I am a 62 yo retired lady who purchased a 1,200 ring and 5 days later one of the stones fell out, I tried getting them to repair or replace the ring , the short guy I believe his name is Ed (mgr) was so rude and nasty that I am having to file a claim in small claims court to get justice !!! I set up a date and time the same day I saw the item to come get it and pay. I was really looking forward to the item I chose for my new place. Hours later, I see a notification that the item has been sold to a different buyer. I called E L Pawn and they said, "We are so sorry. I'm not sure what happened." When I asked to speak to the woman who did this to me, they said hold on and then hung up on me. I do not recommend this place to anyone due to this insincere and irresponsible selling behavior. They do not care about their customers and only care about who comes in to pay them money. They do not take accountability for their actions and practice unprofessional business with the public. This place is full of horrible customer service and angry workers. They low ball you but as you look around half the stuff in there is being sold for more by your quality items. I took a television that was a flat screen LG and was offered 25 dollars after I had already been quoted 40 by another associate 10 minutes before. The manager tries to make you feel like your items aren't worth anything . And compared your item to eBay prices, which is ridiculous because eBay isn't a real retailer. I had a canon camera that's still being sold at target for 600 but he saw it on eBay for 150 "supposedly" and I was also giving 3 Extra lenses that didn't come with is , a case and a tripod . If you are a female take a man with you or you may be taken advantage of and really low balled. I hope they see this review and no longer judge a book by its cover or try to take advantage of people who are well educated and know the real value of things. Terrible service. The man usually in there is extremely rude. They will always lowball you but then will overprice the resell. I'd recommend you choose another pawn shop because this one is useless. They won't give you partial of the value of what you turn in. AND will sell you a defected product as if it were new. There's usually 1 person dealing with final costs and payments. And he's the asshole. The young women were extremely nice and helpful but clearly asshole is the overseer. read more

I had went here about 6 months ago and had a terrible experience. One guy who worked there was very rude and made you feel embarrassed to be there. I've gone in recently and they have seemed to have gotten rid of him and I couldn't be happier with their customer service. They are kind, welcoming and willing to work with you. read more

The lady working at the window 645p on 1/7/19 was extremely rude. I mean, I'm sorry you had to put your tablet down to do your job, but you shouldn't look at people with disgust as they approach you. My tv was apparently too old, so be it, but after the way she spoke to me and the looks she gave, we didn't even bring out what else we had. I will never recommend this place or be back and I live across the street. read more

They are extremely rude and the owner of the shop seemed more like he was interested in humiliating his costumers more than creating business with them.
