Smoothville is a hidden gem in Hazardville CT, on 310 Hazard Avenue, at the intersection of North and South Maple Street. It is one of the best places I've ever been to for a smoothie, and I've been to quite a few places, especially when I travel. I've had smoothies in places like Miami Beach, Santa Monica CA, New York City, Birmingham AL, Atlanta GA, including many other cities -and Smoothville is as good or better than any of the top smoothie and acai bowl establishments I've experienced. Smoothville is an adorable, independently owned smoothie, açaí and chia bowl shop. I walked inside and was astonished by the amount of available items they can make off their menu. Everything is made fresh, with fresh ingredients. I went with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding. This was only $6.50. This came in a cup, not a bowl. They asked me what kind of yogurt I would like it to be made with, plain, Greek or vanilla. I said Greek. This Chia cup is made with cacao powder blended with chia, agave and almond milk. Topped with yogurt, peanut butter and chocolate chips. The cup was the perfect amount for me. This was very tasty! I've never had the cacao powder blended into the chia before. Although, I don't think these were thoroughly blended, as I could still see the raw cacao powder in parts. It was still very delicious, with just enough sweetness, and a bit of crunch from the chocolate chips! If I'm in the area again, I'd love to try one of their many smoothies. read more

What a hidden little gem in hazardville Connecticut. I was super happy to try this place after I discovered it normally I only find these places in other parts of Connecticut so I'm glad to have one literally 7 minutes from my house. The staff was super friendly and happy to help and discuss the menu. The woman was very knowledgeable. I ordered matcha smoothie. Which had my favorite kale and spinach along with Greek yogurt and banana. Also ordered a berry acai Bowl. Which I love that they topped it off with honey and a hint of cinnamon. I've never tried an açaí bowl until I stumbled across this hidden gem. If you're looking for fresh fruit and a fully loaded açaí berry purée you won't have to look to far with Smoothville. I am part of the rewards program now and it's been delicious every-time I've gone; going on about 11 times now. My wife and I both got supplements of different kinds added to our bowls, and they tasted great, no weird powdery stuff sprinkled on top like I've had at other places. I put this vendor of smoothies to the highest test by bringing my son and my daughter to get smoothies there, and they love the different flavors (I stick to matcha). I really enjoy the selection at Smoothville. I go there pretty much daily for a Yonana bowl and PB chocolate chia seed pudding. I lost 100lbs and have found it difficult to find healthy options and things I enjoy. I eat the pudding for a snack or breakfast. It is so filling and great for digestive health. The yonana bowls are great portions and totally customizable. The staff is amazingly friendly and always has my order ready promptly as I usually order on the mobile app which is user friendly. The smoothies are very good, but I'm not impressed about the owners . They do not have good customer service. A piece of hair was in someone's bowl which I get that happens sometimes, the Owner was mad because the customer announced it, and the Owner was mad about it because the guy didn't say it quietly and was super hostile to remake the guys bowl. Made me and everyone in there feel awkward because of how hostile the owner was. Also asked for a bowl for my dog for water and the lady seemed bothered at that request. Might re considering taking my business elsewhere. Not a good vibe when owners are there , the workers are very nice. But very hostile environment when owners are there. read more

I have wanted to try Smoothville for a while now and am sad that I waited so long. It was fantastic! I ordered the beet smoothie for my 1.5 and 4 year old to split and I ordered the coconut spice smoothie to split with my husband. Everyone enjoyed it and not a drop was left. It was super easy to order online for pickup. Our smoothies were ready in 15 minutes. We parked in the back, called to say we had arrived, and someone brought our order out to the car. We discovered Smoothville recently and love it! I did learn today that the açaí bowls are actually made with açaí sorbet, and I wish they had that on the menu in the store. I also wish they used natural PB. It seems sugar is added to a lot of things that don't really need it. (I should note that I haven't seen all the ingredients, but from a heath standpoint, it would be better to use ingredients without added sugar in smoothies that already contain fruit.) That said, we will continue to go to Smoothville but will be sure we order carefully. read more
