The Dentist and the entire staff were great! So friendly and accommodating. Definitely bringing my entire family here.

My parents in law were in town this past week and unfortunately, my mother in law developed an awful pain in her upper mouth/teeth area. She was in so much pain, we didn't know how best to help her. Being almost 80, she was stubborn and just wanted to sit in her pain. She didn't think that anyone could offer her help. I decided to call Seville Family Dentistry for an emergency booking. We live in the Seville community and I have driven past this clinic before. I called and a lovely receptionist picked up. She said there was no available appointments but would see what she could do. She was empathetic to our situation and offered a lending ear. She managed to get us in with Dr Howie. My parents set off for their appointment. When they got home, they said couldn't fault Dr Howie and highly recommended him. Though there was no immediate solution for my mother, Dr Howie was thorough and gave her some meds to mask the pain until she's back home to possibly see a doctor for nerve pain rather than teeth related. She felt looked after, cared for and respected. I will be going to see Dr Howie for my future dental needs. read more

- [ ] This was the worst dentist experience of my life. As well as I feel was negligence . I had a tooth that broke my dentist had retired so a coworker of my husband suggested Seville family Dentistry . I made my appointment was very clear I want the tooth out, well they took 2 ex rays the dentist came in said you need a bone graft and I don't do those so I'm referring you to a surgeon. I ask what is a bone graft, he explained it's human or cow bone they mix with your blood and it grafts to your bone!! I said not going to do that, I ask can't you just pull the infected tooth out. He said I could but you need a bone graft. They charged me 112.00 for 2 ex rays. So it took another 2 weeks at AZ max surgeons I thought yet again they would pull the infected tooth and I would wait to see if I would do the bone graft... Yet again telling him I don't want a graft can you just pull it? His response was well if you don't do it now it's going to be way more costly if you wait. OH and by the way you can get a disease from the bone graft!! So after the scare tactics I was placed in a room by myself until call to the desk where she slides the 2 sheets of papers over, here is phase 1 extraction and bone graft 2095.00 they did a discount of 495. probably to make me feel I'm getting a bargain! The 2nd sheet 4627. For the implant that I told them ALL I'm not interested in! So I ask her what will it cost just to remove the tooth, here is what she said I'll have to ASK him if he will do that because sometimes he won't if he thinks you need a bone graft!!! WHAT?I told her NOT to bother I'm all done here!! So I call Seville family dentistry to make a appointment to just get the tooth pulled and they tell me they don't do extraction in their office!!! WHAT? Never in my life have I ever heard of a dentist that can't or won't pull a broken infected tooth ! But that's when I figured out the scam... This is my own opinion Seville family Dentistry out sources extractions because they can make the most money off you as a patient he gets a referral fee plus what he charges for your visit which full price was 197. 00 mind you this was 2 ex rays and a lot of you have to have a bone graft.. Sick hun. Money over your well-being Well I found a wonderful dentist Gilbert Road Dentist, same day appointment at 4:00 I was out by 5:00 infected tooth out they were amazing! I love the office and team at Seville Family Dentistry! My family and I have been going to Seville Family Dentistry for 10 years. Dr. Joy and Dr. Howie are perfectionists and thoroughly answer all of my questions and never make me feel "rushed". All of the hygienists go above and beyond with my cleanings and are so nice. The front desk staff is friendly, patient and welcoming. The help me understand what is and is not covered by my insurance and when I didn't have insurance, Seville Family Dentistry worked with my family and me. Make sure to book your appointments early because they fill up fast. Seville Family Dentistry is open a few Saturdays a month but those appointments fill up fast. I love Seville Family Dentistry and highly recommend to families with kids of all ages! read more

This place has been so great for my kids (6 & 10) they feel so comfortable there! Anyone that takes them back makes them feel at home. We had a possible issue with my son and having to pull some teeth and they insisted I waited a couple weeks to see if they came out on their own. When we went back in I felt like one tooth could come out on its own but the other one I was worried about. They told us how he can get it out faster and said he could get out in his own if he kept trying! Also, anytime I'm there I'm just so happy to see how clean it is and professional they all are! Finally found a dentist office where the entire family can go. Here you will find a great office, knowledgeable staff, low-to-no wait times (sorry latest magazine- another time!), and wonderful dentists. We recently moved to AZ from CA. In CA we had great dental care - three different dentists for family. We are so grateful to find Seville Family Denistry. We even had a semi- emergency with a cracked crown. No problem getting an appointment. Oh and the person making the appointment for us was super knowledgeable. I was stunned- I certainly expected less. read more

