I don't think I've ever reviewed a gas station but I HAD to leave a great review for this particular Mavericks. I was blown away by the OPTIONS....I mean WOW! They had tons of fountain drink options. There was an impressive slushy machine with more than the usual amount of choices. I got myself a coffee and it was brewed fresh before my eyes. Technically it was an Americano. There were multiple options to doctor it up. Many creamer and sweetener choices. There were 6 flavored syrups as well. I did wish there was a sugar free option. I have seen them at another Maverik I was @ in AZ recently. I was hoping yo find the same here. No luck. Oh well. The milkshake machine caught my eye. There were various candy mixes like Snickers, Butterfingers, I think Oreo & quite a few more. I wanted to take one home to my husband. I grabbed the Snickers flavor and took it to the counter. The cashier was SO nice! She didn't make me feel embarrassed for not knowing you are supposed to have the machine mix it before you leave. She politely walked me back over to the machine and showed me what to do. It was so cool! The store itself was squeaky clean bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. I did not get gas here, but there were many pumps and I think you would rarely run into having to wait in a line to get gas. All in all I loved this Maverik. The options were endless. The customer service was perfect. This was a clean and unusually enjoyable gas station experience. read more

Here's the problem, the RV spots are separated from the other pumps and I went there with my truck and trailer to fill up the two tanks that I had. Management or ownership did not change the amount of allowable fuel so it stopped me at $100. With gas prices how they are and the fact that it was an RV specific spot they should have allowed the price to be unlimited so I could fill up my tanks and not have to do multiple transactions. It's 2026 and apparently we went to the moon decades ago, but we can't figure out how to up the price on a pump to allow for fueling in one transaction. Stupid mistake. read more

My issue is with customer service and the gas pump. I go in pay $22.49 for gas and a bottle of water. I leave and throw away receipt, then I go to pump. So the pump doesn't work. Cashier fails to tell me that I need code on receipt to actually get gas. This was a complete waist of time and that was the only money I had so it looks as if I have to wait 30mins for funds to go back on my card. Never in my life have I needed a code to get gas on at Maverick.... That's was I get for trying somewhere new. read more

Much of the employees in there are absolute unprofessional. Learn some Customer skills and you see me 10 times a day. Stop being rude when asking about the code like it's something we should glue in on. Yes we know about the damn code. It's great. It's good security so happy for you guys so you're embracing that Security but lack security in so many other areas I can see since I'm a expert in it anyway my point being is that every time I go to this location I'm treated like crap all the other locations I'm treated fairly well But it's interesting. They still all have attitudes compared to the rest of the gas stations and the prices are a little bit higher, and I found, especially in the early mornings higher and nefarious activities happening in their parking lots. Thanks for the 50 Cent ice water even though every time I go in I get a hard time and charge more for it and I have to explain that your sign says it's $.50 for extra large ice water. Today 3/18 after a hard day's work I stopped by Maverik again and checked out for the new edition donuts that the manager advertised me last time. I heard from a bunch of people that this place was awesome, but never understood why. Apparently there is good food here, but I always assumed it was just like a 7-Eleven. Stopped by here one day because we needed gas and it was a lot closer than driving to Sam's Club on a busy day. I was very impressed when I walked into the store. Everything was so clean and organized! They had a lot of king size candies, all the treats were stocked up and the drink machines and food areas were super clean! Totally opposite from your usual sketchy convenience stores that are messy with sticky floors and counters. Didn't buy anything, but they really do a good job keeping the store very nice! First I walked in and I'm 6th in line, because there was only one register, because they have self checkout. So if I want to pay cash and save money, I have to be inconvenienced and wait in line. Then when it was my turn the girl at the register was still talking to the last guy, who must have been a regular. Then I needed a code to pump my gas, followed the instructions and entered the code, it said in valid see cashier. When I went back in, the same girl, skinny black girl with red braids, was like I'll come do it for you, the guy at the pump next to me was the regular from inside and as we approached my pump, she says in a snide way, you pumped your gas ok sir. She then entered the code saying it out loud, being disrespectful. It worked, I said that is what I did and it didn't work for me, she walked away ignoring me, threw my receipt away and started vaping. Worst convenience store I have ever been too, with the worst service. Definitely won't be back. read more

So these guys just might get a visit from weights and measures. I picked up a snack which had a $2.49 sign directly under it. When I got to the register it rang up $4.99. Just like every Maverik I've been in, this one is clean and the staff is friendly. This one, has a massive lot and dedicated truck/rv fuel lanes which is pretty cool. As with every Maverik there are a few picnic tables outside, covered, where you can eat whatever you buy, take a break from driving etc. This is something you just don't find at a convenience store. I appreciate the attention to detail especially when I'm traveling. Coffees good, place is clean, staff always friendly - 5 stars. read more

I don't know what it is about this gas station, but I really like what they have to offer in their shop. It may simply be because they have a frozen yogurt machine (which I haven't tried), enticing hot dogs (which I'm scared to try), and a cool milkshake maker machine (which I haven't tried yet). But I'm mesmerized by this awesome looking fun machine where you can select the thickness of your shake. Never seen that at a gas station!!!! Their snack selections are good. I like the layout, and I believe they had some beers for decent prices, but I could be wrong. Pretty good one stop shop. read more

Just started going here last week. It is very open, spacious and well lit. Counter staff is always very friendly. Without a doubt the best drink selection out there, plus they have cubed and tiny ice, which is my favorite. Whatever you're in mood for it seems to be there. Plus the cleanliness is top notch. From what I have seen though, there is NO food, which is a little weird. There's a huge hot dog station, topping bar, and what appears to be a well sized kitchen in the back. From the looks of it the place was designed to handle a full time kitchen staff, but either they didn't get their health license or couldn't sell food properly. I have read about other Maverik's having pretty good fast grab-n-go food. Oh well, can't have everything I guess. read more

I use this gas station all the time as it is the closest one to where I live. For a simple convenience store/gas station they are well-stocked. They are open 24 hours. Great staff here and conveniently located. Make a stop here every morning for coffee and sometimes on the way home to get a beer. Just be careful in the parking lot as people like to avoid the stop light at the intersection and fly through it. This a review of the 6510 S Fort Apache store only. I have come in Mon - Fri between 8:30 and 9 am in the morning for the past 2 years. Yes depending on the days sales the items to select from can be limited and that is the nature of retail that is non on demand order. Till today, in the past 2 years I have never gone into this location and there be NO hot breakfast items and fully stocked hot lunch items at 8:30 in the morning. I asked the person at the counter with id tag indicating she was the "Store Director" about the change. Turns out she is a rude and condescending person. I started to ask when did they start selling only hot lunch items at 8:30 and no breakfast items. Before I could get past the word lunch she snapped at me. "BECAUSE IT SELLS". Because of her attitude and very poor customer service skills it is a wonder she is a store director. Not because of the lack of breakfast items this morning but because the way leadership in this store treats it customers I will never shop at Maverik gas stations. read more

Great gas prices and surprisingly a great convenience store as well. I do feel their coke product prices are high unless coke has just gone up but I've gotten Powerade as 2 for $1.50? before at Terrible's or Rebel and it was more expensive here but with it being across the street from my work can't complain too much.
