Our son recently started in Ms. Gallo's toddler class and is absolutely thriving! We were able to…read moredo a meet & greet before starting which helped him officially put a face to his teacher's name. Ms. Gallo was very informative during the meet & greet and helped eased a lot of my anxieties putting him into a new environment. When he officially started, Ms. Gallo would call and gave updates on how he was doing. Every day after class, she would let us know how his day went and continued to reassure that things would get better. Our son took to her right away. She has been warm, empathetic, and observant of his needs. Over the past couple months, our son has begun to really thrive! He is more confident in himself and very independent. He has taken the skills that he's learned in school and has started generalizing to home. He grabs his plate and utensils when it's meal time. He cleans up after himself when he's done eating. He uses the potty, cleans up, and washes his hands independently. His speech has grown exponentially. He went from speaking in simple sentences with improper grammar and pronoun usage to speaking in complex sentences. It is apparent that his language abilities are really being fostered in class. It is amazing how much he's grown in such a short amount of time. He talks about his friends daily and tells me how much he loves Ms. Gallo. We are so happy that Ms. Gallo is our first teacher and so excited to see how much he'll continue to grow.

Through her guidance, we watched him grow into a confident, independent, and secure little boy. From the very beginning, it was clear that Ms. Munjee is an exceptionally kind, compassionate, and skilled educator. She communicated with us consistently and thoughtfully, always offering meaningful advice on how to create a rich, supportive environment for our son at home. I'll never forget the sweetness of watching him run up to her with a hug each morning--proof of the trust, comfort, and bond he developed with her. Ms. Munjee gives extraordinary attention to every child in her classroom. She takes the time to understand each student's unique interests and gently encourages them to explore those passions with curiosity and joy. She knew our son loved singing, reading, and ocean animals (especially whales) and she nurtured those interests daily. There is something truly special about the way Ms. Munjee greets each child who walks into her classroom. You can feel how deeply she cares for every student and how committed she is to helping them grow into thoughtful, capable individuals. Many mornings, I watched her patiently help a child self-soothe while also imparting invaluable lessons about boundaries, empathy, and respect. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Ms. Munjee as our son's teacher. We know that because of her care, encouragement, and teachings, he is well prepared to continue thriving in primary with his new teacher, Ms. Syed.

I didn't get the name of the nice lady that was taken care of my family member, all my family member was doing was trying to explain to the lady what the letter was about. SO Amy came right over and started yelling "stop being rude stop been rude" with such an aggressive attitude I had to look up & say how is she being rude by her explaining what the letter was about. She was yelling , and walked back by her desk looking mean & rolling her eyes very ,very unprofessional This is really getting out of hand at this school . I will advise whoever is the head person at this school needs to look into the camera on this date and see how Amy the clerk lady was acting.

When i told the supervisors out at recess, they just brushed it off. But one time, towards the end of lunch, this kid flipped me off and then we had to go back to class. When i told my teacher, she asked, "why didn't you tell a supervisor?" I was in 4th grade, my teacher was Mrs Donna Fetta. She also confiscated my huge pencil that i had brought in as a joke and she never gave it back. The only teachers i enjoyed there was Ms Heather, Mr Wagner, and Mrs P but they don't work there anymore. The first year i was there, we had a nice firm principal that was fair and treated everyone equal. But then this guy principal came the next year, i think his name was Mr Johnson. He was horrible, he didn't do ANYTHING about the conflict happening at his school. My little brother in like 2023 when he was in 4th grade caught kids VAPING and bringing sharp objects to school and did almost absolutely nothing. I think he suspended her for like 2 days, that's it. The kids were a holes and the teachers did not care, nor did the supervisors at recess. This one supervisor was a biatch to me a lot, she had her son going to this school as well. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! DONT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR CHILD TO HATE THEIR SCHOOL LIFE AND DREAD COMING TO SCHOOL!!!!! Shame on you, Peterson. TREAT YOUR STUDENTS LIKE HUMAN BEINGS

I wish I should have read the reviews about this school before paying registration fee to apply for…read moremy 5 years old son. This is not a good school when it comes to assessment tests ( Which not simply testing whether your kids can communicate back and forth or not) for a kindergarten level. I feel like I got scam, they should have made a video to talk about the assessment tests, warnings for the parents to consider. I don't think the kids will be happy learning anything here. This place is all about money and intense competitions. The era of AI will eliminate these corrupted educations, absolutely bring no values to the kids. Parents nowadays are too busy and think paying a lot means good results.

