She was making drinks very fast and my drink was very good. Because she was very busy some people were walking out with their drinks without paying. This made me feel sad for her. The lines to pay were very long and the cashier that checked me out did not seem very experienced and had to interrupt the cashier next to him to ask for help many times. $5 for a latte is not bad. I'd go back hopefully at a time not as busy. Cafe is only open til 3 but they closed down early because of how busy it was.

My wife and I have been to dozens of Whole Foods stores in many states. Naperville is one of the…read morebiggest, and by far the absolute WORST store. They don't even have a microwave in the eating area to warm up your food purchased on the hot bar or from the deli. This is the only store we have ever encountered this at. We had already checked out not knowing this, and had to eat all our food cold after waiting in line for 20 minutes to check out. I asked five different employees why there was no microwave, and every one said they don't know. One of the store managers was called to the front to speak to me. When I asked them, same answer, "I don't know". After further investigation, they apparently had one, then took it out during Covid, then decided to NOT put it back in because the manager of the store apparently thinks Covid is still a ongoing issue. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Covid has been over for three years now. The Naperville store is one of the largest grossing store in the midwest region, but they can't even afford to provide a $50 microwave for their customers. Guess they'd rather their customers get sick from food poisoning instead by not letting them heat up their food. I'd rather eat at McDonalds than this place. Avoid at all cost. The manager at this store should be fired.

When it comes to apple orchards, you can do the "theme park" orchards or the "actual orchard"…read moreorchards. Jonamac is definitely the theme park version. Although you can buy tickets in advance, it doesn't save you time at the orchard. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait in line with all the people buying tickets with cash. You will save a few bucks buying online, however. The wait to get in is disappointing, but understandable. Just budget that into your timeline. When you enter, you'll pass lots of kid-friendly activities. The orchard itself is very small, and the trees are tiny. When we arrived October 7, most of the trees had been pretty well picked over. There were maybe 10 rows of apples available for picking. If you're looking specifically for apples, there are better options, like the nearby Honey Hill Orchard in Waterman. Jonamac does earn decent marks for the children's activities. There's a corn bin where your kids can play and slide. There are a couple of games inside. There's a trough where you can pump water and send rubber ducks down a chute. There's a slide and a petting zoo and one of those jumping pillows. There's a cider house, but we didn't go in because the line was out the door. Food trucks roll in around noon. The crowds really swell around that time. You can also buy pumpkins We got fresh cider and donuts from the bakery shop at the front. If you have small children, Jonamac is pretty good. If you're looking for bushels and bushels of apples, you'll probably want to go somewhere else with a more robust harvest.

Review for the Bakery - Visit on Sunday, 9/21/25…read more I visit the bakery specifically to purchase baked goods. Unfortunately, I've had consistently negative experiences with one of the staff members--an older woman who works in the bakery area. This was not my first encounter with her, and while I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt, her rude and dismissive attitude has remained the same over multiple visits. Most recently, on Sunday, 9/21, her demeanor was once again unfriendly and unwelcoming. In contrast, the younger staff members are always pleasant, attentive, and helpful, which I greatly appreciate. If you're visiting the bakery, I recommend seeking assistance from the younger team members for a better experience.
