I had a very uncomfortable experience at this dental office…read more My daughter was charged for a fluoride treatment that was not actually performed. The charge was refunded only after I brought this to the office's attention. The doctor at this office reviewed my daughter's X-rays, which were taken at this office, and told me that she had a cavity and a white spot. The doctor recommended a filling for the cavity and a Curodont treatment for the white spot. I declined the Curodont treatment at that time because it would have been an out-of-pocket expense, and the diagnosis was unexpected, so I wanted to get a second opinion first. I brought the same X-rays to my daughter's previous dentist, who reviewed them, examined my daughter's teeth in person, and told me that she did not find a cavity or white spot. I understand that dentists can have different professional opinions, and I cannot personally determine which assessment was correct. However, receiving conflicting opinions about my daughter's dental health was concerning as a parent. During my X-rays, the sensor caused me to gag repeatedly, making the procedure very uncomfortable. During my first visit, I was photographed from the front and, unexpectedly, from the side. The staff then handed me a metal retractor and asked me to place it in my mouth for additional photographs. None of this was explained to me beforehand, and I was not expecting to have photographs taken from multiple angles with a metal retractor in my mouth. The experience left me feeling confused and uncomfortable. My daughter had a similar experience. She was asked to place a metal retractor in her mouth for photographs, and she was also photographed from the side. She told me afterward that she found the experience weird and uncomfortable as well. Ultimately, I lost confidence in the practice and decided to take my family elsewhere, so I cancelled all of our upcoming appointments with this dental clinic.

Driving to Roseville is worth it!!!!!! Especially you only have to go a few times a year. I loved that I can get everything done in one place. Great service, staff, office and prices too. After many many months of research and putting it off I finally called Dr. Falvey's office. From start to finish it was the best dental experience I have every had. Everyone was extremely kind, calm and patient, including the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Falvey. There was no judgement and lots of listening and understanding of how my phobia developed. Michelle, the hygienist was gentle, regularly checked in with me and told me I could use nitrous if needed. I never actually needed it! Dr. Falvey came up with a treatment plan that incorporated my phobia and changing my pattern of going from deep cleaning to deep cleaning. The receptionist encouraged me on the way in for having made it to the appointment and on the way out for making my next one. The first visit with x-rays was pricey but for me its worth the extra cost to actually go, have a positive experience and avoid more expensive problems later. Follow up visit prices seem pretty in-line with other dentists. If you are fearful of the dentist this is the place for you.

I experience moderate discomfort during routine dental visits, and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that I'm comfortable throughout my visit. My former dentist would fault me for this: "you dont floss enough or brush thoroughly..etc" was their reason for my consistent discomfort. At this clinic, I experience none of that. You're uncomfortable? Okay we'll numb you- no more pain and leaving in a bad mood after treatment. I am always greeted very kindly by the girls up front and my hygienist.
