What amazing dentist office to have your dental work done. in a pinch, I called the office and was greeted by Bryce, who was a very polite and knowledgeable and understanding with my dilemma. he quickly booked me an appointment and got me in the same day I called. I was amazed how fast I got in and was taken care of. he processed my insurance and check to make sure it was covered and did a wonderful job. and reassured me that everything was gonna be OK. this man and there staff are an asset to this dentist office. I had to take a minute to Thank Dr.Smith and everyone in his office, from the welcoming office staff, to the genuine and highly skilled and competent Dental assistants. My experience went beyond 5 stars, because from the minute i walked in to the office, even when I spoke to someone to make my appointment, it was obvious (to me ), that the level of patient care exceeded what I have experienced before. I was informed of the work that needed to be done, and the proposed treatment. It was very clear, and precise, with costs that were completely fair. I was referred by my sister who was delighted by him also, and Although I don't live very close to the office, it is definitely worth the drive and I will recommend him to all my friends. read more

Craig Smith seemed to schedule me for his convenience and not my pain or health. I scheduled a visit for an extraction. I told him I was in pain for 2 days. I felt I should tell him because he did not ask at any time about any pain. When I arrived, he thumbed through my mouth with disregard for my apparent pain as if he was focused on something else. During his visual exam, He pressed 3 times directly onto the tooth gum that hurt before I had to finally protest from the pain. He looked me over for all of three minutes total. Took NO xrays but instead took my word for which tooth had to come out. Maybe he actually saw the infection but it didn't seem like it as he had his thumb right on top of it while looking in other places. He seemed distracted by the need for speed and I felt his care and accuracy was being sacrificed. When he made a plan for how to proceed, He filled out the map of the teeth to be removed -incorrectly, identifying one wrong tooth of the teeth he decided to remove. He prescribed a pain killer and antibiotics and quickly left the room. That's when I found out from the Dental Assistant that I would not be having the problem tooth removed at all. He decided he wanted to have me take a week of antibiotics. Contrary to this, I had to ask the dental assistant why I wasn't being treated right now and it was SHE that told me I had an infection though neither she nor the DDS had any x rays to determine that. Now, on the one hand, she was right about the infection. On the other hand, that was also the reason they should have worked on me right then. As I told them, the medication was failing to give me but an hour or two of relief for medicine that should have lasted up to 6 hours. But, he never asked about pain. It was up to ME to tell HIM in strong enough terms, which I failed to do. Most of his time spent talking to me had to do with upselling me on future work and not doing what I came there for. I went home confused and spent a third sleepless night in extreme pain while the pain killers continued to get less and less effective... which scared the crap out of me. Now, I'm no DDS so it was easy for me to underestimate the danger I was in... In thew morning I decided that something was all wrong with my experience so I went to another dentist and found out it was actually bad. With as much puss as was present, waiting another week was not the right course of action. The new dentist did not seem to think the presence of an infection was any reason to stop from pulling it. He thought it WAS the reason for pulling it. I used to appreciate Dr. Smith's skills, but it looks to me now that his main skill is to accommodate his speed for his benefit and was ultimately a disservice to my health. He should have operated on me even with the presence of an infection as the new dentist did...because it was infected. I don't know what is going on at that clinic or why he has to build such a fast machine out of his practice, but he has completely lost my confidence. For my own sake, I won't ever go there again and for the sake of others, I hope he changes how he practices dentistry. read more

Dr. Smith is great, he is trustworthy and kind overall. Since my first visit I felt comfortable going back to him. I went back and had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. He was gentle (as much as he possible could be). I had a good experience, so much better than I thought. I'm returning to him for more dental work and highly recommend him! Service of the office is good, they actually answer the phone. Staff doesn't return phone calls but it's not a big deal. read more

I went in with fear and pain. Came out pain free, comfortable and relax. I can actually say I feel comfortable going to the dentist now. Very friendly. No waiting. No pressure from him to do work. Dr. Smith is so personable and professional. I can't even remember when I started going there. My dentist before would always want to refill my fillings. Since going to Dr. Smith I have not had this problem. He was also wonderful when I tripped and my face took the majority of the fall. He took xrays, checked my nose and all my teeth. He told me what to look for if there were any problems. He spent a lot of time with me. He then said, "You know, falling is not that uncommon. I have a few patients that fall from time to time. However, they usually have walkers." I laughed so hard! He is a wonderful man and my family won't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed if you see him. read more

I made an appointment for an extraction, I had an xray with me and there was no talk about needing additional xrays and they were happy to quote a good price in advance which is exactly what they charged me (different from the oral surgeon I saw prior, reviewing next). I had an exam done by a dentist in town and was told my wisdom tooth needed to be pulled out. No argument from me as it was very painful and bothersome. They couldn't schedule me to have it taken out til 2 months later! I called up Dr. Craig and 3 hours later my tooth was extracted! He was polite and proffesional, and he walked me through the entire procedure and was generous with the numbing goodness so I didn't feel a thing. About 2 years ago I went to another dentists office in town, Hemet Family Dentist. My gums had been bleeding for awhile and I always had a lot of plaque build up. (I never flossed) They told me that I had severe periodontal disease. The dentist continued to show me a video of what happens in your mouth when you have this (teeth falling out) and said that "I was such a pretty girl and wouldn't want my teeth to fall out!" At the time I had dental insurance through the state (Medi-Cal) And he told me that this "deep cleaning" procedure would cost about $1500 and that insurance would not pay for it. I was going to do it because I was so scared about my teeth falling out! I was only 20 at the time, due to conflicts with my work schedule and when their dental hygienist would be in the office. I decided to get prices from other offices, since I would be paying out of pocket anyways. I called Dr Smith's office (where I had always gone growing up and loved, but could not go there anymore due to my insurance) they had me come in that same day and bring my Xrays taken at the other place. Dr Smith numbed me up and cleaned out my teeth and explained why this was happening and that it was very common and that I was only at risk of my teeth falling out if this continued for 20+ years and never had them looked at. He said that to some degree everyone has this problem and that I just needed to floss more. All said and done it was $90 and he recommended me come back every 3-6 months for a check up and to start flossing everyday. Which I have done, and I have not had another problem since! I haven't been in about a year (scheduled for next week!) and I am so very happy with my results. read more
