Plumbing problems including toilets that don't flush well and sinks that constantly drip. All shower drains are clogged. Many of the exercise guidance screens in the sequences don't work and staff report there is no plan to repair them. Multiple pieces of equipment, including treadmills, bikes and weight machines, are broken or not working at all. There are usually two staff at the front desk, on their phones, computers or reading books. They barely acknowledge patron as they enter and exit. If you mention a need they act out out and never move. The monthly fee is reasonable but they have increased the cancellation fee to $75.00. Obviously they are not using that money for maintenance.

The treadmills have been hit or miss for years now. I want to walk on a treadmill that has dividers and actually works. I used to love the concept, cleanliness, culture and layout. If your just getting into weights and working out again this place will not make you feel comfortable. The free weight room is what ultimately has changed all that was unique and great about this gym. Then you raise the locked in prices and charge people to quit after being long term customers. I will be looking for a new gym. Don't waste your money. It's just another small, dirty weight focused gym.

When I canceled my membership because of a move, I discovered that despite paying for a full month of premium Black Card services, Planet Fitness strips away those privileges immediately upon cancellation. This means I couldn't access the red light therapy or hydro massage machines I had already paid for. I feel completely cheated out of services, and it's unfair to loyal, paying members like me. If you're considering a membership, especially the Black Card upgrade, I strongly recommend getting written confirmation that you'll retain full access to all privileges through the end of your paid period. Without it, you might find yourself paying for perks you can't use, as I did. Corporate executives, please rethink this policy.