The best dentists around. When choosing a dentist, make sure you pick one who is more concerned with YOUR best interests instead of their bottom line. I've never been pressured into excessive work, the staff is very friendly and the doctors are good people. Here's a post-script example. My son was diagnosed with like a dozen cavities and they said we should do it on 4 separate visits-per quadrant- so it's not so stressful for him. After the first one, he was convinced to change his hygeine habits. We did the second and third, but then the doc said that he has clearly improved his care and that we could skip the fourth quadrant (they're primary teeth). they could have easily let us do that fourth visit and made more money, but they didn't. that's pretty cool read more

I am so happy to have found such a wonderful dentist. To find a dentist that cares more about what's best for the patient and the art of dentistry over $$$ is very rare. My former dentists did shoddy work and talked me into procedures I did not need only to have my insurance deny payment after the work was done. My last dentist told me I needed root canal and a crown. I had both done and in less than 2 years the crown broke off at the root. Saw the dentist that did the job same day. While he was working on me he said " I am surprised this tooth lasted this long ". If I had known this I would never had spent big bucks on a tooth that would need to be pulled in the end. Seville Dentistry is honest with a super helpful, friendly staff. I have never felt pain while in the chair and have been so relaxed I could have dozed off. read more

Poor Follow and excessive recommendations After initial visit was referred to Oral Surgeons for extraction and implant. I felt ok / good about initial recommendations However after consult with Oral surgeon I was told Original Dentist recommend more work. I called and followed up and was told my Dentist wife had made the recommendations apparently she is also a dentist I expressed my concern to the Oral Surgeon and he called back multiple times after Talking to Howie. I couldn't get a call back from HowIe or his office. I also called Seville (Dr Howie) office directly and never received a call back or follow up Perhaps this is routine for them but I felt that if it rises to the level of surgery I should hear directly from the person that examIned me. I decided to change Dentists and start over on the evaluation process. Will not use Seville Dental again. read more

My kids family drs are Dr. Valenzuela (my son) and Dr. Hererra (my daughter). They are both good Dr s but different. They know that I prefer to not use medicine if possible and they are sensitive to that, offering me other alternatives. Dr. Cheung is also good, and has been the on call dr when I call after hrs. It s a pain to schedule the kids vaccinations as I have had to make repeated calls to finally make an appointment, but typically getting an appointment with the drs have been easy. We ve had to use the after hours # often and it s very responsive and good. The drs always call back quickly. If the scheduling of the shots with the nurses were easy, I would ve given this a 5 star. That is the only negative thing. Sometimes the wait is a little bit, but they are a very understanding office that works with you. I do not feel they have us doing any unnecessary and they always try to provide cost effective solutions that are in the best interest of the kids and family, at least in my experience. We have been going here for 2-3 yrs. We normally try to schedule in advanced, but sometimes things come up and one fo the kids needs to be seen same day, which they do those appointments, too, but you may not get your dr. That s okay because they are all good. read more

I've gone to them for about 2 years and overall they have been very nice and the care was good. You have to make appointments 6 months out and that is difficult for me as I travel for a living and don't have a regular schedule. They refuse to accommodate me and I don't know how most people know what they are doing 6 months from now. When I told them how this did not work with my schedule they basically told me to go somewhere else then. This does not make you feel appreciated or feel that they really care about customers. I found another dentist nearby and the care was also good and they seem to be able to get me in for an appointment or put me on a wait list that allows me to be seen. The "care less about you" attitude was just a red flag for me and I'm glad I moved on. read more

Dental hygienist was sensitive to my comfort and checked to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable throughout the cleaning. The dentists here are really good. They are nice and always willing to spend time explaining what they are doing. I'm usually full of questions and not usually trusting. Because they always answer my questions and don't BS me, I've felt cofortable coming here for years. And best of all, I've never been robbed or stabbed in the parking lot. read more

