What can't I say?! As someone who came from San Diego County, CA. I had to stop in. This is the…read morebest cigar lounge I have ever been to around the world. The ambiance is truly second to none. The staff is amazing. The selection is superb. Of course I had to get a brand specific stogie. Smoked a Grand Cathedral POPE. A great cigar and worth every penny of not more. Do your self a favor as a cigar enthusiast. Make a trip to Tampa Bay and come here!

Walk into Grand Cathedral Cigars and you don't just enter a lounge, you step into a moment…read more A former cathedral turned cigar haven, with towering wood beams overhead, stained glass catching the light, and a layout that makes you look up... then stay awhile. It's big without feeling cold. Loud without being chaotic. The music? Think 70s and 80s, just loud enough to set the mood, but not so loud you're shouting over "Free Bird" like it's last call at a dive bar. You can actually have a conversation here. That alone is worth something. The bar is fully loaded, no shortcuts. Solid whiskey lineup, cocktails done right, and a humidor that feels like it goes on forever. Whether you know cigars or just want to look like you do, you're covered. But here's the part most places miss... The people. Staff that actually wants you there. They're dialed in, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time walking through the door. And the crowd? Same vibe. Friendly, relaxed, no ego. It's not about the cigars. It's about the people. And somehow, this place gets both right

Wow! What a fantastic find! I've not been impressed like this in a long, long while. We came in…read morebecause I saw the cigars sign outside and we found that and an oasis for anyone who wants to chill and relax. The front of the store has any liquor you might ever want in very clear and clean, well-marked aisles. Towards the back on the right you'll find the humidor for the cigars. You see, behind the store of all liquors and the impressive selection of cigars there is a bar and cigar lounge. While shopping for my favorite cigars we met an amazing woman who knew of cigars and was an awesome bartender AND when Mrs me asked about Hookah, she fixed her up with a blend that she loved. All the while she was friendly and engaged. She made a fantastic cucumber mint cocktail for her and later a second. A couple of beers for me and 2 hours later we went along our way. Inside, the comfy leather club chairs were set up for maximum comfort and cigar cutters and ashtrays and torches were available. Since we also had hookah, we sat outside and got mellow under pavilions that came complete with fans and phone chargers and even bug zappers, comfortable couches and chairs that could easily fit 10 people. Along each of these were pub tables and regular tables for smaller groups. Our cigar girl/ bartender/ hookah maestro came and checked on us and chatted us up when she could. What I thought was going to be an in and out trip turned out to be one of the best surprises I've had in a while. If I'm lucky enough, I'll be in the area again and get to enjoy this treasure.

We didn't go to the cigar lounge, but it looked pretty cool in the back area, definitely want to take my husband to check it out sometime. They also sell some of our favorite local distilled spirits from Preez - so we'll be back for sure.

Tony the manager was friendly as well and we shared stories of our Jeeps! Shay was helpful in picking out a cigar and explaining some of the different selections they had. There are comfortable seats spread out with windows making it a great spot to sit and relax. We had a terrific visit!

Could Management and Ownership Leadership Please Take Notice…read more As loyal customers who truly love and support this venue, we are asking management and ownership to please give some attention to the details that have recently been overlooked. Over the past few months, particularly since some of the management changes, it feels as though the eye has not always been on the ball. These may seem like small things individually, but collectively they have a noticeable impact on the customer experience. The happy hour wine has been unavailable for more than two weeks. Bathroom toiletries and supplies have not been consistently replenished, including paper towels that went several days without being replaced. Mouthwash and cups were unavailable for weeks and were ultimately purchased and supplied by a loyal customer. We absolutely recognize that the air quality has improved substantially, and that investment is appreciated. However, on high-traffic evenings, the smoke can still become overwhelming. Could ownership please consider investing approximately another $3,000 in two additional Airpura units? It seems like a relatively modest investment that could make a significant difference in the comfort of guests, and employees. We are bringing these concerns forward because we genuinely enjoy the venue and want to continue supporting it. A little more consistent attention to the details that made this place special would go a long way. We hope management and ownership will take these observations in the spirit in which they are intended--from loyal customers who care about the venue and want to see it continue to thrive.
