A smooth stadium experience! Pro-tip, if you're using rideshare ask them if they can drop you off right outside the gate or else you'll have to walk for about 10 mins. The space was incredibly easy to navigate, gave out lots of swag, and clean. Hope to be back soon!

This was one of the smoothest processes I had entering a venue to attend a concert. It is a smaller arena, but they handled things very well. GLOWS: -There were multiple points of entry which made getting into the venue a breeze, especially because doors were opened a few minutes ahead of time. -The lines for merch, drinks, and food were quickly moving---especially if you arrived a few moments early. -The seats were very comfortable! GROWS: -The sound system was messed up at the concert due to the artist's mic being set so much lower than the background music. I don't know if it was on the artist's end or the venue's end... but it did ruin moments of the show for me. -There were not many signs around the inside of the concert that was showing. It made it difficult to get a photos --- but I know that is a part of VIP these days.

I came here for a Pelicans game while I was visiting New Orleans. From the street car it was a long walk to get to the stadium. You have to walk up different sets of stairs to get to the main entrance. Once we were in front we got through security quickly. We were seated in the upper rows but you can still see everything clearly. Zion was back finally so we got to see him in action. As with any other arena food and drinks are incredibly expensive. Be sure to bring your wallet if you plan to enjoy a meal while watching a game. It was T Shirt giveaway night so all the seats had one. Good thing we picked it up before sitting down because by the end of the first quarter everything was already taken. Afterwards getting out of the stadium was easy. There didn't seem much to do in the immediate area so you have to walk a little father to enjoy dinner or drinks after the game.

We had a great time at the Smoothie King Center on 3/18/23. We had private, secured parking.

We had a fine time at the Smoothie King Center. We went on 3/18/23 to the the Professional Bull Riders invitational. We had a fine time. We did park in a closed lot with an attendant and a state trooper at the entrance/exit. That's always nice. This photo is from section 303. I think it was a great view. The venue as well as the bathrooms were clean with plenty of staff and security. One thing to note.... fountain drinks come with no lid and no straws. The large is $8 but you get free refills.

I really do enjoy attending events here! It seems to be the go-to spot for most big concerts in NOLA now. I'll just start with my two gripes: the staff and screens. It's really a hit or miss with how friendly the staff are, in my opinion. Sometimes, they tend to rush you and have snappy attitudes. Second, during my most recent attendance, the screens were a little blurry. It was really weird because all the screens were not blurry at once. Nonetheless, I still give this place a 4.5/5! Here's why: it's has an amazing "intimate" setting. I think you get a good/decent view of the stage and pick up the audio well wherever you're seated. I personally enjoy the right 100 level; it always provides me the best view and sound. As an aside, I find this place much more comfortable--temperature wise--than the Dome and Lakefront Arena. I'm almost always cold, but I tolerate this place very well. The food and beverages are pretty good! They're moderately pricey, as expected. The Center has always been clean, in my experience. There are plenty of parking facilities nearby and convenient drop off spots in front of and near the building. This is especially good for people with disabilities. Speaking of, there is a designated ADA line for people with disabilities, and staff usually assist with getting those guests inside. Overall, great venue!

I came here for a game over spring break with my family and it was amazing! But there were some things that definitely could be improved on. 1. More ADA accessibility. I have epilepsy so being up high doesn't do well for me so I had to relocate seats. Half of my family was in their original seats whilst my mom and I were thankfully down in the 100 section. It took some time for them to consider moving us to a different location. But overall besides that I had a good time!

Over the past two weeks we have had two very different experiences at Smoothie King, both were great. First tickets we won in a raffle and were court side. Wow, such an amazing experience. We got there early and went through the special court side door into the club were we were treated to all you can eat and drink. The club stays open through the game so you never need to purchase concessions. The seats themselves were super comfortable and oh so close to the action, a true experience I will never forget. Last night we went again but with upper level seats we paid for. Sure we were pretty high up but we could still see everything going on the court clearly. I only give 4 stars because the food and drink are a little too expensive and meh, popcorn had been sitting out for a while and the pretzel was cold and undercooked. Beer is almost 11 dollars which is crazy. We will go back I love the Pelicans but we will make sure and eat before hand.

My husband and I had an amazing experience last night at the Pels and Jazz game! Paid for courtside seats, received a vip experience. Separate entrance, Free food, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks, free tee, great seats next to the Pels bench. The bathrooms were clean, love the faucet dryer combo, no a-holes(this was a plus). This place has top notch security that kept all of us safe. Parking at the dome is very convient, if you have a handi lic just let the cashier know so you can stay on the first floor. If you can walk it save it for those that can't. There is a place by the front where you can be dropped off and then park for those with wheelchairs or special needs.

Pretty great arena. I enjoyed watching my first Pelicans game recently and was impressed on how well kept this place is. The staff are very knowledgeable in their job and quite friendly. Definitely coming back for more games or even see a show!

