I always told myself that I'd never write reviews on sites like this because frankly i don't have the time but that was until I went to Smooth Operations! LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE! Everything about it is just great! i love the online scheduling, i love the smell of the place..everything is awesome! after reading all the reviews i thought that this place had to be too good to be true but not at all!!! it well deserves all 5 stars for sure! i wish they offered more than 5! i haven't yet met Melanie but I have only heard great things from Jessica but I have had the honor of seeing Jessica a number of times and I just adore her! From the moment you walk in, she is just so warm and welcoming and it seems like she was born to do this job! i have never had someone seem so comfortable and be so gentle in this process! needless to say she is amazing, and i will not have anyone else remove my hair!!! Thank God for Smooth Operations!!! I have always wanted to go somewhere where they only specialize in waxing and this place is definitely as good as all their reviews!!!! i don't like going to spa's or nail salons for waxing, its all about a waxing studio!! I love the location and the office is nothing but adorable! I can't wait to return!! I had the pleasure of having Jessica wax me and my goodness is she incredible! There is just something so sweet and gentle about her, I just felt like telling her my entire life story...shes so easy to talk to and she goes out of her way to keep you comfortable! Ive never had such a painless wax, and that says alot because I am somewhat of a BABY when it comes to pain. After she was done, she took the tweezers and inspected to make sure EVERY SINGLE LAST HAIR was gone and that is awesome! So, I have had a brazilian only 2 other times but both experiences were terrible! absolutely terrible, I told myself I would never have one again until a friend of mine told me about Jessica Glantz. Seriously, there is something special about her that just puts you at ease and somehow the experience managed to be PAIN-FREE! I don't know if its the wax they use, or if its just Jessica's gentle touch and calming voice that makes the experiece delightful but whatever it was, i LOVED it! I will definitely be returning to see Jessica! Any people who are nervous AT ALL to have one of these done, fret no more and call Jessica, I guarentee you, you will be very pleased! I have been going to see Jessica for awhile now and I always said that I would write a review on yelp but I still havent so I thought today should be the day! I never usually do this kind of stuff but i strongly feel as though this is a business worth taking the time to awknoledge the wonderful work these women do! Melanie hasn't worked on me but Jessica always speaks so highly of her, so I am sure shes just as great but I have seen Jessica many times and I just adore her to pieces. Omigod! I love, love, love this place. What a wonderful undiscovered new gem. I scheduled an appointment and to my delight Melanie offers lash extensions as well. No longer will I have to travel to LA to have them applied. For anyone who's never tried them...indulge yourself and never wear mascara again. natural, long, and thick-well worth the investment. Smooth Operations is charming, intimate, and pleasant with yummy little sweets to nibble on, on the way in and out. Great products and convenient parking. Secretly, I sent my beau there as well...and though a bit squeamish at first he's since returned. I would like to say that I am VERY impressed with the business and people working at Smooth Operations. They have a GREAT staff, Melanie (the owner) is very funny and professional, which is great when you're getting that oh so "painfree" brazillian, or just a simple brow tint/wax. And her apprentice Jessica is very sweet and calming. I am not a regular waxer in life, and was at first afraid to go but Melanie makes the experience fun, relaxing, and pain free. I've only been in to get waxed twice at Smooth Operations, but I just absolutely love the place! I must admit i was disappointed when I found out the office was moving, but that was until I saw the new one! It really could not be cuter! The artwork is beautiful, the whole office is beautiful and the ladies that work there are beautiful!! Melanie has transformed my scrawny lashes with eyelash extensions. I look amazing! (yes, I really do!) My husband tells me how beautiful my eyes are all the time now. He likes the Brazilian bikini wax, too. She also introduced me to underarm waxing. I went there for full leg and bikini waxing. Melanie is nice but her work is not thorough at all. She missed a lot of hair all over my legs. Plus, she left a lot of wax on my legs. She even told me to clean up myself all the mess! That was very bad. The waxing was painful, but that's normal. read more
