After more than 20 years there!!! My husband got the last appt (same issue) and the nurse practitioner (even though I was willing to pay) and was there with him l, did not need a whole separate appt time, would not even consider treating me. It is literally over my whole body. I have had terrible terrible experiences at urgent care facilities. Prime Care has steadily become less about the patient and more about the billing.

Under Dr. Robeson's care, I've always been taken care of. Let's see how this visit turned out. I was able to check in 30 minutes early since I made to drive from Norfolk. Once I was called up, they were able to weight me in (lost 9 pounds since my last visit), give a urine sample (results were good) and have my blood pressure taken (lower than my last visit). Overall, the blood results were good. Dr. Robeson, my primary care, suggested for me to start taking Mounjaro which'll help with weight loss for diabetics (me included). Of course, I'll have to incorporate exercising and changes to eating meals since it'll make myself full fast with increasing doses. So I'll have to see how the process is going this coming November for an appointment. So far, I feel fine using the product. We shall see what happens going forward. I made an appointment with this provider in late November/early December for February because they…read moreseemed to be able to fit my son in the soonest for an evaluation appointment. The day before my appointment I came in to drop off paperwork and this office informed me that they would not be honoring that appointment because they wanted to see him for a well child visit first. They did not inform me of this in the entire two month period leading up to his appointment. They even sent me parent information forms and evaluations to complete. If they had tried to contact me to make me aware of the policy we could have scheduled the appointment in that two month time period. So to recap, they violated their own policy in scheduling my appointment and then refused to honor the appointment. They also extremely wasted time that I could have had my son on the waitlist for CHKD evaluation appointments. I needed this visit to inform the IEP process for my son. Staff and provider did not seem to care that they have caused my son and I to be at a disadvantage now and they would keep his appointment even though they were the ones who made the error in not scheduling us correctly. I have decided not to transfer to this practice because if they can make such a harmful mistake at the appointment level I have no faith in the level of care and service they provide. I should have just stuck with CHKD.

Dr Baucom is a Dr very special to my family (she's seen all my sisters and now my son) so it was amazing, as always to see her and she always is full of information for us and LOVES my son...and even in his "only Mommy can hold me" phase he reached out for her to hold him today. I can not say enough good things about this office and the staff. It is clean and beautiful and warm and welcoming and they know what they're talking about.
