As A California Top reviewer had they were alerted that I personally was coming to check this place out they would have SHUT THIS HEALTH HAZARD DOWN. I walked in knowing that everything was gonna be clean spotless sanitized I walked in thinking I was not going place my life and my families at Risk of catching a case of Staph in this very disgusting filthy health hazard of an establishment I stepped in to a puddle of fecal water and a horrible smell coming from the restroom on the right upon entering I guess the doesn't care or are aware of water waste because I recorded the entire time of my visit the water being on at the sink non stop and no one of the 4 workers there caring to turn it off, nor clean up the liquid which appeard to be at least 3 - 4 Gallons of human waste, urine, fecal liquid I was horrified I didn't want to believe the reviews I felt this place really deserved a good chance an open honest review from an actually reviewer so than I saw the workers working so hard and not being able to act as a team everyone was doing the same thing there was No leader, No supervisor no one saying ok You: clean the bathrooms, You: clean the containers and equipments You: disinfect and Mop this filthy floor No one I than felt the strong desire to go into the bathroom to throw up after noticing a worker use the same filthy container to make a smoothie for a customer at the drive through window each container placed on the blender in rinsed in filthy overly used water and cold water at that with everything under the sun floating in that water. As I escaped into the bathroom it just got 1000x worse the toilet was disgusting, the floor had been bathed with fecal , Urine, and something that appeard to have crawled across the floor upon me entering the restroom the rust, dirt grime How in the Hell excuse my French is this place still opened people trust openly and pay good money for conveyance they don't know that the workers long hair just slid in there cup, or a worker dreads brittle off in there cup they don't know that another worker came in sick and cough over everything or all the flies attracted by the smell of poop, urine, and rotten fruit. In my opinion the owners or the HEALTH DEPARMENTS should really visit this place before a bad Banana strawberry smoothie from Smoothie Kings puts a child, a military husband or wife or there beloved partner or even a grandmother in the ICU. After leaving the restroom I was just grateful to God I had the option to simply LEAVE and not throw my money into an establishment that clearly does not have Health and Safety as a top priority. read more

I honestly hate coming to this Smoothie King, but it's unfortunately the closest one to me. The people there always have an attitude, like I'm the one who made them fill out a job application. First time here. Went thru the dive thru. Just a not watch for the last pole at the end of the drive thru. Take that turn wide or you will scrape your car / truck. . Staff is helpful. And friendly. On the day I went there was a special so I got a 32 pozole smoothy for $5 but on a regular day it would be $11.00 which.is a little much but they are good and fresh. read more

Rather then focus on the awful, non existent customer service I experienced with the two ladies working at this location, I would like to spotlight the AMAZING customer service I experienced from the young man working on Sunday, June 2nd around 6pm. Whoever that young man is, he deserves a raise. Out of the three people working he was the ONLY one greeting people, taking drive thru orders, taking inside orders, and making orders..simultaneously. He made my bowl, as when he asked one of the girls if she made the online order, she looked at him like "yeah no and I have no intention of doing that either" so he took it upon himself to make it. It was perfect by the way. It was made just like I requested online. He really is the one holding that location down and I feel that's important to be recognized. You can't teach customer service, you either have it, or you don't, and he definitely has it! Good job! read more

The drinks were alright, but Keyshawn,who was taking my order, was the only friendly staff member there that showed maturity and respected.

I spent about 35 minutes at the drive thru (25-30 to get to the speaker, then another 5-10 just waiting to have my order taken). The kid with the headset wouldn't answer and couldn't tell me what was taking so long when he did. Smoothies tasted good, but the manager really needs to get their stuff together. read more

Been going to Smoothie King once a week as a treat for my daughter and myself. She's a dancer and was excited that they have these so-called healthy drinks. Well, twice (to include today) I order the blueberry heaven with almond milk substitute substituted for regularly milk--I can't have dairy, i.e., from the COW. Each time I went in, I would say it tastes different, and they would make a new one. Well a couple weeks ago, I went in, asked for the almond milk substitute for cow milk. I started drinking it as I was drinking down the road and realized I couldn't talk or anything because my vocal chords were tightening up. I realized there was milk in the smoothie. I called to complain and was told the owner would get back with me. He or she never did. Today, my daughter asked if we could stop at Smoothie King. Sure, why not. I specified not once, not twice, but 4-5 Times that I want Almond Milk. Was told by two employees that there was absolutely no dairy in it whatsoever. I said I knew there was dairy because I'd been told from the first time I'd ever been to a Smoothie King that they do indeed put in regular milk unless otherwise specified. We got our drinks and left. As I was driving home and talking with my daughter, I realized I couldn't speak as my vocal chords were again seizing up. I immediately called Smoothie King. I went to voice mail. I called agin and got a very nice young man who was trying to be helpful, but doesn't know that DAIRY MILk is different than Almond MILK. He said he had a note that I had called before and asked how long I had had the Smoothie. I said I called two weeks or so ago and never got a call back, thankyouverymuch. I explained the situation and he said he would call the owner and let her know what was going on and would call me back. He did. He said she was on her way to the store and I could call back later or return to the store (I was half way home and surely I have all the time in the world to go all the way back to Killeen for this??? Hmmm. Disgruntled customer, but they have to call HER? Yeah, I don't think so. I let him know they just lost my business, that I was going to put this on Yelp, and let everyone I know about their service. But wait! When I got home and logged online, I found some interesting article about Smoothie King! Update: their HQ doesn't give you the option to talk to a human. Will find another way. Did speak with the manager (whom I had to call!), all she did was apologize. I told her I would be returning with the smoothie and the receipt. She did try to defend that they don't use sugar by saying it was "turbinado". Ummm, turbinado IS sugar. Let her know it was their obligation to let people know what they put in their product. Corn syrup is also in their products. They don't tell you that either. No big deal to them that they are putting something in there that causes an allergic reaction to a child. How would they feel if it were their kid? Hmmm? read more

One visit will be great and one will be awful, we went today and the person taking the order seemed ignorant of the product and math. I had a coupon for a free smoothie and I tried to use it on Friday. Unfortunately, after it was scanned, I found out I couldn't use it because there was already a Friday special and they couldn't use the coupon on the day there is a special. Luckily, the person I dealt with that day was Joel and he was there again today! For some reason my coupon wouldn't work today, I figure probably because it was scanned on Friday before I found out I couldn't use it. Joel was there, and not only remembered me but was able to give me my free smoothie! I am sitting here on a hot summer day in Texas drinking an ice-cold smoothie that tastes so great! This is a big deal to me, being able to buy a smoothie As a treat for me because I am only on disability income and without Joel I probably wouldn't have it!
