I needed to extend my trip a few days and a woman at the front desk (whose name I'll refrain from mentioning) said I'd have to move to a different room if I wanted to stay and keep the same rate. I could tell she was new at the time and had no concept of hotel "hospitality." I moved to the new room and promptly advised my finance department to remove the hotel from the list of approved accommodations when staying in Burlington. Again, the rooms look great in pictures but the walls were paper thin and there was a huge gap under the room's entrance door - so much so I could see people's shadows walking by at night. The bed was not comfortable either. Given how much the room(s) cost, it is not worth it. The value just isn't there.

The room I was given had major noise issues with the HVAC unit so I had to get another room. That room still had noise issues so I used a white noise app to get as good a night sleep as possible. That room also had amenity issues with no hair conditioner in the shower. I won't be staying here again. Marriott needs to examine this property. I have video and pics if needed.

Although the brunch is somewhat pricey (but reasonable compared to dinner), you are paying for the location and gorgeous view of Lake Champlain in the backyard of the Inn. Overall, service was pretty good at brunch and attentive, but our reservation was near the end of the brunch period. It's well worth taking pictures outside if the weather is nice. Before you enter the dining room, be sure to visit the sitting room. The Inn has a pleasant, historic vibe and elegant charm with portraits of Lila Vanderbilt Webb in the sitting room. This Yelp review is just for the brunch at the Inn (we did not stay overnight).
