She came up with a treatment plan. I was scared and upset when I first came in because I was told I needed a ton of work, she not only put my mind at ease but saved me thousands. Every time I see her she answers all my questions and always puts my mind at ease. She is so gentle. My one grip with her is she is a little OCD, but I guess you'd want that in a dentist, she wants her work to be as flawless as possible so I can't really complain even though these are some long appointments! But she will keep you entertained :)

What stood out most was how empathetic and caring she was on a one-on-one level, listening to my concerns and taking the time to explain every step clearly. She's also extremely responsive; whether it was a quick question or a scheduling concern. Dr. Shukla treated me with patience, kindness, and a genuine commitment to making sure I was happy with my results. I couldn't recommend Dr. Shukla more highly. She has made this whole process much easier, and I'm grateful for her guidance and care. I can genuinely tell she is a good person set on helping people through her practice.

Went to this office for their teeth whitening special. The procedure was neat and results good but…read morebecause of some scheduling conflict we ran out of time to get the whitening trays I purchased completed. They told me to come back for another appt. Just to do the trays. I live far so it took me a bit to be able to go again- alot of COVID shutdowns and changing schedules. I had made two appts- letting the front desk know the purpose- and called to reschedule with no issues. When I finally was able to go I called to confirm the appt I ended up by chance speaking Dr Boiano himself. He tells me that its been almost year since I did the whitening (9 months) and that I would have to pay another $100 or more because my teeth have shifted. He was irritated, rude, unprofessional and seemed overwhelmed. I tried to explain that I had no idea there was time limit- had I known I would've made it a priority- especially because me and my husband paid the $400 each to get this procedure done. He kept cutting me off and acting like it was unbelievable I didn't know this and yelling over me when I spoke. I canceled. Im ok with the policy and would've probably been willing to work something out, but I was so turned off by the way he spoke to me that I could imagine how he speaks to his employees and wanted nothing to do with it.

Everyone at Morris Park Dental has been very kind, and having multiple dental services available in…read moreone location is convenient. In fact, that convenience and the positive review from my other half was why I chose this practice. Unfortunately, my experience with the financial and insurance side of my treatment has been frustrating and unclear. My advice to patients with dental insurance is simple: contact your insurance company directly before agreeing to treatment. Ask what is covered, what requires prior authorization, what has been submitted, and what your estimated responsibility should be. Do not rely solely on being told that "insurance does not cover it." In my case, I was initially told that insurance would not pay for certain implant-related services. However, after contacting my insurers myself, I learned that both plans provided coverage for the extraction, bone graft, and continuing implant process, provided I proceeded with the treatment. I also repeatedly asked whether claims had been submitted and was told they had been. When I contacted one of my insurance companies, however, a representative told me that no claim had been received from the practice. It appeared that one insurance plan had been billed while the other had not. I paid the balance requested without hesitation because I trusted the practice and its expertise. My concern is not that dental care costs money; my concern is the lack of clear and consistent answers about the total charges, which insurance plans were being billed, what each plan covered, and how my balance was calculated. My calls were not always returned, and the responses I received often felt incomplete. Transparency is extremely important when patients are making costly healthcare decisions. We pay for insurance, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses, so reducing our costs matters to us just as reimbursement matters to a provider. If a practice participates in an insurance network, patients should be given clear information about how those benefits are being used. Morris Park Dental may still be a convenient option for people seeking several services in one place, and the staff members I encountered were pleasant. However, patients should read every document carefully, request an itemized treatment plan and billing statement, verify all claims directly with their insurance companies, and get financial explanations in writing before paying or proceeding. As the saying goes, "All that glitters is not gold." Ask questions and independently confirm the answers.

The bathroom tiles got fixed and they fixed and painted walls. Staff here is nice esp the xray guy and hygienist that cleaned my teeth today. My issue and the reason i lowered from 4 to 3 stars is lack of communication and the time i spent here today for just X-rays, cleaning and evaluation. I arrived at 1:35pm for my 1:30pm appt to an empty waiting room. I got X-rays done and cleaning by 2:45pm. After that people started coming in and i was waiting. The hygienist told me my usual doctor wasn't there and she would put me with another if that was ok and i agreed. I got up three times from 2:45-4:05pm to ask what was the wait for? First it was that the dentist was running behind and they couldn't say how many were in front of me. Then they said the doctor must have my paper because it wasn't there and people were getting called that just came in. Then i finally told the front seat girl "listen I've been here over 2.5 hours and I'm starting to get frustrated when it was only a cleaning." She realized my paper got lost and put me with the dentist. My teeth are fine besides food getting stuck into my crowns sometimes and they put in for a replacement on a crown I'm still paying on from the fall which was denied so I'm going to deal with the food occasionally getting stuck until my next cleaning in November. I finally walked out of there at 4:25pm. Almost 3 hours later just for a cleaning and evaluation. The staff is nice but please do better. Thankfully i arranged for someone to pick my son up from school ahead of time but this wait time for a cleaning was insane

Worst dental office ever!!! Took my daughter here, came a half an hour earlier than the appointment…read morebecause she was a new patient and I knew forms needed to be completed as well as insurance verified. Their sign says to "sign in and have a seat and they'll call you if additional information is needed". At first I waited for the woman to pick up the chart as she would have saw that I checked off the box for new patient. She didn't acknowledge me standing there, didn't ask what I was waiting for, nothing!! To "respect" their sign, I sat down. The woman picked up the sign in sheet 26 minutes later, 4 minutes before my daughter's appointment time, this is when I was handed new patient forms and was told that she'd call the insurance to verify coverage. After ANOTHER 30 minutes passed, I asked the woman about how long it would be before my daughter was called as I had to go back to work. I reminded her of the appointment time my daughter had versus the time it was, she said 1 person was before her and she didn't know how long AND "there was nothing she could do". My daughter didn't get seen until a whole hour AFTER her appointment time. What's the point of having an appointment if you're not going to see patients at their scheduled times? A doctor knows approximately how long a procedure should take and thus should know how many slots and slot times they allow for a certain amount of people or type of visit. They need to work on scheduling and hospitality. I could see if we were late but we were more than on time. Most offices tell you to come in 15 minutes before the scheduled time - we were there 30 minutes prior.
