The smoothies were fine, but tbh the service was a little lacking. Last time I was there which was about a week ago the employee working the register didn't even acknowledge me. I understand there was about two or three people waiting for smoothies to be made, but she could have at least acknowledged my presence with a "hello" or "I'll take your order in a minute" instead she just left me standing at the register for five minutes while they completed everyone's smoothies in silence. Then when it was finally time for her to take my order she didn't even make eye contact with me, instead she sat there looking at her phone !!! At the register in front of me for a solid 30 seconds just scrolling on her phone eventually looking up and saying, "you can order now".....it didn't feel welcoming or nice at all. I got food poisoning at the Smoothie King on Skibo Rd in Fayetteville NC back during the first of July 2015 and it's now the end of August 2025. I observed a worker pick something up off the floor and continue making food items. I spoke with the manager and district manager about this . They apologize and promise to mail coupons to me to get me to continue business. As of today August 23, I have not received anything . The thing about it is I didn't ask for the coupons, they offered them to me.. I would not recommend this store. read more

Usually a pretty standard smoothie king with consistent smoothies and friendly workers. Today, there was one guy working the shop. When we walked in, the door had been propped open and the store had the distinct smell of pot. We picked up our smoothies and left, not wanting to spend any more time than needed in the store. Smoothie King hands down to me has the best smoothie's in town. They have many different smoothies to choose from and depending on the time that you go to here the wait could be 20 minutes or 5 minutes. All smoothies are made to order, but they are definitely very pricey. I normally get the Mango Pineapple Greek Yogurt adding Kiwi. For the most part they are known for "healthy" smoothies so not your typically sweet tooth killer. Smoothies are good, but every seems to make them different at times, so the taste you crave can be a hit or miss. But at this location I have yet to be disappointed. $5friday is the BEST time to go, $5 medium smoothies is the BEST way to go since a small on a regular day can run about $7. Then, they didn't print out my ticket so no smoothie got made at all. I wish I could give zero stars. But let me start by stating a relevant fact - I am a strict vegan (whole food, plant based). So, let me start: I visited store #1449 (Skibo Road, Fayetteville, NC) on Friday, Feb 21 while visiting for my nieces 21st birthday. My family, including my husband, have grown to love $5 Fridays so we went to this location. I was pleased to see Smoothie King had some vegan options. I told the cashier I was a strict vegan and she offered to place my smoothie in an allergy container to ensure no dairy or other products made its way into my drink. Unfortunately, She forgot to alert the others and my drink wasn't placed in the container. The young woman making the drink said she did not know but she would get someone to make it correctly. No big deal I thought - everyone makes mistakes. She spoke to a young woman who we later found out to be the manager (Shawna Mohler). After 10 minutes, and everyone else already drinking their smoothies, I asked if my smoothie was being made in the back or somewhere else. The same young woman seemed frustrated that no one had brought her the drink. She again stopped making drinks and went back to the same manager (Shawna) and asked for the drink and even was willing to make it herself. After 5 or 8 more minutes, we saw that shawna and another young woman were STILL just talking and walking around but no one was making the drink. So, my husband finally asked the young woman making the drinks to get the manager. Shawna came over and we asked if someone was making the drink. She said "well I am about to make the drink now" very rudely. I told her that we have been waiting and this was inappropriate. She laughed and said "well I said I am about to make the drink." I leaned over to her to avoid letting other patrons get involved and said "as the manager, it would've been better for you to apologize for the inconvenience or to try to make this right." She laughed again. Then I said "that's ok, I'm going back to the cashier." Shawna walked to the cash register and I said I would like my money back. She then said no she couldn't give me my money back. I said again, I want my money back. And she repeated and said no she could not do that. I said "I don't want the drink anymore because you have been beyond disrespectful and rude without an apology or any thought of trying to make this right." Shawna then said "ok, because I cannot give you a free drink." That's when I laughed and handed her the receipt because this felt like it could not possibly be happening. So, as a vegan who yelps and blogs about experiences outside of "vegan" establishments, I have to caution other vegans about visiting Smoothie King because they may be treated like a problem child because they need or ask for treatment as someone with an allergy. We should all be treated fairly, kindly and respectfully when visiting any establishment no matter our preferences, allergies or lifestyle choices. I hope Smoothie King, nationally and this Skibo Road franchise, trains staff to properly serve vegan patrons just as they would those with diagnosed allergies and those with none. read more

At least it was, until after waiting for 20 minutes I approached the register to remind the team they needed to prepare my smoothies. It wasn't busy at all, and they had plenty of employees standing around. The employees are so nice but had no idea what a chia seed was, I've never been to a smoothie place that didn't have a list of supplements and super foods you can have added in for a few cents more. I like the options they have but wish there were more supplements. Also, today when I went back for a second time, my smoothie was not even close to being blended all the way. My family and I have been a faithful customer at least getting smoothies 3 to 4 times a week (family orders) and the customer service good. I have went to both locations during posted business and arrive store is close it last happened on Sunday April 25,2021 at 7:16 and the store closes at 8:00. On April 29, I was able to get (Ramsey). However I was the last customer at 8:45 and she locked the door at 8:45 It which the hours say 9:00. A month ago both stores were closed due to staff training. Ok staff training should be done at 8:00am not during business hours. I understand having relax hours for mom and pop stores but large restaurants are held to a higher standard and predictable hours is one of them. When I asked one of the women behind the counter about my smoothie she said "umm" and then turned away and ignored me. I asked a second employee who seemed really confused before the first employee told him "you threw that ticket away". He walked off into the back without explaining what was going on so I went back to the counter and asked for my money back. Manager came out and gave me a refund. Smoothie king has many varieties to choose from. You can get smoothies with protein in it, smoothies that are good for your skin, and also something that just taste fruity and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you recommendations if you aren't too sure on what to get. The only downside about it is that it's quite on the expensive side, but overall I was pleased with all the smoothies that I have tried here. read more

I was SO EXCITED when I heard a Smoothie King was coming to Fayetteville!! When my husband and I moved here, we were baffled that there wasn't a SK here because we knew it would always be hopping with military folks wanting their protein smoothies or a healthy alternative to fast food. When Tropical Smoothie opened on Ramsey, I was hoping it would measure up to SK but unfortunately it doesn't. I have gone to SK every week since it opened!!
