Stay away matcha lovers and students/wfh folks!! We ordered a matcha latte and an iced lavender latte. Lavender latte was solid but a bit on the sweeter side. Matcha latte was awful. I'm not a matcha snob by any means but this matcha was so poor quality that we ended up throwing it away before finishing. I came here hoping to stay awhile to get some work done and didn't notice til after I ordered drinks that the WiFi was extremely spotty. The guest wifi didn't pop up for a while and when it was available, it disconnected me a couple of times. I got tired of the slow and spotty internet connection so I ended up going home. After reading old reviews, it seems like their WiFi has never been reliable even 10+ years ago. I did notice some folks with laptops sitting by the window so maybe there's better connection there? Service was just okay. Overall the matcha and WiFi issue is enough to make me not want to go back. I feel like the space really has some potential to be a cozy spot, however, they could definitely use some work. read more

I didnt really like the latte. It had no coffee taste. Was more a mixture of hot water with milk. The place is really cute though. Reminded me of some cute retro coffee shop. It seems to get busy as they do have tables that say 2 hours with a drink order. Its walking distance from the hotels down the road and it has a lot of parking spaces. The view outside the windows is nice and peaceful. The staff members look weren't like super friendly, but they were mean. I guess they are chill. Not sure how to describe them They did have a steady amount of people coming for a weekend so it must be good. Just not in mine. Try them out and share your experience. read more

This is the cutest and quietest place I have ever visited The service was friendly and fast, the atmosphere was dimly lit and comfortable. There are people there working on their computers and some just having quiet conversation. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk. It was delicious! I was quite disappointed with my visit here. I pass this coffee shop daily for work and finally decided to stop in. I love a specialty menu and seen they had a gingerbread chai latte. I love gingerbread and I love chai so it was a no brainer. I ordered it and the staff member told me she wasn't sure if they had the ingredients to make that particular drink, but they end up having it. I also ordered a blueberry muffin too. The gingerbread chai latte was very gross. It was super thick and the gingerbread flavoring did not compliment the chai well at all. The taste was almost unbearable to drink. I end up throwing it away, unfortunately after a few sips. I would suggest more ice be added to the drink too. It was more "chilled" than cold and it didn't do the drink any favors. I really hate to say this but the muffin tasted very store bought.. I even have a specific store in mind. Considering I paid $4+ for the muffin, I would expect something baked in house rather than potentially store bought. The inside was okay. Not particularly somewhere I would go to sit in, but it was very clean inside with plenty of seating. I personally don't see myself returning. April 3, 2025 (Review) Food: Pistachio Gelato: Thick, Nutty, Grainy, Slightly Sweet. Most likely have Green Food Dye, however it most definitely have Pistachio Nuts. Sampled Vanilla Gelato, it's lighter, airy, and sweet. Service: Petite Asian Cashier was amusing & attentive. The short interaction had me giggling . Ambiance: Seating is cozy and area is clean. With all due respect I have no desire to go to this location anymore. I tried it again and went today and asked for a simple iced americano with half and half creamer and made it very clear in my order. They handed me my drink with no creamer in it and it was even labeled on the cup. They also maybe added sweetener or something to it. I asked for a blueberry muffin warmed up and it was not. They were not busy at all. The staff here does not pay attention at all and it shows they do not care. I've been a loyal customer to Minuti for years and go to locations off of Gray St. and Fountain View and never have this issue. I recommend you have your staff observe other locations to see how things work that are of standard. read more

Although I don't frequent it as much as I used to since moving out of my parents' house, I do enjoy stopping by when I visit. I highly recommend the dirty chai. Had to go back for my gingerbread dirty chai latte and pistachio muffin fix. I opted to buy a $30 gift card and scored a free drink. I asked for a grande and the very nice cashier suggested a large drink as it was free. My hot gingerbread dirty chai was oh so delicious but oh soooo sweet that I had to take it back. The nice lady behind the counter explained that they had a new chai powder and that she could remake with not as much powder. So sweet. The replacement was good and still on the sweet side. Took it home with me so I could doctor it some and take some of the sweetness away. Hubs got a black tea and blueberry muffin. I downloaded the new app prior to going in and tried to order. It said that black iced tea was not currently available. When nice cashier brought us our muffins, I asked her about uploading my new gift card to app as I wasn't able to locate where to do it. She said that unfortunately, it was not an option. So 2 not so friendly issues with the fairly new app. Saw the friendly cashier leave while we were there and she impressed me even more since she had been so nice to us, even at the end of her shift. read more

Unbelievable. Paola the manager was extremely rude. I have been going to Minuti for four years and every time I have been able to buy a $30 gift card and get my free drink along with it. Then pay for the rest of my items with the gift card (two separate transactions). And suddenly they tell me I can no longer do that. Either educate your employees better on the rules or allow me to spend something on a gift card that I PAYED FOR. read more

Ambience was fine - typical darkish corner coffee shop. Snagged the last table at 10:30 because so many ppl were camped out working on laptops. The wifi does have a 2 hour limit, and the tall tables are "reserved" for groups of 2 or more who have all made a purchase. I get why they do it, but as someone who only goes to these places once in a while to just relax and experience (and not to work) I found it annoying. There are prepackaged lunch and breakfast items, but we did not try. My drink was absolutely terrible. We intentionally skipped the Hilton hotel coffee to get "real" coffee and it was such a bad cappuccino I ended up putting a packet of sugar in to make it more palatable. They made this and several others pretty quickly, I think the shots were pulled too fast, and maybe too hot. Tasted a bit like burned popcorn in a very bad way. Would not go back. read more

