We've waited two days to get return phone calls. They seem to be punch clock conscious, you can rarely get a nurse or appointment setter on the phone, and are often fobbed off onto someone else who then cannot help you. if you can find a good oncologist or hematologist somewhere else with efficient and kind staff, I highly recommend you do so. They have scheduled visits that were unnecessary even after a meeting that was supposed to resolve this.

I experienced long wait times, including waiting for Dr. Roy to come into the room, waiting for her to come back into the room to conduct the actual exam after she left following an initial discussion, as well as waiting for my labs to be drawn. The office also has loud music playing all throughout the office. Some of the staff have a cold demeanor. Not to mention the poor communication. Trying to get in contact via phone is impossible. The receptionist checked me in, gave me my paperwork and a cup for a urine sample. She said, if you can and need to go, please give a urine sample. I didn't know that they were going to ask for that, so I didn't need to go. At no time did they make me feel like it was something that I HAD to do. As soon as the receptionist made a copy of my DL and insurance card, she pointed me to the waiting room to have a seat, fill out my paperwork and wait to be called. I didn't even have time to complete my paperwork before I was called back. So, the waiting time wasn't very long at all. An assistant called me to a side room to collect my medical history and add my history to the computer. She also took my vitals, height and weight. She was also very nice. After she finished she escorted me to an exam room and told me that the doctor would be in soon. I'm used to waiting some time before the doctor arrives, but it wasn't that long at all. Dr. Itai Ronan was very nice and took the time to actually listen to my concerns. He asked the right questions, and I felt like he truly cared about giving me the best care possible. He recommend a medication that I didnt even think about, that may actually be better for me in the long run. We agreed to take it for a couple of months to see if it'll be the right fit. The whole experience was great! One of the best doctor visits I've had in awhile. The staff was super friendly, from the front office all the way to the person that drew my blood for my labs. The doctor was top notch, and the office was welcoming, comfortable and clean. What more could you ask for? I'm super happy that I decided to not cancel my appointment and give them a shot. Chiefly, the nursing assistant of color that takes blood pressure/weight has a HORRIBLE attitude towards me every time I visit and the minion that comes into the room with them (I'm assuming they're making notes in addition to his in case he misses something) is extremely rude when you ask her whether or not something she is recommending is covered by insurance. Other than that, I'd recommend this office.
