I thought Dr. Dinh's office was very clean, well decorated, welcoming and modern…read more On or about 2014, I saw Dr. Dinh to fill a cavity and was recommended a root canal and a crown, which her office charged and I paid a bit under two thousand dollars for. I have never needed a root canal before and was wholly unaware that it is a separate procedure done by an endodontist. I returned for multiple lengthy appointments for this recommended "root canal" and crown. Despite issues with the temporary crown before the permanent crown was ready, I remember thinking she did such a great job that I even made appointments for my pre-kindergarteners' cleanings after Dr. Dinh's receptionist told me Dr. Dinh also sees children. In hindsight, her clinic is not kid-friendly in any way so my fault for not making the connection. At their appointments, both my kids were shy and uncomfortable. So the appointments were cut short when Dr. Dinh, her dental assistant and I were unable to get the kids to open their mouths for inspections or their cleanings. Her office charged and I paid full price for the kids' appointments regardless. My husband was quite bothered that we were charged for a two full appointments when Dr. Dinh gave up trying to entertain the children pretty quickly, and that no dental work was actually performed, so we never went back to her dentistry. Fast forward a few years later, I visited a different dentistry when the crown Dr. Dinh placed fell out. At this appointment, the new dentist and her dentist business partner were both confused as to why I believed I had a root canal when the root to my tooth was clearly still in my mouth. In addition, based on their X-rays, they thought the crown was unnecessary and that the original cavity could've been filled. In an attempt to get to the bottom of this, I called Dr. Dinh's office to request my records without giving a reason, which the receptionist tried to convince me, adamantly, that I was not entitled to. A few days later, her office called back stating that I could pick up my records at their office, as if they didn't deny me of them in the first place. I never picked up the records so I am not making any accusations. I also understand that there is no requirement of a root canal being done prior to a dental crown. However, the initial refusal of my records, the lack of explanation or alternative option, my inconsistent belief of what was actually done to my teeth, in addition to the second dentists' advice and eventual dental work really made me suspicious of my experience. Despite the situation described above, I would say that Dr. Angie Dinh acted professionally at all times when we interacted and had very gentle hands.

I called two dentist offices, but wanted to go to one, because of hours and recommendations, but they were not in-network with my new plan. So, by what I saw in the Outsmart and recommendation of that office, I called Dr. Logan's office. My call to Dr. Logan's office was very pleasant, Joey, the office manager was super friendly and really involved. He didn't seem in a rush, he was willing to get my records, contact my doctor, and my insurance company, to give me a quote for what it would cost. I knew that I needed a new patient visit (x-rays, cleaning, and to get a filling redone). My first visit, I realized that I was already familiar with the area (it's in the same strip mall as Guava Lamp. I had an early morning appointment, and arrived at the same time as Dr. Logan and Joey, they were very friendly, welcomed me in. I filled out my paperwork in the comfortable waiting room, where I was offered a water. Joey chatted with me, like an old friend. Ana was my hygienist, and was super friendly. I had my x-rays done with all of the modern technology. They checked me for oral cancer, and gave me a very in-depth exam. The cleaning was pretty gentle, she was friendly and talked with me. I already knew that I needed a filling, but Dr. Logan told me that I needed a crown, instead. He made me feel okay about it, though, even though I knew it would be expensive. Leaving, Joey was great! He even had my work's school calendar in my file to help schedule my future appointments. Second appointment, Dr. Logan was able to do a filling instead of the crown. He was so gentle, that I could have taken a nap! The only thing that kept me awake was the drilling, as I didn't even have to hold my own mouth open (they had a device that did it for me). They told me that next time I can use headphones and actually take a nap. I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist! I didn't even know that was possible! Let alone, they really care about your health and take their time to do things right!
