It's still the same place but under a new name and New Management since Habib either got fired or arrested with his p*** and hitting on everyone's girlfriend and racial slurs. But also that area of town is not to savory for my taste. Each time I come outside I got someone running up to me asking me for the change that I got back and even when you tell him you don't got no change or you didn't buy nothing they don't believe you cuz they see you're driving a nice car. I've even had people come up and knock on the windows like they're in distress and then I roll it down a quarter way and they start telling me they need to hold a couple dollars and and they'll give it back real quick. This guy...probably the biggest asshole on two feet! He claimed Aerospaced was a fake brand of grinder and tried to charge me $59.99 for a flat grinder with no catcher by "Sharpstone" but, it was sun bleached and oddly colored. The clerk, presumably the owner, hovered over my partner and me while we were looking at the vape equipment in the cases. It made us very uncomfortable. There were other customers in the store, so why would he ignore them to watch us? What was different about us is that we're trans lesbians, so it makes me wonder. He barely speaks nor understands English and knows nothing about the products he sells. It takes forever to get anything because telling him the brand and variety of the product and even pointing to it results in being handed the wrong item from the case several times consecutively. Their vape equipment is low quality and overpriced. We bought a tank for $10 with coils that wouldn't fire even on the batteries from the same manufacturer, and leaked into my battery. We bought e-juice there and it wouldn't even wick into the coils in the tanks that they sold us there, so our wicks and coils just burned, costing us money on cleaning and replacing them. The photo posted by the owner isn't even of this store. It's Highlife Smoke Shop in Asheville, NC. Posting a photo of someone else's store and claiming it's yours is false advertising and fraud under Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 42-110b-18(a). The "Vape Department" logo belongs to another store, too. We have been there twice because we have no transportation to get to another place for our vape supplies, but now we're ordering from online shops instead because this place is worse than going without vaping for a week while we wait for shipping. My advice is to avoid this place and go to a specialty vape shop if you can; otherwise, shop online. read more
