I was super disappointed looking at the reviews because I've never had a negative experience and I come to this location at least 3-4 times a month. I've never had a bad experience other than the smoothie being too icy and not enough flavor. Last time Luciana helped me and she was so kind. She even made a great substitution recommendation of a smoothie that they no longer have. My faves are the Angel Food, Angel Food Slim, and the The Recovery Activator Strawberry Banana. They have small health conscious snacks. If you're craving something fresh then you can try their new açaí bowls. I wish they stayed open till 10! They close at 9pm. read more

I've been on a smoothie obsession for over a month now so I decided to try the Smoothie King only to be disappointed; mind you, with this location. *Location -- Old-looking, dingy and visually unkept. *Service -- Not even a "Welcome to...". I was greeted by 2 teenage girls more interested in what was going on with their cellphones than taking care of their only customer -- me; all while expecting a tip..! *Product - Ordered -- While I was looking at the possibility of smoothie choices and after deciding on a strawberry/mango one, I asked one of the girls if I had chosen a "good smoothie". She replied a vague, "yeah..!".. The smoothie was done behind a screen so I don't know exactly what they put into it or how sanitary their service products are. Final result -- The smoothie tasted like a frozen gelato that I could have purchased at Publix. Not what I was expecting...! My 20oz (smallest) cup was only consumed less than 1/4 of the way before I decided to throw it away simply because it wasn't worth the calories and the thought of having a dirty-made beverage grossed me out. Customer service is pretty much non-existent at this location! They have a bunch of teenagers working there. A lot of times when I come in, there is no employee there and I have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If there is someone, they are usually on their phone or chatting. Still, they somehow always expect a tip (only way to really avoid any akwardness is to pay cash as they give you a receipt that you have to give them back where you fill out the tip). I used to come here quite often simply because I liked their lean protein vanilla shake (which is easy to make) and the location is on my way to work. But I have seen other customers complain that their order wasn't right. They sell a ton of overpriced protein bars and snacks. Save yourself the money and go to Publix or order them online. read more

My very first visit, I was given a compliment on how nice my suit and tie ensemble was. Wow! That really made my day and made me smile. I was in the area of this Smoothie King location today so I decided to go to get my usual (Strawberry X-Treme)... well, I won't be returning whenever I am this area again. Why? Because unlike every other Smoothie King location I've visited and ordered this same smoothie, today's smoothie had such few (I counted approximately four tiny or small) strawberries that instead of it being its usual dark red color, it was more like pink. It also tasted much sweeter. I suspect that was because of the great amount of juice (papaya?) I saw the girl pour into the blender's jar. It's supposed to have a lot of strawberries, it's even in the name! This smoothie at this particular location should be renamed to "Juice & Ice X-treme W/ Only A Few Strawberries! read more

Smoothies are always good and service for the most part is fine but today the smoothie was fine (thankfully) but one particular member of the staff lacked complete professionalism and was quite disrespectful. As soon as I walk in, the girl screamed at the top of her lungs "not it! I've done everything today!" Several times while sitting on the counter. So now I see they hire employees that think they deserve breaks from doing their job just because they've done some of it. The other young lady there was kind enough to get up from her beach chair behind the counter and take my order. Upon leaving the same little disrespectful girl who thought it was ok to keep yelling at the top of her lungs said something about leaving a tip. She didn't help whatsoever on making this smoothie, why the hell are you asking for a tip? Get it together smoothie king, you just lost a customer who frequents your store due to hiring rude lazy employees. Show some pride in who you hire and how your franchise is run. Your store also had a bunch of garbage behind the far end order side of the store too. I walked in at 8:30am on a Saturday. Needless to say, the guy spoke English well, he attended me right away and he made my drink exactly the way it was suppose to be.
