I went to the smoke shop on April 27, as per the sign about limiting the number of customers, I waited outside, wearing a mask as I have a compromised immune system, while the current customer was being waited on I was waved on in by the employee behind the counter, "I never go by those stupid signs anyway I don't see why we need them" I tried to stay 6 feet away from the other customer, who wasn't wearing a mask, neither was the employee nor did the employee have on gloves. I gathered my purchases, while the employee and other customer joking around and having a fun time. I waited for the other customer to leave the counter area so I could finish up my transaction. The other customer who has been touching and leaning on the counter eventually moved to the side and as I handed my card to the employee, he laughingly says as he pointed to the other customer "This is the only person I have met that had that Corona virus" I was horrified that not only did the customer not wear a mask, but the employee didn't even bother to sanitize the area he had been touching before conducting my purchase. Now I have overlooked the previous visits where this same employee has complained very verbally and loudly about people on state assistance, disability and such, and questioning the validity of the amount of tax refund amounts, not quite saying they were lying on tax returns but leaving you with the impression that people who get a decent amount back where lying about their taxes. I find it very unprofessional and tried to make my visits to the shop when he was not on duty. But unfortunately this last incident has been the breaking point, I can not support a business that flagrantly disregard disregards the health and safety of those customers. I will be ordering my supplies online as I did while the businesses where shut down for two weeks. read more
