I finally got to try this place not too long ago after hearing how good they are! I'm all for supporting local businesses so we were pretty excited to try it! The shop is very small so there is limited seating. It has a lot of bright, warm colors that feel inviting, like you're visiting a friend's house. They provide you with their house tortilla chips and salsa, which was pretty tasty. It's not too hold, more of a mild salsa, so everyone can enjoy it. I also ordered the horchata, which was really good! Nice and sweet and not too watered down like some other horchatas I've tried. I got the shrimp ceviche (ceviche de camaron) and they were so good! Everything tasted so fresh with some nice size shrimp. My fiancé loved her birria tacos and they were drenched with the oil and consume. I tried a little bit of it and thought it was tasty, just a bit too overwhelming with the oil for me. I have been here several times and have ordered carryout online and ate in with my family. Its not the cheapest but it is really good. I always get steak tacos. Out of 10 visits 9 of them were great. I'm still giving 5 stars but I did have a problem last time when the girl I placed my order with in the drive thru totally got it wrong. But that happens sometimes. I recommend not leaving until you check that they gave you what you ordered. Otherwise its very clean inside and friendly staff, good service, and great food. Been here a few times now. Finally decided I better write a review. This is a small place, but the service here is great. They pay attention to their guests and are able to turn the tables quickly. I'm a stickler. I keep ordering the same thing and last night was no exception. I ordered my daughter the kids quesadilla. She is really picky, but in this case, she ate every bite. My wife and I shared the nachos with chicken appetizer, which was delicious, and the birria shredded brisket taco. My absolute favorite and this definitely didn't disappoint. We were stuffed. The only hiccup was when the server dropped off our margaritas, my wife and daughter were in the restroom so he said he would be right back. He forgot and I flagged him down to place our order. He apologized and all was good. When I asked for my check, they really pushed for me to get a desert. I refused and he brought me a check with two shots of tequila. I'm pretty certain he wanted to buy me a dessert as an apology, but since we were too full, bought me the shots instead. I'm a tequila snob and I can tell you that these were definitely not bottom shelf. Perfectly chilled and a nice end to a wonderful meal. I will be back and I highly recommend you try this place. My take on this new taco shop: a fresh, modern boutique restaurant with semi-authentic Mexican cuisine at semi-affordable prices. This is tiny place in a great location - near to the library and the town's main street. The parking lot is small and can fill up fast. You also have to be careful when walking into the building from the parking lot as you may be up against a line drive-through line en route to either the front or side entrance. Seating is open - you're welcome to sit anywhere you can (if dining in). We dine-in, and easily found an open table for 2 at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The décor is modern and cohesive. It almost felt like a chain at first, but I think they just have some solid Marketing muscle behind them and it paid off! Lots to look at and enjoy while waiting for your meal. We were provided complimentary chips and salsa and all drinks are bottled including water which you have to pay for (obs). Alcoholic beverages including margaritas are available for purchase. Nice selection of salsas including two homemade ones. I ordered vegetarian tacos and they were mediocre. Side of beans and a side of rice are also additional costs - the tacos don't come as a single priced meal. Both the beans and rice were WAY to salty. After two bites of each I had to pass. I was also hoping for refried beans not black beans. We also got a steak and chicken taco - you can have these dressed up Mexican street taco style or more America with sour cream and shredded cheese. The option is nice. We did one of each and preferred the Mexican street taco style. They have a lot of customizable options [think Chipotle bowls or burritos] on the menu. A few breakfast options as well which was nice to see. Service was friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait a long time for anything which was appreciated. Andale is a bit deceiving, it appears to be a fast-food "Taco Bell" style joint as you approach, complete with the drive up window and a limited menu with Chipotle style "build a burrito" dining. However, what makes this place different is the taste. The pros include prompt and courteous table service, incredible tasting burritos and tacos, healthy portioned and affordable ceviche and guacamole, and best of all, cold beer, margaritas, and shots of mezcal. The cons, the tortilla chips are straight from the bulk bag, the salsa tastes like it's straight front the can, and there aren't enough tables in the nicely decorated and clean restaurant to seat the demand. Overall, I'd say it is worth the visit, even though the burritos are $12, they are bien sabroso! As Taco-nator once said, "I'll Be Back"! read more

Tried this restaurant today for the first time and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered their signature dish beef stew tacos and I ordered a carne asada bowl. The portions were a good size, the prices were fair and the food was delicious. We ordered a piece of flan for dessert and it was also deliciously huge portion. When I went thru the drive thru the first time, I mentioned I finally got around to traveling to the east side of Sycamore to try them and they gave me a menu which I keep in the car. When I'm over that way, I have to stop in or drive thru and try a new menu item each time. I have never been disappointed ! All items have been fresh, prepared quickly, and are delicious. I have came to this restaurant 3 or 4 times so far and I decided to write a review because I was on the app writing a review for another restaurant already. Typically when I come here I get chicken tacos on corn tortillas street style with a side of their Mexican rice and pinto beans. Their mexican rice is a good restaurant style rice, it has nice flavor, is moist, and a decent portion size. I really like the pinto beans because they are actually pinto beans and not refried beans which makes me think they are made fresh every day. They give a healthy serving of the pinto beans with a little cheese on top and honestly I really like them, however they do verge on the salty side so for those people who are very watching their salt intake or don't like a salty flavor I would be careful when ordering the pinto beans (I personally really like them). The tacos are great, I also get a healthy and fresh serving of cilantro and red onion on top which is not too much or too little. The chicken itself is usually moist, well seasoned though maybe a little salty on some days and has a nice crisp to it. The corn tortilla are always made well and I have not had a problem with any of the meat falling out (they give you two corn tortillas per taco which is standard) though they get slightly soggy if your ordering for delivery. The chips are classical restaurant corn chips with average salsa and decent guacamole if you get it. Overall, definitely a good place if you want some quick tacos and sides, love that they have a drive through, and the wait staff is usually very friendly. However their prices are a tad bit expensive to me and sometimes they can be very busy and the inside is tiny so things can be a little cramped but they also have patio seating as well.
