My son ordered the scallops and to say they were gritty was an understatement. And the service...well when we could flag our waitress down we got service. Otherwise she was nowhere to be found. My husband flagged down another waitress after we had been sitting there for 15 minutes without any water or drinks. We also had to flag her down for the check. Considering the price tag for the night, I expected the service to be better.

Greater was very apologetic for not sitting us right away but told us a 5 -10 minute wait would help them better serve us. Well said and kitchen thanks you for not stacking tables. You can tell they have well trained staff. They kept up with the business. You could tell the kitchen expo was on point because everything came out together hot and freshly garnished. Well orchestrated firing, plating, and serving. We enjoyed everything but especially the appetizers (fried green tomatoes and calamari). Of course one person had to get the chicken fried steak. I had the salmon....we finished off everything it was so good.

The only complaint you will hear from me is simply that it was freezing in there. It's January and we had just had the big ice freeze, but with that being said they couldn't keep it warm and we wound up leaving our jackets on and asking for hot water just so we could warm our hands. I had an apple mimosa and a lavender latte. Both were amazing. I love that I can come in and order alcohol in the morning with my breakfast. I also ordered the spuds deluxe. I got my hash browns crispy and my eggs over hard. I also got them with ham and fresh jalapeños. They were everything I wanted. Our server was very professional and checked on us several times throughout the meal refilling our coffee and water. Despite the freezing weather we will be back. Definitely give it a try if you are wanting a nice breakfast with lots of options. Next time I'm gonna try the habanero pork belly fried rice. Our friend got it and it smelled so good! Not to mention he said it was delicious and ate all of it. No tastes for anyone. Ha ha

An older woman wearing a purple polo was yelling from the kitchen at one of the servers. She was so harsh that the server ended up crying, which was heartbreaking and incredibly unprofessional to witness as a customer. The most disturbing part of our visit was when a roach crawled across our table while we were eating. A woman with short hair and glasses, who identified herself as a manager, came over, saw the roach herself, and offered me a discount on my shrimp and grits. She also told me they've been battling roaches because the business next door had them and that they've been placing traps behind all of the coolers. Hearing that while trying to eat completely ruined my appetite. To make matters worse, I watched cooks come out of the restroom still wearing their aprons, which is a major food safety concern. Every time the kitchen doors opened, I could see into the kitchen, and I never saw anyone wearing gloves while handling food. Between the employee being yelled at until she cried, the roach on our table, the manager discussing an ongoing roach problem, and the food safety concerns, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I won't be returning.

It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won't be returning.
