I would caution anyone considering purchasing a luxury handbag from this business. I purchased a Chanel bag for approximately $2,600. They did not disclose that the bag had been repainted. After receiving it, I specifically asked about repainting/color restoration, and they confirmed in writing that it had been repainted. I immediately requested a return and documented the bag's condition before sending it back. After receiving the bag, they accused me of damaging and withheld approximately 50% of my refund, about $1,300. I had to escalate the matter and ultimately involve my financial institution to recover the remainder of my money. Luxury buyers beware: ask specifically about repainting, refinishing, or restoration and document everything. Based on how this transaction and return were handled, I would not purchase from this business again. read more

I started my marriage process today , so we went ring shopping. We decided to stop by to see what options were available. As I walked I let the employee know I was looking for a wedding ring. "He stated we just put them up". I asked were they about to close? He stated in 45 minutes. Idk if we profiled or what ? Smyrna Pawn is located on Windy Hill Rd. Right now there is a lot of road work going on, so it's easier to enter the building with the flow of traffic. There is parking in the back of the buliding. I went here looking for a digital camara, wanting to see what they had, I know with pawn shops it's a hit or miss. I had already researched a different brand, so when I saw a camera (different from the one I researched) I asked to look at it. Jason, was super nice, very pleasant and most importantly Very Very patient, with my looking and asking a lot of questions. He answered all my questions, and when he didn't know, he said he didn't know (which was only once) I appreciate the honesty. He showed me how to work the camera, how to take pictures and how to use the lens. Then I was done, and he headed to the registar. Then, I saw a lens and he headed back to the case, showed me how to attach it, took some pictures. I paid (they are taking cash), he bagged my stuff up, in the carring bag the camera came with and told me it also came with a tripod, AWESOME!!! He spent almost an hour with me and never left me once. The store was well staffed for a Saturday afternoon, every one was greeted and asked if they needed help. Went to Smyrna Pawn Brokers to buy a golf club. Made an offer on a club with a dented face. The guy was rude, ridiculous, and combative. I don't know his name but he was not the guy I spoke to on the phone who sounded nice. The prices seemed very high. Yes, I offered less than they were asking but it was damaged. I can find an undamaged club of the same make and model on Ebay for the same price they were asking for a damaged club. There was no reason to be rude. My advice, take your business elsewhere, don't reward rude behavior. read more

Just killing time my wife and I decided to pop in, not expecting much as the outside needs a facelift. But I had seen some contract work going on around the building in the previous month and wanted to give it a shot. The remodel is VERY welcoming and fitting of the level of customer service from the ownership and staff!
