What a treasure this little place is! I didn't know what to get because I usually only get an Americano; however, I wanted to try one of their speciality coffees. The girl working helped me pick a Mexican latte and customized it to be less sweet. It was perfect! I also grabbed a chia pudding and added almond butter and fruit to it. I appreciated the smaller portion size as it makes for a nice "get up and go" breakfast entree. Coffee - Peppermint Mocha latte. The drink was delicious and smooth with just the right amount of foam to balance the sweetness of the peppermint and the bitterness of the espresso. I liked Bex. At a ridiculous time, and on a jam-packed day for us, we drug in around 3:30 or so for LUNCH. Ha! The lady informed us she would close at 4. OK. I got a sammich on a GF bagel ('Cause I gotta), and the daughter got a big sammich on regular, yummy-looking bread. My sammich had bacon and egg and cream cheese on a GF blueberry bagel. They already get extra points for a flavored bagel; that's unusual, and appreciated. The cream cheese, though, was barely there. A swipe, rather than a slather. Next time, I'd probably ask her to lay it on thick. I'd be willing to pay extra. I also wished for a little more flavor & sweetness, so maybe a blueberry cream cheese? OMGoodness! I am SO tearing myself up over the thought of that! Daughter had the strawberry fields smoothie, and it Must have been delicious, 'Cause she refused to share with the granddaughter. (Snicker!) True. A couple of guys came in; one ordered the same smoothie, and the other appeared to have an espresso drink. Both looked supremely happy at their little tables. Great wifi and giant windows (one of my requirements for a good coffee shop). They have a pretty extensive menu for breakfast and lunch! They have breakfast biscuits and croissants and their infamous bagel sandwiches that my fiancé is obsessed with. He says Zeppelin all the way. There's also savory sandwiches and variety of salads. Only complaint is that the older blonde barista brought my bagel and slammed it on the table with an attitude and ugly look on her face, when i said thank you, she didn't even acknowledge me and walked off.
