Both bowls were barely filled and were basically just toppings with very little of the actual base. For $21 total, that is absolutely ridiculous. I've ordered these same bowls from other Tropical Smoothie locations plenty of times, and they have always been filled properly. My boyfriend went back inside to ask for a refund because we were so disappointed. We were more than willing to give both bowls back we simply wanted our money back for something we clearly did not receive a proper portion of. Instead of offering to remake them, refund us, or even attempt to fix the situation, Andrea told him there was nothing she could do, said sorry, and walked away. The portion size was frustrating, but the way the situation was handled made it so much worse. For how expensive these bowls are, customers deserve to actually get what they pay for, and if there's an issue, it should at least be handled professionally. Extremely disappointing experience and customer service. I would give zero stars if I could. I'll gladly take my business to Smoothie King from now on. This location seriously needs to revisit both its portion standards and customer-service training.

The guy helping me, Anthony, explained that he was the new owner and filled me in some more on the Clean Juice story and his family's journey in operating this location. So far it seems like all the changes have been positive and it's only going to get better and better. I wish every town had a Clean Juice since no other juice bars are USDA certified organic. Anthony said he'd just gone through an Organic Audit and it was extremely thorough. By eating organic juice and smoothies you know your ingredients are pesticide free, among other benefits,which is really important.
