This location is good most of the time. However today when i ordered a coconut bowl you can immediately tell that the pineapple they gave me was canned. super watery and ruined the flavor of the bowl. since when do they use canned anyways?? aren't they supposed to always use fresh, real fruit? anyway the blueberries and strawberries also tasted like they had gone bad. super disappointing seeing as how it's almost a $15 bowl. read more

Customer service was atrocious. I asked three times if they can sub protein powder with bananas the girl with a big attitude said yes thats fine. When they rang me up they charged an additional 2-3 $ for not even a full banana WITHOUT telling me that it costs more to get a substitution. Also isnt protein powder more expensive than a quarter of a banana inside if a smoothie? When I said I dont want the bananas to just keep the protein powder because i didnt want to pay 10$ for a small smoothie she rolled her eyes and the whole staff had an attitude. Advice to the girl behind the counter next time tell customers any additional price up charge to see if theyre ok with it before just charging them. Dont come here save yourself the trip and/or find a different smoothie spot. read more

The service here is pretty unacceptable. One of the employees did not know about the special they run where you can buy 2 enhancers and get one free. The overall ambiance is the employees may feel bored or disinterested and it comes off in the product presented. They're constantly talking about the personal products and that might be why they're not educated on the deals they're supposed to be serving to customers. read more

Smoothie King on Fowler, what can I say? Place is always clean and the shelves of merch are always fully stocked. The front door is deceiving because there is a lockbox on it so you think the place is being sold (it's not). Staff is friendly with a "welcome" when you walk in and if you are unsure about a product, you can ask questions or have more time to look at the reader board. They have a (not so) secret menu of smoothies, so if you want something new, ask to see that menu. Some days, the shifts have one person behind the counter, and if the place has more than 3 customers, expect to wait a while. Prices for the smoothies can be a bit steep in the wallet if you get any of the larger sizes plus add ons, but if that's your thing, go for it. On the other hand, use the app to gain points and rewards (dollar off order or percentage off if you buy a specific item). Free upsize Fridays, be warned: this place can get PACKED around lunch time, so choose your hours wisely or when you stop in. This goes for the above mentioned staff shortage. I return because it's close to my job. I have not been to the College Parkway location in a few years, but the franchise owner for Fowler St is now the new owner of College Parkway. read more

I was told this was a great place to go, always clean, staff always very helpful and polite but this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant, the staff members were using profane language towards each other. They got my order wrong twice, and the lobby was messy with trash on the floor. I will never be back. read more

Yum! This is so refreshing. Definitely not the healthiest smoothie shop given all the added sugars, but in a bind it works. The menu is really hard to read, but the girls are so nice and helpful. Just give them a gander of what you're in the mood for. read more

I like smoothie king if I am in this area. They have a great variety of smoothies as well as other healthy/fitness related products. Last time I went I had the Daily Warrior which has Bananas, Wild Blueberries, Peanut Butter, Blueberry Juice blend, dates, Organic Spinach, Almonds & Stevia based sweetener. It's very caloric so I only had the 20oz (660 calories). I don't add boosters because it can get very pricey. Overall, a good place for shakes, the service is great and fast! read more

I am this location at least 4 days a week, I order on my way to my office downtown. Today I was in shock at the attitude of the young lady who was making my call ahead pre-ordered smoothie. It was crowded and she asked me my name, I told her and she said we are making it now... my response was wow to which she replied aggravated "what?" I said I order that close to an hour ago.... she mumbled something... make the smoothie and slammed it on the counter.... Customer Service is a thing of the past I guess? We got our food and drinks all happy and we were extremely surprised when it tasted absolutely awful! The smoothie tasted like nothing and the fruits just tasted bad in general. They have a wide selection of smoothies for all different diet types. I wanted a plain ol sweet fruit smoothie. The one I wanted had whey protein in it so I asked if I could sub It out for something else which they said they can't do it would have to cost extra. Jamba Juice subs almost anything that is relative in cost. Next time I will just get jamba. Two stars because the smoothie is alright but something I could've made at home and they didn't even pour out everything in the blender which means it wasn't made correctly. read more

If I could give zero stars I honestly would. Came into the location where the music was blasting, it was almost like I was entering a club. I ordered my usual smoothie. The smoothie was not completely blended to the point where I was literally chewing on all of the ingredients of the smoothie. I asked to have it remade; the girl who seemed to be the higher up had an attitude and began to tell me the pineapples were frozen so the drinks aren't coming out right. Why not think to share that information up front. She then started talking under her breath to the co worker and was just rude overall. Okay so she remakes the smoothie and made me pay more because she made too much. Still just going with the flow, I pay her the .28 and I get in return two cups of what seemed to be a watered down smoothie. To avoid confrontation I had to literally just throw them away and walk out. I will never come back to this location again and I would highly suggest probably going to another local smoothie shop to at least get a pleasant customer experience. One review? That's it? Cmon now. AND it was a review from a person that doesn't like the way they taste....yet has gone more than once? cmon. This smoothie king runs like all smoothie kings. It was clean. It was small. It had like one or two young kids making smoothies with some catchy song in the background. I went in today at like 8:30am to get a morning smoothie because I was running late for work and there was maybe 2 people in front of me. The smoothie maker was able to bang out those smoothies real quick and knew her stuff. I stupidly purchased a Quest bar as well and this is my only gripe. It was close to $4 for a Quest bar. I've never seen them for over $2 anywhere! wow. What a mark up! I got the small Vanilla Hulk and it was tasty. Nothing wrong with it and no...it didn't taste weird. If you've been to a smoothie king before and liked it then this one won't let you down. I'll be back. read more

Great shakes lots of variety. You can add probiotics, fiber, vitamins. Really unlimited choices. What I love about the place is I can get my fill on the shakes in addition to purchasing my multi vitamins in the same place. There is also an app you can download to receive discounts. In addition to purchasing a discount card if you choose. And if you decide to hang out on the benches attached to the smoothie king you can pick up the free wifi from Starbucks next door. The smoothies were good but the service was absolutely awful. I went in to grab my husband and I smoothies and take him one to work.. I ordered two mediums spending around $20. Whenever they were about to put my husbands smoothie into a plastic cup I asked for a styrofoam cup because of having to travel a distance before I gave him his smoothie. Needless to say they refused to give me a styrofoam cup and told me if I wanted one I needed to buy a large smoothie. I asked if I could purchase just the cup and they said no. I asked if I could pay a difference between the two smoothies.. once again the answer was no. I think I'm more upset I spend 20 dollars and they couldn't provide a 5 cent cup. read more

Fowler store needs to fill the cups to what Is ordered. Today I ordered a med with 2 extra enhancers and the cup was 1 1/2 " short of being full. I inquired with your staff and the answer was that's how our boss would do it. Maybe just a bad day for the person making the smoothie but what a piss poor response after I asked them about it. This location is exactly what it should be. Quick and easy. The staff is great and know their products. The smoothies are always on point and so much better than Tropical Smoothie Cafe because they are healthy and have many add-ins. The other place just serves fattening desserts with a lot of ice. If you want a meal replacement or between meal healthy snack that is packed with flavor, this is your place. read more

I have gone here for years and have probably spend hundreds here until recently the manager wouldn't make the drink I requested because she was training someone and they wanted her to follow the cards. But in my experience if you have a regular, who spends money you cater to them and teach the person your training to. It was a really simple smoothie too they just took it off the new menu. Anyways, this was about a month ago it left a bad taste in my mouth, I have a nutribullet at home I'll gladly make my own immune builder. read more
