There are plenty of other little stores to check out so we went ahead and parked ready to weave in-and-out of all the stores. There are a couple of other antique stores in the same area but this was my favorite. Partly because of what they had to offer... and don't be fooled by the size of the storefront... this place is packed full of goodies and it goes back farther than I had expected. But I also liked this place because of the owner who takes time to greet you and talk with you!

VB is kind of in the middle of nowhere but the Lake Geneva moms seem to have it on the radar, with good reason. They have helpful and kind staff and even measuring tapes in strategic spots to help you out, so strap on that Michael Kors handbag and get ready to SPEND! Most of this isn't my personal style but I didn't leave without a few heavenly smelling candles and a sassy greeting card. Tried to use it today and was told they won't take it anymore and that - despite the fact I received it 2 years ago - it "expired" 4 years ago??? So not only did I lose my gift card, that basically means they stole that $60. I should have tried to keep the actual card and gone to BBB but they took it away from me. I told them to their face too - I'll never come back. And I'll let others know what happened. Very bad business practice.

It was great to pull off the highway and stretch our legs for a bit. There is a neat assortment of antiques both for indoor and outdoor use. The prices are very competitive and I felt like I was getting a good deal the whole time, no over-priced junk in this place. We ended up finding a few pieces of treasure before we left to take back home with us. The owners are great. Super friendly and nice. They talk about the day rather than try to sell you their wares. She was about 20 mins late, snobbish/snotty, and didn't even due a full walk through. She walked in and saw the living/dining room, family room and stopped at kitchen. Also, make sure that you've got time to browse-there are two stories of awesome finds! Lot's of antiques, art, vintage clothing and more. Big collection of vintage cookbooks and cookware. Based on the hours and their website, the store looked like it was open to the public and I didn't realize I was tresspassing...it is not a store, it is private property.