My wife is handicapped and they always (every barista we've had, I think!) go way beyond the call of duty. Then, inside there's 9 tables with 2 seats each, a booth, 2 high long tables with 6 bar stools each, and a small circle table with 4 big comfy seats. So plenty of seating space. Decided to study at Minuti and was a bit disappointed by the coffee. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was super sweet and could not taste the coffee at all, and it was overpriced for the size I got. The interior was cute and I did enjoy the lighting which made it a nice study spot. read more

First time at this location, usually go to the one on westheimer but I was in the area so I stopped by with my daughters. Coffee was great as per usual but the Customer service was not. The cashier was not welcoming, seemed like she was rushing me when taking my order and while we sat and waited for our pastries and coffee we caught her literally roll her eyes at a gentleman that was about to order but quickly stopped to greet another gentleman in there and staring at him with just not the greatest look. I came here today hoping to grab a coffee and study for a long time. When I first arrived, I was scouting around for places with an outlet and to my supprise they only have 3 outlets where you can charge ur devices. I understand that many places do not have plugs which is ok. The place is a comfortable place to study as they have tables, booth, high chairs and couches. The service was pretty great because I was struggling to choose what drink to order and the staff ask if I had any questions to let them know. I got a hot moka and in my opinion I barley tasted any coffee and I thought I was drinking hot chocolate. I also ask my friend to taste it to confirm my taste buds and she agree with me. For my friend she got the carmel macchiato and it was okay. I was able to tase the coffee better in her drink. But I still barley tasted any coffe flavors. However when I join the wifi it pop up a 2 hr limit. I expected that I would be able to forget the network and rejoin the wifi when I hit the 2 hr window. However they have a 6 hr time limit before I can rejoin their wifi. We live in a modern day where everyone uses wifi and need it for our daily task especially as a student. This is not the experience I was expecting and I am very disappointed to leave this review. I used to be a regular here. Giganti Iced Chai Latte. Your Chai Lattes are disgusting and always taste either oddly enough like eggnog or nothing but coffee mixed with chocolate. I understand you started going to another distributor to get your Chai but the truth must be said: it's gross and tastes nothing like it used to. Hot or cold, I could rely on the ingredients and any barista to make it consistently good. After over 3 years of giving you my hard earned money, I've decided to cut you off permanently and no longer drink your coffee. You were the only coffee shop that made a decent coffee chai. I've only been here twice, but they do make really a good chai latte and a dirty chai latte. The ambience here is modern and relaxing. Their jazzy background music was just loud enough to enjoy, but not too loud to not be able to concentrate. Because of the COVID 19 pandemic, I'm really only comfortable with getting my coffee or tea to go. But, I hope to be able to really enjoy the relaxed vibes in this coffee shop in the near future. This Sugarland Minuti is the biggest in comparison with the Galleria and Fondren location. Sunday is definitely one of their busiest days. There was almost nowhere to sit. We ended up sitting outside in the sun before seats opened up inside. This location is located in a small plaza with doable parking. Same concept as any other Minuti. They have their usual coffee menu along with ready-to-purchase baked goods. They also served gelato here although, I have yet to try some. My absolute favorite drink is their dirty chai latte. If you really need the extra boost of energy, then get their filthy chai. Their pistachio muffin is a good light snack to go with your coffee. Plenty of seats from high tables to couches. Most people were there to study or do work, so the atmosphere was very chill. Noise level was medium. Very spacious compared to other locations. Stable WiFi. If you want to become a regular at Minuti, then purchase their gift card of $25 credit. First drink is free. Overall, I have become a regular at Minuti's. Minuti is a great place to relax and do work on a laptop or read a book while drinking coffee however while doing so please don't chose any of the iced coffee options. I've ordered Iced lattes from them multiple times and each time have been disappointed. Maybe it's a me thing, but I'm not sure. I will say though their iced dirty chai is one of the best things on the menu and I continue to go there for that specific reason. The staff is also extremely friendly. read more

Came here with a friend to get some work done and was surprised it wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted upon entrance and quickly helped. I went for a vanilla latte and got a pistachio muffin. The vanilla latte was served in a paper cup but my muffin was warmed and served on a real plate. Not sure if they actually serve their drinks for all dine-ins in paper cups, but anyway, it's fine. The latte was made perfect and not too sweet for my taste. I really liked how smooth it was and the vanilla was so aromatic. The piece of heaven was my pistachio muffin though! Definitely have them warm it up because it smelled sooooo good coming out and had a slight crisp outside and warm and moist inside. This is worth getting even if you're not buying a drink IMO. Didn't notice there were a lot of outlets but if you get there in time, no need to worry about a spot. Will be returning to try out more items. read more

There are SOO many things wrong with this. What are your thoughts ??? Why would anyone go to a business where they don't feel welcome, especially a coffee shop. On top of that, the coffee is mediocre at best. The drip coffee tasted like the pavan flavored coffee from Chevron (didn't order the pecan flavored coffee), and our latte had a foul after taste. Zero customer service, and didn't even carry real honey for the drinks. Instead offering cheap packets of honey that the customer has to add them selves. For a $5 latte, is it too much to ask to simply add the honey for me (like every other reputable coffee shop) ? Don't worry, we will NOT be staying for more then 2 hours ! read more
