I have been a patient at Sunrise Dental for many years, but I recently reconnected with the kindest dentist in the universe, Dr. Song Ahn. My recent experiences have been awesome. After being seen in this office I believe they are decent and actually care for their patients. They will try to do what you ask of them. Their prices are not extra expensive but they are definitely on the higher range of pricing. Their equipment does not seem to equate to their higher price range. I was a bit on edge about their older equipment & wondering if they would be able to handle if an emergency were to take place during a procedure. Just providing my opinion. I hadn't been to the dentist in so long but my jaw pain had started to make me believe I needed my wisdom teeth out. I was originally going to go to another dentist but because their receptionist couldn't answer my questions, I chose here instead. I'm so glad I did. Not only is the office super clean and orderly, everybody working is professional and kind. There was not one moment during my visit that I felt uneasy. Every question of mine was answered carefully and my comfort was taken into account every step of the way. Nicole really took care of me during all the imaging and I couldn't be more appreciative. Sunrise Dental is an amazing facility located in the Heights. They are always acommodating. I have visited this office maybe 50+ times, and the front desk has always greeted me with a warm welcome. They have some of the best orthodontists and oral surgeons that a facility can offer. Many dental suites, so you are not stuck sitting in the waiting area for more than 10mins. I have had every service from braces, tooth extractions, root canals, etc. and I have never had a horrific experience. They always make sure I'm comfortable during treatments. Cleaning sessions are also very thorough, and they take the time to educate you on healthier habits. Although the commute is now lengthy due to me relocating further North, it is still worth it because I know this dental center is trusty worthy for me and all my family members! I missed my original appointment and she called to tell me about an availability that was sooner than I'd rescheduled ( this was AMAZING customer service to me because she knew I wanted to make my original appointment really bad) After rescheduling , my insurance fell through because of some technicalities but ELIZABETH researched and gathered information to help me through the process!!! I cannot thank her enough. Needless to say I was /am willing to pay out of pocket because the service here is TOP TIER. My hygienist LIZZET was amazing as well! She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I couldn't have asked for a better staff to be working today! So, I'm big on reviews and doing my research before buying, service work, etc. As a result I decide to book an appointment with Sunrise Dental and let me tell you Dr. Callahan has been the best dentist I have ever had work on me and not once did I jump because the tool slipped or flossing was rough. Our dental office closed and moved to far for us to follow. I went on a neighborhood app and decided to visit Sunrise Dental. I called and made the appointments and gave my insurance information, asking if we were in network. The answer was yes. Went to my appt and they did the pertinent x-rays and evaluation along with cleaning our teeth (husband also). They gave us our six month cleaning appointment. During the first visit we were not charged any amount. Our insurance covers all cleaning and first evaluation. After the six months we went to do our cleaning. My shock was when I was charge $224.00 because they said my insurance only paid $78.00 and I needed to pay the difference. After asking why I was charged if my insurance pays 100% of cleanings, I was told that I needed to speak with my insurance. I did call my insurance and was told they were out of network. The clerk starred at me like I was from another world when I wanted to know why I was charged so much. I ask everybody that visits them to make sure they are processing your insurance correctly. Their attention to clients is good, even though I found them kind of flaky like they're not sure what they're doing. read more

If I could I would give them no stars. In November 2022 I got 2 new crowns on my 2 front teeth and 2 veneers. My experience was horrible, painful and stressful. 1. I had temporary teeth and 1 came off in 1- 2 days, so lucky me I had no tooth on my b-day and holidays. 2. The 1st crowns added where placed on me and they had to be removed all over again, and if you got crowns before you know getting new crowns is a process. I was so specific on how I wanted the shape for my teeth and even showed and sent pics and yet they decided to make the shape how they wanted. They charged about $6,000-$7,000 which after they put me through hell and gave me teeth I did not like, they gave me back my money. 1 YEAR LATER today, My crown chipped.... LIKE HOW!!!! Crowns are suppose to last years. I wear my night guard and don't eat meat or hardly ever eat candy specially hard candy. My old crowns last me 12 years and the dentist was at an area that is not very nice. Sunrise dental is in the heights, a nice expensive area and the job was horrible!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I still called for advice and of course because my money was given back I had no warranty. Which it's fine...I wanted advice but instead was transferred to Mary the lady that collects the $ money, which she was rude . It's not even about the money is the pain and stress I went through. The most recent dental procedure I received a few days ago was two molar implants by Dr. Song Ahn and dental assistant Ana. During the implant procedure, it was painless and quicker than I expected! As always, my experience at Sunrise Dental is always comfortable and spectacular. I use to fear when it comes to visiting the dental office before, but since I've started going to Sunrise Dental my fear has extremely subside due to all the great experiences I have encountered. Typically when we feel pain during a dental procedure, that makes us not want to revisit the dentist again. I can promise you that it is not the case with visiting Sunrise Dental. I have not once encountered a painful visit and I have had a major extraction done, many fillings, crown fitting, and even implants. I walk into the office with the utmost confidence that all the staff at Sunrise Dental will take care of me with the most caring and gentle attitude. They take care of all your concerns and worries before and after your visit. Also, all the staff working there are very professional and attentive to your needs. Just a few weeks ago I cracked a tooth and it was so painful something had to be done immediately. Not having dental insurance can be scary at a time like this. Thankfully, we have care credit and I looked up dentists near by on their website. They were my third phone call and the first to answer with a person and not an answering system. The lady on the phone was very helpful and booked me the first available appointment. which was late the next morning. When I arrived someone took my medical information and inputted it directly into a computer system. At that point it hurt to even talk. HURT. Which I expressed several times. That part was a little frustrating as I would have preferred to fill out the paperwork myself if only for the sake of anonymity and it would have been less painful! HOWEVER. I am sure they have this system in place for reasons I am unaware. But that is why I deducted one star. The dental assistant who greeted me and took me in for ex-rays ($98) had a kind "bedside" demeanor. In fact through out my visits I continued to be impressed with the people working with the Dr. Now onto to Dr. Song, he took care of the painful part of my tooth immediately. His demeanor is one that puts patients at ease. In following visits (I had a crown put in for $1100 which seems to be on the lower end of standard pricing) he is shown to be through and meticulous. Which as a patient, is comforting to note he is not missing anything. The facility itself is clean and has that sterile medical office look to it. Not a lot of fuss. You know you are paying for the actual dental work and not fancy chairs or a movie playing. read more

I'm so thankful for everyone at Sunrise Dental! My husband and I moved to the Heights 7 years ago and when dental pain led us to dental hunting, how happy we have been to find Sunrise. What you get with Sunrise is great dental experience of those who have worked decades in the field. Both Dr. Ahn and Dr. Lee know their trade and they are kind to their patients as well as to their staff. Mary, goes above and beyond arranging and rearranging appointments, helps with billing and phone calls to make sure all is well. Dr. Chancelor is wonderful at teeth cleaning, gentle and yet thorough. Each hygienist has ensured dental comfort and I never leave there without hugs, Norma is great at that!
