This location is barely operational, sometimes not at all. They have been renovating since the first of April. Sign says drive up is open. If I place my order on the app, then I still have to get in line behind cars that are placing orders at drive up. Frustrating to say the least. The last two weeks the place has been closed. Went thought the drive through and the worker taking my order had an attitude saying that we were talking to quiet and seemed irritated that we inconvenienced him. We decided to just pull around to the window after him having us replete our order no less than 4 times. He had an attitude when we go to the window and finally took our order. Stopped here 15 minutes before closing last Monday night and was so impressed at the kindness and service of the two young ladies closing the store. They were friendly and helpful as we decided what to enjoy for our post-workout. The menu is organized well and is helpful in deciding what to drink. I didn't want something big so I opted for the kids menu at $3. The smoothie was wonderfully smooth and flavorful. The store itself is open, clean, and modern with lots of goodies to enjoy like veggie and fruit chips, nuts, jerky, protein cookies, protein powder, energy drinks, and more. I called to place a pick up order and a girls answers the phone -"hello?!" In a rude irritated voice. I thought I may have called the wrong number, because they did not say it was smoothie King. I responded "is this smoothie king? I was trying to place a pickup order" and once again rudely responded "go ahead" I start to order my smoothies and in the middle of my order I can hear the blenders going and she starts getting louder and louder and yells at me "do you want that a 20oz!!" and she is pissed for whatever reason ... and then hangs up. I had never been to SK. We usually go to Jamba Juice which I find twoo sweet. I had the matcha tea smoothie and really liked it. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice full flavor. Who would have expected Matcha in South Carolina. I wish they had these in the Bay Area. I think we have one somewhere, but not close enough to go to. read more

The service was good, however about an 20 minutes after drinking my smoothie I began violently vomiting. With this being the only I had since breakfast pretty sure it was not anything else. I order the same thing when I do decide to go there an Angel Food with extra banana sometimes pineapple sometimes none. This happened about 20 minutes before closing and I am wondering if something was cleaned and maybe not thoroughly washed? Cross contamination? This particular location is the best store ever. I travel back and forth through South Carolina Georgia Mississippi Louisiana Alabama and Texas but none of them have the best customer service like this store. The manager is amazing and so are all his staff members. If you have food allergies they're able to guide you to something that you would like and they'll even tell you if a creation probably won't come out right. Just stopped by to grab a smoothie on my way to Atlanta. Unfortunately, this was the only smoothie place open when I was looking (around 8ish). To be fair, I am pretty particular about what I want in my smoothies. I tend not to visit smoothie places because I make my own and can never really find the option that I'm looking for. I wanted something that was mostly green/veggies, a little fruit with protein. But most of their options are mostly fruit/fruit juice with a little veggie and maybe some protein. I ended up ordering the vegan mango kale and replacing the vegan protein powder with whey. It tasted fine but didn't fit what I was looking for nutritionally. Also, I'm not sure if it was the smoothie or what I ate with the smoothie but I had an upset stomach for a couple days. Other than the smoothie, my customer experience was fine. I love the smoothies here, especially the Hulk chocolate. My only problem with Smoothie King is the service. The employees seem dull, as in their expressions and voices make it sound like they do not want to be there. Service is also very slow. Whenever I go it usually takes about 12-15 minutes to get my smoothie when there is only 1 car in front of me. Other than the service, the smoothie itself is great. read more

I used to love this Smoothie King location but things have changed. While the smoothies themselves are still good, the service at the drive-through is terrible. I've waited more than 10 minutes in the drive-through when I was the only car there. At the window, I am often ignored, left to stare at the back of the employee on the other side of the window while I wait.