I love this place and I will never see another dentist ever again! (Unless dr. Howie retires :-) I started coming here a few years ago and had so many issues, that I was embarrassed, but doctor howie made me feel so comfortable. He even made extra accommodations because he knew I was afraid of the dentist! well I'm not afraid anymore! But about a year and a half ago, I tried another dental office because my friend worked there and convinced me to try her office. ..I had to go back to Seville! No other place compares. The staff is also very friendly and I always feel like we can chat for hours. Take it from me, you won't regret it! oh, and they also have tv's on the ceiling that you can watch while being treated. From the front desk, to the technicians, to the hygienists to the dentists, everyone was respectful and extremely helpful in making sure I was able to have a thorough exam and my children were accommodated. This dentist practice is seriously best I've ever been to. Everyone from the staff that work the desk, to the dental hygienists they are A+. Dr. Howie is awesome and seriously is a perfectionist. I had a cavity refilled today and it was the best experience. You usually don't associate cavities with great experiences but this certainly was. I did not feel a thing while he worked on my tooth. Also, when we were almost finished he wanted to make sure my bite sat perfectly with my teeth and continued to polish and finish my tooth until it was perfect. We have been going to Seville Family Dentistry for the past 12 years. We LOVE it there. Both Dr. Howie and Dr. Joy are wonderful, knowledgeable, and make you feel at ease. They are also conservative in their judgments. I loved them so much that I was hesitant when they brought on another Dr., but Dr. Silverman is also very kind and knowledgeable. To top it off, the office staff is WONDERFUL. I had a urgent situation which needed a referral to an oral surgeon, and the office staff called and coordinated everything with the oral surgeon's office and was was able to work with them to get us a quick appointment. I am not one to leave reviews but I want EVERYONE to know that Dr. Joy Brauer is the BEST DENTIST IN THE WORLD. I have not had to have much work done but the little I have had done was done with the most compassion. I get really bad anxiety knowing that I am going to be numb for hours. Dr Joy Brauer always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and relaxed no matter how long it takes. She even ordered in something that reverses the numbing since she knows it is so hard for me. Let me just say that it was the best experience anyone could have going to a dentist!!! I was no longer numb after about 45 minutes of her finishing!! I didn't have to wait several hours to feel like myself again. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER OVER AND OVER AGAIN. The dentist was pleasant, staff was pleasant too. My problem is that the dental hygienist put unclean (salty) gloves in my mouth while examining my mouth with tools. The dentist apologized and claimed that she was sure that the gloves were not dirty. Well, if they were clean, why would they taste salty??? Now, not only do I fear going to a dentist again, I am having to go through the ordeal of getting blood work done with my primary care doctor to rule out any infections that I may have caught from the dirty gloves. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone. read more

I've been a patient in this office for several years. I have nothing but great service up until yesterday. I showed up about 15 minutes late I called in advance and apologized. When I arrived at the office the front office worker made a insensitive remark about how I was 15 minutes late. It was obvious I was late because I informed them in advance. Our family loves Seville Family Dentistry. Both doctors are patient, thorough, and have hired an amazing staff of hygienists. Our whole family goes here now, but we just recently started bringing the kids as well. We had been taking them to Timber Falls Pediatric Dentistry for over 5 years and my kids teeth were horrendous. I thought it was just genetics and we had to live with it, but I eventually started to wonder if maybe the team there wasn't all that great. The minute we brought the kids to Seville Family Dentistry, I knew I was right. The hygienist explained what we could do to combat what was going on with my son's teeth and she was able to get them looking the best they'd looked in years. Plus, my husband had been going to Val Vista Dentistry and I convinced him to move. When he did, the team at Seville Family contacted Val Vista for my husband's records to find out that they couldn't provide a full set of x-rays because they never actually took any even though they claimed them on insurance. So it's refreshing to be able to find dentists who are honest and looking out for our best interests. read more

My family enjoys Mrs. Dentist Joy, but I was scheduled with Mr. Howie. He left me in the chair for 15 minutes. Just gave a quick nod of the head and hello to recognize my sitting there, but offered no further explanation. When I got up and walked out he sent a letter stating he would not be providing me service. Wasn't planning on going back, but he had to make a point of it to my family.