There is one teacher for every ten kids in the classroom, allowing for individual attention. Any behavioral problems are quickly addressed and resolved in a constructive manner that equips students with tools to handle future conflicts. I hate to admit this, but when I compare the way Pegasus first graders interact during free play to the way his public school friends interact, I see a dramatic difference. Pegasus kids are problem solvers; they calm conflicts and seek solutions. Maybe it's a selection bias at the admissions level, but in the end, who cares? I'm proud of my child on the playground and of what he has learned academically. Fingers crossed this continues in his future experiences.

One is in general population and one has special needs so I am familiar with the past and present principals. Both Mr Smith and Mr Platt were/are involved and knowledgeable about the kids in their care. It's refreshing. I always feels like my needs and requests are acknowledged and addressed. Mr Platt is so kind and caring, you couldn't ask for more. Mrs Skouson is the person you reach in the office and she is personable and knowledgeable and just kind. No matter the situation she sees it through with a smile in her voice. Having a child with special needs gives me a clear view of the inner workings of the school and it is exemplary! I see the time and care put into planning for the needs of the kids. The curriculum is veered toward each child's needs. I have kids with very different needs and I see the staff try to accommodate both as individuals. I am grateful to have had my kids in this school. If you happen to be in the schools district, take the time to really appreciate how lucky you are, because I have heard horror story's from families in other districts and am SO GRATEFUL I have no horror stories of my own. I'd be remiss if I did not mention Ms Sarah Hovenden, one of the Special Ed teachers. Her involvement, flexibility and patience with her kids shows in her ability to keep a calm pleasant environment for the neediest children. She is a Godsend!

He doesn't listen to two sides of the story only one when there is trouble; one of my child got into trouble once or twice and he uses that as an excuse not to listen to them when there is conflict. He uses threats to scare off the students when parents aren't there. On the outside he may come off as nice to us parents but he isn't. Especially during student of the month he acts like he is nice to them but he isn't also this ceremony/event not only does it look down on students who aren't at an academic level it is also based on biasedness. Oh and don't get me started on J the 6th grade teacher(currently a 5th grade teacher at the moment). He blatantly admit he was biased to girls 3 times during the year and it was a small group of girls which he was biased to, kind of looks like pedophilia in my opinion; he lets kids cuss and says whatever happens in this class I will back you up but outside there isn't much he can do but he still does. He lets them USE PHONES during class and not even as an end of school class event if he sees them with it out he doesn't care! He uses ai (i could care less about that) to set up games on blooket and gim kit they play almost every day (I don't care but almost every day) and some of the answers are wrong he is teaching them WRONG STUFF which is not only concerning but hurting my children. My children have seen kids humping the desk. I'd like to shoutout the other teachers including t the most nicest person I and my children met she helps students with everything. She also leads the yearbook and pentathlon team thank you and all the other teachers too.

The staff is truly amazing--they go above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. One of the things I love most is how parent involvement is not only encouraged but truly what makes the school run. The community here is strong, and it shows in the events, programs, and overall positive atmosphere. A standout for us has been the BFF program, which fosters a love for reading in such a fun and interactive way. It's one of a kind in the Huntington Beach School District and has made such a difference in my child's confidence with books! Safety and support are top priorities here, and I can say without a doubt that my child feels both every single day. We seriously debated private school, but after completing our first year in kindergarten, I can confidently say that Moffett operates at the level of a private school--with the bonus of an incredible public school community. Choosing Moffett was the best decision for our family, and we can't wait for our second child to begin his Mustang journey! If you're looking for a school that feels like home, this is it!
