As I read the reviews, I see that the same problems have been going on for years at this location and after my visit today I see they still persist, the staff needs to get retrained or fired because it is absolutely ridiculous. They take an excessive amount of time compared to other smoothie king locations I've been to and when they speak to you, they act like you're a burden on them with the most nonchalant attitudes imaginable, the smoothies come ok enough but the process to get it is always a drag here, I've seen people leave the line before they get to the window because of how long it takes so they are clearly losing money because of this too. This Smoothie King in Missouri City is hands down my favorite location, and I've been to a lot. It's clean, the ambiance is calm and inviting, and the smoothies are blended to perfection. Extra special shoutout to the employee Farrah in particular, her energy is genuinely uplifting and made the whole visit that much better. Um. Wow. I 100% stand by the two stars that they have except I would knock it down one star. This place is horrid. Like, actually horrible. No one understands what you're saying. No one can answer the questions that you're asking. No one understands what lactose intolerant means. They don't greet you at the window... As they're LOOKING at you. They just leave the window closed and go about their business. It takes about five entire minutes for someone to notify or acknowledge you on the order intercom. Like, how do y'all even function? The service at this location continues to be horrible. It always seems as though the employees do not want to be here. This is shown by how they take your order on the intercom with a very low and uninterested demeanor. It usually takes more than five minutes to receive your order. Visited on a Sunday afternoon via the drive thru and recieved fast friendly service despite having a few cars in front of us in line. Smoothies were great, made correctly, and were the prefect consistency. I got the carrot kale dream, and my husband got the power punch plus...both are our favorites. The Smoothie King closer to my house takes forever when we go to the drive thru and sometimes the smoothies taste watered down, but not here. I had to wait 15 minutes for it when there was only one car in the drive-in ahead of me. I'm not sure what's happening to the Smoothie King Franchise. I had a bad order at the Katy location several months ago but decided to shake it off and try again now. I walked up to the counter to order as each step had my shoes sticking to the floor. We still ordered but the attendant didn't know how to run the register. Then, the printer didn't print. Not only did he not know how to fix the printer issue, none of the 5 attendants knew how to make our smoothies without the printed recipe from it. Wait, what?! What kind of training do they get anyways? We sat and listened as one tried to pull up an app, one phoned a friend, one tried fixing the printer, and the others were off in the back. I'm genuinely nervous about investing the finished product and likely won't try again. It's just a shame because I liked their smoothies. The customer service at this location is very poor. Turbinado was added to my smoothies when the smoothies didn't come with it and weren't asked for. Another smoothie was made very milky and watery. The smoothies had to be remade twice and I spent over 40-45 minutes before I left the store. I spent almost 10 minutes at the order window before anyone took my order. The wait was so long that's a car drove off after ordering before receiving their order. When a "manager" Natasha called me, she was very unprofessional, belligerent, and spoke over me and didn't listen to anything I had to say. She purposefully called me the wrong name and refused to give me the general manager's number or leave a message for them to call me. She hung up on me 3 times.
