I visited this new drive-thru location in Mandeville, La. after placing my order in the Smoothie King app (Champion Member.) I noticed at the drive-thru billboard that a makeshift sign was posted "Out of bananas, sorry.) I informed the cashier I have a mobile order to pickup. She said they are out of bananas but a manager would be there shortly to deliver bananas. I told her I'd go get gas nearby and return for my order. I returned 15 minutes later and she informed that they still don't have bananas. Now I've wasted time in the app and two trips to this location. She couldn't give me an exact time to receive bananas and complete my order that I've already paid for so I told her I would attempt to cancel in the app. I provided feedback in the Smoothie King app for a resolution but I've only received an email from Shirlee Mendez of Smoothie King Guest Support passing the buck to the management team. They made me the wrong smoothie, I brought it back in and they made me another one and said "I hope this one tastes better for you" implying they didn't just make me a completely wrong smoothie. The second one they made did not taste like the vanilla hulk I order EVERY DAY... almost as if it's missing the VANILLA protein powder... I didn't even address it because they didn't even offer an explanation as to why my first smoothie was wrong... I don't think they even know how to make a vanilla hulk... read more

Website said they were open at 9. I got there at 9:03 with a car already waiting in line. No employee showed up for a couple more minutes. The one who showed up later was livid there were cars in line easily seen on her face. Took a couple more minutes to start taking orders. No apology for wasting peoples time when orders were placed and picked up. Instead the disdain on their faces that they directed to the customers were glaringly obvious. Complete disregard for wasting ten minutes of their customers time. They obviously don't need to be in a job where customer service is required because they couldn't even apologize for such an obvious mistake, instead deciding to seethe at the customers who were waiting on them. A simple apology and admitting your mistakes can go a long way. I was a regular bc it's right by my place but I'm just going to stop going now or go to one farther away which is probably cheaper. I downloaded yelp just to write this and no one may ever see it...this smoothie king may be going out of business I'm assuming as it looked empty inside and the girls working behind the counter could give a crap less if they had jobs it seemed. All that aside, the two smoothies we ordered (20oz and 32oz chocolate Gladiators) were tasteless and unable to drink through a straw even from seasoned smoothie drinkers like ourselves. I'm not sure if the girls on shift had any idea how to work the blenders, it sounded like a warzone behind the counter so we thought they did know what they were doing. It's smoothie king, can't be that hard, right? Anyway, I'm not a complainer but it was $18 for 2 smoothies that are could be eaten with a spoon if we cared enough to try but we'll just cook dinner instead. Have a great day :( read more

Smoothie King is my go to place. I love the Green smoothie. The ginger is pretty powerful so I normally add strawberry. My husband always orders Strawberry extreme and the kids love Caribbean way. Most of the time staff is friendly and we can get in and out. The location is a bit hidden but worth the detour. read more
