Adam Brown, the most chill Llama!

I had SUCH an amazing time on the Llama trek! The climb up is a bit steep and a little scary, if you're not familiar with hiking like this (like me). I'm not very fit, but I was still able to climb up with my Llama, named Adam Brown! I absolutely LOVED this trek! I have been recommending doing this to all my friends who frequent the area. If you're thinking about doing this, just do it! It was a moderate to tough hike up, but the indescribable views and chill host/tour guide make it extremely worth it!

This was one of the most enjoyable outings we ever had! Steve is a fantastic guide and an even better person! These llamas are so cute and loving. I surprised my wife with this adventure and she was sending videos and pics out until 11pm! Please don't pass up on this, I promise you won't regret it!

We had a blast hiking with the llamas! The scenery was beautiful, the llamas were friendly & Steve was a great guide. The hills were a bit steep; but the llamas didn't mind taking snack breaks so we could stop to catch our breath. We highly recommend this one of a kind outdoor experience, over most most of the commercial gimmicks in town.

We had a wonderful time. Wear good shoes for the hike! Two of my kids did not! Still wonderful and I highly recommend.

Visited for a 45 minute farm visit and was not disappointed! To begin, the drive to get here from Pigeon Forge was so beautiful! Once we arrived, we were greeted by a nice big Shepard farm dog and a nice woman and her little girl - they continued to give us a tour of the feeding/bathing/hang out area and told us about the llama's journey to get to the farm and a little about her family's history taking care of llamas and alpacas. The woman told us the names to each llama or alpaca (each was individualized and so cute) and we fed them Graham crackers (they loved them so much they surrounded us and were checking our palms for more)! Hershey was a black llama that loved to awkwardly stare at newcomers until he finally got us to head over to him and give him kisses. We bought some llama magnets for the memories and said our goodbyes. Highly recommend for a unique, fun, and wholesome experience! Llama hikes also available if you have more time and want to get additional time with these cute critters :)

Absolute the best activity in the Smoky Mountains!! We live in Knoxville and have been everywhere twice already so trust me when I say this. It was such a pleasure and the owner Steve is a passionate person who wants to make the world a better place. I kept stopping for photo and he was super patient. When i apologized to Steve for all my pictures he said "This is your hike not mine and I'm so happy to see you enjoying yourself" The Llamas where so loved and well taken care of. We almost questioned going because of some lunatic one star review saying the place was dirty. That was such a lie and what made us realize the truth before going was seeing that persons terrible reviews about hotels where his skin got a rash at the pool and restaurants where he got sick from the food. You just can't make everyone happy! We had so much fun and can't wait to go back. I've already told several friends about this place and they are so exited to go themselves.

We added this to our Smoky Mountain vacation at the last minute and we are so glad we did. We booked the shorter walk with the llamas and it was definitely worth the money. Steve really cares about his llamas. He took a lot of time to introduce them and allow us to bond and pick a llama to walk with. Three of the llamas were "retired" pros that had previously carried heavy loads to the top of Mount Leconte, named Maximus, Oscar and Curly. They were so easy to walk with and helped us climb. The fourth animal that my smaller daughter picked was a recent arrival and still being trained. Steve was very patient and helpful in assisting my daughter to walk him and she had a great successful experience. The trail was initially uphill but anyone in reasonably good health should have no issues doing the hike. You can take as many breaks as you need and go at your own pace. Wear comfortable walking shoes with good tread. The trail was also in the shade which is perfect when walking in the summer heat and humidity. Steve is very outgoing and friendly and was understanding that we underestimated how long it would take us to drive to his farm. He was not upset when we showed up a few minutes late. We just fell in love with our llamas and were sad to leave them at the end of the trek. The llamas are sweet and not at all intimidating. As a bonus, Steve's two big dogs trailed along. Allow yourself plenty of time to find the farm. We had zero cell phone coverage in the area, so I would recommend taking a copy of the directions on the website, they are accurate. Steve's driveway is unpaved but we had no issues navigating it with our small rental car. Recommend!

    Maximus is rather handsome

Very enjoyable. I took my grandchildren, and we all had a good time -- and learned a lot about llamas!

Chef's kiss. We sampled a few, and the views while snacking were straight out of a postcard--peaceful, pretty, and perfect for pretending you're in a cheese commercial. Whatever you do, don't skip the Café. It's in this gorgeous, huge old barn that's been lovingly renovated into a temple of ooey-gooey grilled cheese goodness. It's basically sacred ground for sandwich lovers. Grilled cheese is their thing, and oh boy, do they do it justice. My husband went for the Smoked Bologna, I had The Big Cheese (because... obviously), and our friends followed our lead. No regrets. These sandwiches are THICK, golden, buttery slabs of bread hugging melted cheese like it's a warm embrace from grandma. Pro tip: One whole sandwich is basically a cheesy Everest. My husband took half to go. I, on the other hand, showed no restraint. Dessert? Oh yeah. We shared a chocolate peanut butter shake (sin in a cup), and our friends had the cake batter one--because balance, right? Also, they have a super cute shop where I snagged some Tennessee jams to bring home. Gifts, I said. For others. (Probably.) It's a lovely spot--perfect for a chill picnic with family or friends... or to just sit quietly while your food coma gently sets in.