So we went to the Smoothie King Center to check out a Pelicans game! It was just a short walk from our hotel so we didn't have to fight with traffic. They had the security checkpoints outside so that made the process easy. Once inside I was pleased surprised with the set up of the facility. We had great seats so that made the experience even better! I advise avoiding the pretzels if you get food from the concession stands because they were so crappy that we returned them. Even with that slight hiccup it didn't ruin our experience. After the game we checked out the clothing and souvenir shop and they had a pretty big variety.

This is a great arena with a more intimate feel. Don't get me wrong, it's big, but not as big as our Superdome. I also like that it's fairly easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and helpful inside. Lots of clean restrooms, too. I'm going to have to hang onto a star for the high price of the food and the fact that there were no employees outside directing patrons after my most recent trip. It was late, I needed a cab, and there was no one to help steer me in the right direction.

Does the air conditioning make it super cold inside or is it safe to wear a short sleeved shirt without freezing?

Bring a light jacket, I had on sleeveless and I was freezing in there.

However, the Saints did win Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 (2009 season). Today, there are still a dozen active NFL franchises without a Super Bowl win. Sean Payton was the head coach responsible for most of New Orleans' success. He led the team to nine postseason appearances in 15 seasons (2006-2011, 2013-2021). Seven times, the Saints finished atop the NFC South. Also, Payton never finished a single season more than one game below .500. Needless to say, with that 2010 Super Bowl win, he was a successful coach. Of course, the black eye on Payton's career was "Bountygate." From 2009 to 2011, Saints players were paid money to intentionally injure opposing players. This time period included the championship season. Ultimately, for his part in the under-the-table bounty system, the NFL suspended Payton for the entire 2012 season. He also had to forfeit some salary. Sean Payton and Drew Brees were like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, very successful coach-quarterback combos. Brees was the Super Bowl XLIV MVP and he also won two NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards (2008 and 2011 seasons). Payton won NFL Coach of the Year his first year in New Orleans (2006). Wide receiver Michael Thomas was another standout player for Payton. He led the league in receptions for the 2018 and 2019 seasons and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. Brees announced his retirement in March 2021. Payton resigned in January 2022. The 2010 Super Bowl victory was an impressive one over regular-season-MVP Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints won, 31-17. The Colts were coached by Jim Caldwell. Caldwell used to coach one of my favorite college teams, Wake Forest. He coached the Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from 1993 to 2000. Finally, I can't write a Yelp review about the New Orleans Saints without mentioning their oldest rival, my favorite NFL team, the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons and Saints have been rivals since 1967. The series has been close with the Falcons leading the Saints, all-time, 54-52 (at the time of writing this review). I've listened to Atlanta sports talk radio on a regular basis over the past 20-plus years and have heard my fair share of Falcons-Saints game coverage and analysis. While the Falcons have been to one more Super Bowl (two appearances) than the Saints (one appearance), the Saints are the only team between the two to have won it.

The city was looking for any hope they could find and they found it in a block punt by safety Steve Gleason, in the first quarter, with the game scoreless at that point, that changed the tide of the game. This statue memorializes that moment. I happened to be there for that game and it was electric. No one was beating the Saints that night. The statue, which was dedicated in 2012, actually consist of two individual sculptures each weighing 800 pounds and standing seven-and-a-half feet tall. One statue is of Atlanta punter Michael Koenen punting the ball and the other is of Gleason blocking the punt. The sculptures are mounted on granite stanchions that measure 10 feet long by four feet wide by six feet tall, putting the statue with the base at 13 feet tall. The statue was commissioned by Saints' Owner the late Tom Benson. Benson tapped sculptor Brian Hanlon to create it. During the dedication ceremony, Beson said, "This statue is symbolic of the Rebirth of our city, our region, our home, our team. This statue reminds us of a cherished night and one of the most amazing plays in the proud history of this franchise. It will be here for everyone to view coming into, out of or past the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to see and rekindle the feelings we shared that evening. This statue will be an everlasting tribute to the spirit of the 'Rebirth' legacy and what it stands for and of Steve's lasting impact on the lives he has helped touch and inspire." The statue is located on the southwest Plaza Level of the Superdome and is hard to miss. Don't worry, the Superdome plaza level is a circle, so you can't get lost. Just keep walking and the same direction and you will eventually end up where either you intended to go, or where you started. This is a very nice and detailed sculpture that stands as a symbol or rebirth for the city and Mr. Benson intended it to. I am not a Saints fan, but this is one of the iconic moments not only in the Saint's history, but the history of the NFL. This is definitely worth a visit, even if you are not attending a football game or event at the Dome. There is lots of parking options to visit the plaza. You have metered street parking, paid parking lots and paid garages all within a short walk. If you are just coming to see the statue, this will probably be a short visit and you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other wonderful attractions in the area, such as the Cancer Survivor Plaza, to maximize your time and trip.
