Came here for the first time with my kids. We honestly thought this was another Jamba Juice-like store because we were craving some smoothies, but it turned out to be more than that lol. We walked in and had to think twice because it felt like you walked into GNC or some kind of fitness nutritional store. They sell protein powder, energy drinks and bars, etc. on top of smoothies that are design for your specific needs such as muscle building, recovery, vegan plant based, etc. We ordered the Angel Food (geared towards a strawberry smoothie and really delicious too) and the Apple Kiwi Kale (more on the apple juice tasting, but also very flavorful and delicious). We will definitely be back to try the other flavors. They have a huge menu with so much delicious sounding choices. It's a bit pricey for a drink in general, but I think it's worth it when it comes to these types of healthy drinks and the size of the cups are huge. Literally, a meal in itself. They didn't have my order ready even though I had ordered and paid ahead on the app. They didn't even know where the order went. The workers made the order for me while I waited in-store, and they tried to give me what looked like vomit in a cup. Look at the pictures. No smoothie should ever look like that. It looked truly inedible and I was not about to bring it home. After some prodding, the girl at the counter remade the order. With some attitude, but she did remake it. read more

How can you mess up a smoothie so bad. It was the worst tasting smoothie I ever had. I took one sip and straight to the trash it went. I can't even let you try and make up for that. I waited 30 minutes in the drive through for one small smoothie. Once I got to the window, there were 6-7 cars behind me. The girl was very rude at the window as if I had done her a favor by purchasing a smoothie from there. Very unprofessional and unlike that location. She handed me the smoothie with a dirogatory look. Smoothie King is delicious and the smoothies always make my day. However, today I had a bit of a negative experience at Smoothie King... The employee talked me into getting a medium because it was $5 Friday. I knew I would not finish it and didn't want to waste it but she explained to me that it was almost the same price as a small so I went for it. When I got to the window they charged me $6.50 and I know it's only $1.50 more but as a struggling college student I am a bit annoyed. Please don't say it's $5 Friday and charge more than that. Maybe 2/25 smoothies on the menu are actually tasty. The service is decent. The prices are outrageous. I see old people walking in and buying a jar of protein powder for $100 when they can get THE SAME JAR at HEB behind them for $35. I kid you not, thats the discrepancy.
