I went to this location before work just to start my day on a good note with an açai bowl. Well, my experience there wasn't so good. I walked in and wasn't greater by this young man. The whole conversation was silent. When it was time to give me my change he kinda threw it in my hand. I did fell out a survey and I was called my the district manager (who was super sweet by the way) and she told me to come back and give them another chance. Well I did that this morning....and when I first initially walked in, there was nobody there in the front. Once I saw the young gentleman that helped me the first time I knew it was going to be a bad situation again like the first one so I just walked out. I will never go back to this location again I work in healthcare and if I were to approach a patient with an attitude or did not seem welcoming, I would lose my job and I feel like that is just uncalled for if you don't want to work somewhere, you don't have to, but you should have a great attitude when you see people It's just not gonna work for me anymore. Usually a really great stand-up smoothie king with fantastic smoothies! The service in person is usually pretty smooth sailing. However, whoever was working on December 23rd at 3pm was not at all in the slightest even minorly a reflection of the usually great work ethic. I called atleast five times. First i was interested in calling and seeing about a job, so i called, which was faced with a pick up and then a hang up. I know they answered, I could hear my voice in the microphone! This was then rudely repeated once more. The rest of the times i called they just let it keep ringing. Answering the phone is likely one of the easiest parts of this job, not to mention I was literally just gonna ask if they were hiring. I hope this person has a terrible no good very bad day and I really want whoever you are to reconsider your position here because it seems like genuinely the easiest job ever and you being the lazy bum that you are can't even pick up the phone. Generally though i'm fine of course and this whole ordeal was pretty insignificant, almost so much so that i'd reconsider posting this review if I didn't know it would make me feel better. read more

I'm finding it increasingly harder to find Smoothie King's these days. I feel like I'm always having to venture further than I'd like to get to one, and you'd be surprised how many locations don't actually exist anymore. I had a major hankering for a Smoothie the other night after leaving the Gym, and could not, for the life of me, find one. Thankfully this one popped up on my Yelp App, just a little out of the way from where I needed to go. It is located off Sugarloaf Pkwy, not too far from 316, going towards Lawrenceville. There was decent parking available, and the store was clean. Most people are already familiar with the Smoothie King offerings. My two favorites are The Hulk and the Banana Boat. I opted for the Strawberry Hulk this go around and a medium size (WHY would you need larger, unless you're sharing with three other people). I must say, the Smoothie kind of makes my throat dry some, and I'm not the biggest fan of the strawberry. However, The Hulk ALWAYS hits the spot. You can't really leave disappointed when you get a Smoothie. However, the guy working behind the counter was friendly and noticed the running shirt I had on. We had a quick chat, and I realized he was a pretty good runner at one of my former rival high schools. He made the trip there at least a little more enjoyable. I usually come to this smoothie king before the gym all of the time. Tonight i came & the lady behind the counter mixed up my order with another woman's order. She wasn't sure whose they were. They were all passing the smoothie around , therefore i asked nicely could mine be remade over into a different cup to the the fact that I'm big on germs & they still weren't even sure if it was the correct smoothie. I didn't want it to be a confusion due to the fact that I'm highly allergic to pineapples & i asked for banana. I use to like coming to this location at least four times a week. But I had to stop because of the staff and well as the multiple changes to this store. Because of this store I have completely stopping dealing with smoothie king. I have come to this establishment several times and my order was not ready and they would just be setting up over an hour after they were suppose to open. I always preorder my items on the app but it does no good because when you get to the location your order is still not ready. I have had to cancel several orders and I have yet to get a refund because the employees told me to go through corporate; I reached out to corporate who says no they do not do that and that I had to go to the store. I went back to the store and they continue to say that I have to speak with the owner who is never there. So can someone explain to me how I am suppose to get a refund if no one at corporate nor at the store handles that? I have been waiting for these refunds for over three months. I only had one guy ahead of me and at the time there was only one person working. I went in for today's $5 medium deal. I even made sure the sign was there before ordering. I waited about 15-20minutes before I got to the register. The guy says $6.36. Tax isn't that much. Whatever. They say they have some special stipulation so I say, make it fit the stipulation. They all look dumbfounded and refuse to do anything. I was apparently speaking another language. Then the manager starts flipping out because there's a line. Yes there's a line when you're slow and are slowing things down. So I don't like arguing so I walk out. Then I realized my lunch break is half over and I have no time. I go back in where the manager continues to flip out but I want my drink.
