So I recently got into the cigar smoking lifestyle (socially of course). This has become one of my favorite cigar shops. One thing I learned about a good cigar is how well the humidor is that it's kept in. I will say that their humidor is the absolute best! Not only that, their selection of cigars is the finest I ever seen! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the cigars. Oh and the prices are some of the best around. We had an opportunity to attend a cigar event yesterday and check out their ventilation. Wow, their ventilation was amazing! Better than some of the cigar lounges I have been too. They played great music, had pizza from Pizza Hut for the customers and provided water and soda as well. I'm so glad I stay close to this place. read more

Looks are deceiving! Having driven past this store for years, I was expecting it to be a typical "cigarette store." After searching Chicagoland for an exceptional cigar shop, I stopped in and was blown away. By far this store is the best in the area: Super knowledgeable staff (Charlie is the most knowledgeable person on cigars I've ever met,) a huge and eclectic selection- including many rare cigars, and Ray (I assume he's the owner) has an exceptional sense of customer service. I've been really disappointed by some well-known shops at their improper humidification. Tobacco Land is perfectly humidified; I have yet to find a dried out or stale cigar. They will not let you down with their recommendations and they want to find what you like instead of selling you what THEY like. I've sent several people to this shop who assumed the same as I did before actually going in. I've stopped searching for my "great" shop. This store is exactly what I was hoping to find and I don't need to go anywhere else. read more

Being a resident of Illinois, recently our state sales tax on tobacco went up $2. Luckily thanks to this place, only 30 miles from my home with the convenience of being right off the highway and next door to a gas station (so I can fill up before going home since gas is cheaper here too), i can justify making that drive every other week for a carton! Best part is, cigarettes here are about a dollar less than what I used to pay in dupage. Many people might think I'm spending the same in gas to get here. but when you buy a carton, it's either spend an extra $20 in Illinois for a carton or spend $10 on gas driving there and back. The workers are super friendly and helpful as well. read more

Bought a G pro Black Scale Herbal Vaporizer on August 17, and it completely conked out in September. First the mouthpiece broke, then the device would power down without heating even after a full charge. I didn't know much about vapes when I bought this item from Tobaccoland, but I've since learned that this store sells counterfeit products. The manufacturer offers a 1 yr warranty on electronic components, but the warranty was not honored because the vape is not an authentic Grenco product. I went back to Tobaccoland to complain about my vape. The manager offered a replacement, but I declined because I already knew the replacement would be counterfeit as well. The owner stood by his claim that their supplier buys directly from Grenco, yet he could not explain why a product supposedly purchased from Grenco did not have their manufacturer's 1 yr warranty. Despite Tobaccoland's no refund policy, they refunded my purchase. After my dealings with Tobaccoland, I went online and purchased an authentic GPro vaporizer directly from the Grenco Science website, and the quality is COMPLETELY different. It's much sturdier and doesn't make the cracking plastic noise like the one from Tobaccoland, the mouthpiechas a snugger fit, the battery life is at least twice as long, AND the vapor quality is much better. I could go on and on about the differences. Through a bit of research, I've learned that cracked mouthpieces are not all that uncommon for this device, but there is no excuse for the electronic breakdown after a month of regular usage. There is no doubt in my mind that the vaporizer I bought from Tobaccoland was counterfeit. I would not recommend purchasing anything of value from this establishment. read more

This place is pretty nice. I am an ex-smoker and stopped in here to check out the vaping supplies. They have a really nice selection of tanks, mods and juices. The mods and tanks however are WAY more expensive then you could find online. For instance, they have an Aspire Triton tank listed as $60. You can find that online for $35. Juice prices are good, along the lines of what you can get on the web. Prices for coils are STUPID ridiculous! You can get a 5 pack online for $15, they sell them for $7 each. I will probably be back for more juice but would love to see them carry other brands (they have space jam and cuttwood and a ton of non known brands). read more
