Grayson Sweet Home Cafe definitely feels like home! We stopped in to grab a cup of coffee on our way back from exploring the city. The employees were very kind, greeting us upon walking through the door. They have everything from breakfast options to any type of coffee you'd like or even pastry options! Did I mention they have a drive thru option also? For those rainy days that you would just want to grab a coffee and go. But don't hesitate to step inside, the ambiance is fantastic. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm back in town. Worth the visit! Thank you for your great service.

Grayson Sweet Home Cafe is located at the heart of downtown Grayson. A cute and quaint little coffee shop that has a decent amount of seating for its diminutive size. The staff were very kind and service was quick. I'd rather support this small local shop than any nearby big chain coffee shop any day. Give this place a shot for your next meetup or morning drink.

If you are looking for a nice down home, low key vibe, Grayson Home Sweet Cafe is it. This is a great spot for relaxing and taking in some nice music. They have a variety of different options from which to choose including breakfast (served all day), sandwiches of many forms and specialized treats & beverages. If you're in the Grayson area you do well to visit this little dive. An added benefit is it is located across the street from a nice park/downtown area that n Grayson. Go solo or with a few friends. You will really enjoy Grayson Home Sweet Cafe.

    Salted turtle with oat milk

Stopped by Grayson Coffee House while I was in the area for an afternoon pick me up. The cafe is housed in one of Grayson's historic homes. I love that they've kept the charm of the home both inside and out. Plenty of parking behind the cafe and even has a drive-thru option. I was greeted immediately upon entering. Their menu offers coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches and more. I just wanted coffee at the time and decided on their salted turtle with oat milk. I believe the salted turtle was a mix of chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel. What a combo, right?? It was plenty sweet but surprisingly not overly sweet. They serve Jittery Joe's which is a chain of coffeehouses based in Athens, Georgia. Strong and delicious! The staff was absolutely wonderful. It took me a while to decide on a flavor because they had a lot of fun flavors to choose from, and the team was patient with me. Our short interaction while they were making my drink was memorable and pleasant. Highly recommend GCH!

Toffee Nut Latte with Soy Milk

I want to love this place so badly, it's the only local coffee shop in town. I've given it three chances and I'm feeling really disheartened. The decor is adorable, the location is great, and the staff are lovely. I have no qualms with the service or ambiance! My dislike is with the coffee. I am a lactose intolerant latte person. I've tried three there so far: vanilla latte with oat milk, pumpkin spice latte with oat milk, and the toffee nut latte with soy milk. At first I wondered if I didn't like my latte because of the oat milk. But the first drink I had, the pumpkin spice, didn't taste like anything except the espresso and oat milk (which tasted like saw dust). I tried again, a different flavor, thinking maybe the staff accidentally used the sugar free syrup and that's why I couldn't taste the flavoring. The vanilla latte with oat milk was better, but again it was pretty flavorless and the milk tasted like saw dust. Finally I went today and got the toffee nut with soy milk. This tasted significantly less like saw dust, but there was no toffee flavor. Only milk and espresso. I think that for many people, this type of latte is what they'd enjoy. For me, I really appreciate a flavored latte with BOLD flavors, especially because the flavoring itself costs extra. I REALLY want to love this place, so maybe if I go again I'll order double the amount of flavoring in the coffee. In conclusion, I hated their choice in oat milk. I think the soy is much better. If I go again, I'll need to ask for double the amount of flavoring. And for a $6.89 cup of coffee, I think it may not be worth it. I do not want to go to a big chain, I want to support this adorable, wonderfully decorated local business. Maybe I'll give it another shot...

Unfortunately I had to update my review. This used to be a dependable place to come to with fast service. Their drive through is up and running, however, it takes 30 minutes to get a toasted bagel when there are 3 people working. I sat in the drive looking at one person just wiping down little things when she could have stepped in and helped. Then the main person who was making the order, is serving people fork and knives with napkins when that is all self serve. All this walking slowly around like if no one at the drive through is waiting. If you have a big order, it takes nothing but a couple of seconds to pop a bagel in a toaster while the other order is already being worked. It's food prep basics! Or, if you cannot handle a 5 minute order ask for help. Such a waste of time and am never going back.

After a visit to the local park nearby, I wanted something to drink and decided to give them a try - great decision! It was what made me try their food and coffee. It started out as a place to grab a beverage but then quickly became a favorite drive thru breakfast spot. Additionally, It's a great place to meet a friend for breakfast/lunch/coffee plus I've had breakfast with my family there - great for families too. The coffee can compare to the best out there and the food is fresh and delicious. I love that there is an outdoor seating option. It's covered and climate controlled with cushion patio furniture, which gives it a cozy vibe. I would be remiss not to mention their smoothie options - they are delightful! Price and service are commendable!

Great spot to grab food and coffee. Option to sit inside or outside. I usually get the wrap but opted for the waffle today and it was soo good!

Lovely neighborhood spot for coffee you can pick up drive-through or even sit down inside and enjoy your cup. The people are always friendly. The coffee is great, and they have great baked goods as well. This place is my go to when I'm in town especially over a Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks.

Good for a meeting room if you can snag it.

Listen! I ate and left no crumbs...literally!…read more I was looking for a breakfast spot and this place popped up. It's one of those places that you don't know exist unless you know it's there. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

My guys is already planning what he will be ordering next -lol Friendly service and great prices. Check them out, you will not be disappointed, the place is small, more so for take out and they have a decent size menu.

I've heard they also have another location in Atlanta, Georgia, where parking is required and they offer specialty lemonades. The vibe here was really nice--great music, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of flowers on the tables in honor of Mother's Day. Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, including specialty items and pricing. For food, we ordered the shrimp and waffles, chicken tenders with waffles, and the catfish plate, which comes with two sides--we chose potatoes and eggs. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. We also tried their lemonades, which come in a variety of flavors like strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry, and they are refillable. The only downside for us was that they only offer bottled water--we would have preferred the option of having a regular cup of ice water at the table. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was flavorful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Pricing is around $20+ per person. I just wish they had a location like this in Arizona!
