Horrendous experience from start to finish. It was only one person in the drive thru when i arrived but i decided to go in to order. Every employee including the "manager" was in the back talking laughing as if they were on a vacation together as a family. The customer service was poor--staff were dismissive, unprofessional, and made no effort to accommodate basic requests. The food quality looked horrible from looking at the fruit station. Unclean bins, Lack of fresh fruit & cross contamination. Even more concerning, I witnessed unsanitary practices in the kitchen area that are out of health and safety standards for our state. I chose not to order anything. Random but this also happened...there was a creepy truck delivery man who I initially thought was loitering or homeless outside the restaurant, trying to intimidate me by stepping in front of me and my car while i was walking back to it.. I was not in his way nor was my car in his way, his trucks way nor was my car parked illegally. when I arrived and left the Smoothie King he behaved in those ways..creating an uncomfortable and unsafe environment like the majority of public places in this area. The service here absolutely sucks they literally never have any. Anytime I come here they never have anybody working the servicing here absolutely sucks. Service... Service... Service... I can not say this enough needs some extra attention. It's really unfortunate that this smoothie king is so strategically located for business but lacks premium service. You really can not go wrong with a smoothie as far as food but the service atmosphere definitely takes away the experience. I rather go to the peachtree city or up north just so I don't have to deal with the terrible service. I normally go through the drive thru and I have seen the lack of urgency or service component but it is on my way to work so I typically just deal with it by leaving enough time ahead and love smoothie king. As a frequent patron, I can say there are two staff members that are constantly pleasant and look as if they want to work and enjoy their job. Today, I decided to give the inside a try for the second time. I believe I have cracked the code for why service in the drive thru takes so long. It is not the lack of individuals working because there were at least 8 but they were standing around and playing. I was honestly shocked and really disappointed because I love to see young people working especially as team leads but there was a lack of professionalism in the present of customers and lack of courtesy for customers being present while playing or joking around. I waited 10 minutes inside for my small smoothie ( no additional customers were inside) while watching service teams standing around and the team lead joking about assignments for the day until finally the cashier asked if anyone was going to make my smoothie. This was a very sad situation to watch because I was thinking wow this is the brand of this location. I would definitely suggest some training. My smoothie ordered at 1:03 but I waited for 10 minutes in line with no one else in the store. Their service screen for orders was in the red the whole time without there being a sense of urgency to get orders out and finished. I definitely suggest the Store Owner take a look at the film to assess how to provide a better customer experience of their store. I wish I had a more positive feedback and review. read more

Love, love , love this new location. Even though it's just across from the old location, it's now so bright and clean. Everyone is so polite and friendly. However I did have a problem last night (Nov 27). I made sure I checked the website before traveling with my 93 yr old mom from Hwy 29 for an after dinner dessert but it was closed before 7. I guess there wasn't enough traffic to justify staying open, but it would've been nice if the sign was turned off so I could've just continued on my way without pulling into the parking lot. read more

Worst smoothie king I've ever been to. Disappoints everytime, I only keep coming back because of convenience but it's a waste of time everytime. From always getting the orders wrong, not knowing how to count change and the attitudes of the employees are the WORST. Re making our smoothies bc it was so chunky just for the new one to still be chunky. they hire these young kids (seems like) who are just slow and careless. This is my absolute favorite place to go to in the morning and I literally go EVERY morning!!!!!!!! My favorite is the Caribbean Way add (extra) strawberries, mangoes and pineapples! Went there on Tues evening, May 28, 2024. The girl at the window was short with me and acted like she was frustrated with me when I questioned about the smoothie. When I drove up to the window I was overcome by a strong smell of cleaner and fruit. I got my smoothie and it was a little off to me but I blew it off. Today is Saturday and I have been vomiting with diarrhea, chills and low grade fever since late Tues night. I cannot definitely say I got food poisoning from Smoothie King but it is the only thing different that I consumed within the prior few days from my husband, who is doing fine. Meh...this Smoothie King has some issues. I've come here a few times and never really had any problems, however, my last visits have been horrible. There must be a change in management. The employees look unhappy as ever and they act like they don't want to be there. My latest visit consisted of watching flies all around the store...they were dead on the tables and flying all around the area where the blenders are...the staff looked unbothered. All the times I have visited Georgia I have sought out Smoothie King. I enjoy the various smoothies and usually, the friendly staff. Moving to the Fayetteville area, it goes without saying that I couldn't wait to come to this location. Today, it was my two children and I looking for some cold goodness on this beautiful day. To begin, I wanted to go through drive thru, which was not functional. When I pulled up three high school aged kids were standing at the speaker box with the cadres open, directing me to go inside and order or pull up to the window. No big deal. Now once inside, it was one young lady working and two other young men floating around the store. We received a quiet greeting and I asked for a couple moments to review the menu. I almost felt rushed or maybe I wasn't reading fast enough. The young lady steps in my line of sight "Are you ready to order now?". Welp, I could have swore I would let you know, but hey.... Anyhow, we got three smoothies and the cost would have concluded on a good note until my Sun had to use the restroom. Now at this point all the kids are inside, toggling on phones or simply standing around. My 6 y/o proceeds into the bathroom and hesitates "Ma, the floor is all wet". Now you would think the next move would have been for a paid employee to let us know why the floor was wet or at least put up a caution sign stating the floor was wet. None of the above. Actually all five turned around and looked in the direction of the bathroom and proceeded to continue with they were doing. Frustrated as all get out... I stated "Is there something wrong with y'alls restroom?". One gal, "Oh we just mopped".... I WALKED TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE, PICKED UP THE CAUTION SIGN AND PUT IT IN FRIN THE RESTROOM DOOR. I really enjoy this Smoothie King and it was gotten much better over the past few years. The manager appears to be diligent. My smoothies are good, always order with no sugar, Green Tea Tango. I am a big fan of Smoothie King especially on Friday's. Me, my husband and son went through the drive through on hopes on getting a smoothie. The attendant took our order. While waiting for our smoothie the attendant got in to a verbal altercation with the car in front of us to the point where they were cursing at each other and the attendant was banging the door on the drive thru window. Once we got to the window, we were not acknowledged and she steped away from the window to speak to her co-worker about the incident. From that time, we proceeded to drive off because we felt uncomfortable. Her actions were unprofessional. There is no signage in the drive thru indicating that the 32 oz is $5 on Fridays, and when you order they tell you to pull forward for your total which seems odd. While the drive thru is nice the post menu is always out of date so figuring out what you may take some guess work as some items are no longer served or even carried anymore. The shakes are made to order so if your not the first person in line plan to wait as the drive thru spacing only allows two current orders to be placed so they can't process additional shakes like they could if you walked in. This creates a decent wait if you arrive with more than two cars at the window. Despite the detractors the shakes are well made if somewhat all taste the same depending on what additives ya add. Price wise it is expensive for a regular habit IMO but to each their own. read more

I visit this place almost daily, they have recently moved their special promotion day from Monday to Friday.
