We were called about 30 minutes after arrival to go back to a room where they could look at you. Doctor came in and checked out my husband and son (separate occasions) and gave their medical advice and we were on our way. Super easy, doctors and MP seem really knowledgeable and helpful. Also, really appreciate the cleanliness of this hospital. I didn't see one speck of trash anywhere. Hopefully I don't have to come back, but I would choose this hospital over and over again!

From my first pre-surgical scheduling event with the competent caring and delightful front office staff, it has been the most successful recovery and outcome from any past Surgical experiences. Waking up from anesthesia, Dr Ben was there to help get me oriented and stable. The following day , when I started physical therapy, under the care of the competent therapeutic assistants and the supervisory team of Dr Ben, Randy Payne and Susan my recovery has been astonishing. While there is elements of discomfort on the road to recovery every single week, I have progressed exponentially in regaining my range of motion and strengthening of my body. The assistants are encouraging, attentive and never cut corners. The same can be said for the supervisory staff who are always vigilant and know what I can do better than what I think I can. I can't imagine going anywhere else to recover and I don't think I'm alone in that opinion. Thank you for getting me back and actually even better than I was on a good day!

It became necessary in my 40s and while he was pretty up front about how difficult it could be, all went as well as could be expected. It was much harder on him than me. I was comfortably asleep in the chair. His staff was super efficient and friendly and he is kind and confident. He followed up by calling me the night of surgery and asked that I text and update him on my numbness the next day. I appreciated the great communication and care. We are lucky to have such a good oral surgeon caring for Cedar City patients. They got me in the day after my referral was written and the tooth was pulled within a week!

We are now pregnant again, baby due in March 2019 and plan to use her with this baby as well. I have NEVER felt as if our appointments were rushed and she answered every single question we had and was compassionate with our concerns.. What I respect about Laurie the most is that she will tell you how it is (her professional opinion) but will respect your wishes without guilt. I love being able to use a midwife while also having the peace of mind of delivering in the hospital. On top of really liking her, we REALLY love her staff. Always friendly and excited to see us when we arrive. We also use Liberty Health Share for our payment option and they were more than willing to work with them, when others would not. Highly recommend.

I am not a fan of Laurie for several reasons. She rushed through every prenatal appointment, which…read moreshould have been a red flag. During the birth of my son she wasn't educated on managing a posterior labor and was detrimental to my having a natural birth as she pushed pitocin and an epidural. She also broke my water and did a stretch and sweep right after I told her No. She told me it was inappropriate for me to bring my newborn to my six week postpartum checkup, and that I was a "naive first time mom." I would not recommend her to anyone, she was not supportive and very condescending towards first time moms. At one of my prenatal appointments she ranted about another first time mom for coming to the hospital in labor in the middle of the night a day how the woman "didn't know what real labor was." I was expecting better of her as a midwife, but all things considered I wouldn't go with her again.
