Dark, long wooden bar full of an entertaining cast of regulars and Tracy - the bartender extraordinaire who is funny and has everyone's 'number'. She knows their story and she takes care of everyone with a laugh and sometimes a story (if she has time). So imagine my surprise when I hear several regulars ordering steak TO GO! What? So, we asked. Yep, they cook steaks once a week on Wednesday. We ordered a filet and a filet burger To Go. These guys cook a kick ass, tender, perfectly cooked steak! Better than many steak restaurants. No joke. I hate to let the cat out of the bag since the place is small and packed even on a Wednesday night, but The Corner Bar is a hoot. You don't know who you will meet but you'll have a great time. And a great steak.

UTH saloon is jam packed with history and the stories tell themselves from the many articles and relics posted on the walls. It is said that Mark Twain himself used to frequent this joint and I can see why. We really enjoyed our visit. The bartender was super kind and attentive and the spaces were unique. My favorite area is the green room type space in the back. You can even sit on the elephant for a photo op! What a great little place!
