If and when they read this review, they'll either laugh this off or remember which order it was. Pictures will be up soon as soon as I post them... Long story short: My boyfriend went through the trouble of designing a couple T-shirts on Photoshop. 300 DPI, etc. (We're both graphic designers, we know how printing works.) Shirt 1 was a vector penguin face... simple enough. it was pretty obvious that they cut out the shapes and ironed them. However, the mouth was flipped upside down and there was a visibly difference in the "sheen" of the black parts of the face which created a line. Think of a puzzle piece. Now perhaps they printed the black on 3 separate sheets, but that doesn't mean it's OK for quality. Shirt 2 was a turtle face. For a custom print shirt where the design was originally brightly colored... the shirt print turned out super faded. Also the lettering was abnormally pixelized. Printing normally does that, but this was very obvious and that was not the original intent of the design. Mind you, he paid $60 for 2 shirts, neither which are good quality. Maybe it was his fault for falling for planted reviews on Google... but please take your business elsewhere, like My Favorite T-Shirts, which is also in the mall. Or the internet. When my boyfriend went back to complain (which he hardly ever does)... all they offered was a free T-shirt. No partial refund for a crap job? I have been here twice for 3 different items, and overall I had a good experience. I definitely recommend this place and also advise allowing yourself ample time to design and print. In other words, don't wait last minute if you need the item soon. I received one gift from here that came out a decent quality (could have used a clearer photo; could have been the buyer's fault) and out of the three other items I received, two came out perfect and the other came out a little off centered. Most of the items we got are meant to be funny and/or playful so nothing is a huge deal but still. I came in December so of course they were swamped. I had a mug made on my first visit mid month which they were able to complete that day (about 1hr15min wait). Score! On my second visit days before Christmas, I had a water bottle and t-shirt done which was available for next day pickup (Christmas Eve). There were 2 mishaps with those items so that was disappointing due to timing but I will say they were very polite, apologetic, and they corrected one issue immediately when asked. I also purchased a discounted $5 shirt that had a hiccup during printing and would have been a throw away for them. Still looked good so that's a bonus. I recommend getting there early during busy season so you don't feel rushed to decide on font, pictures, etc. The only thing I might change- I wish we (the customers) could sit at the computer and play with the font and stuff. And perhaps they offer that option; I didn't ask due to how busy they were. Call and ask if that's a deal breaker for you. They definitely need more staff during the holidays. The lines got pretty long in there, and I really felt bad for the staff because they were hustling. Just not enough hands! I thought the staff were really friendly and responsive with everything. I had a 5 star experience with the staff. I am giving them 4 stars due to the misprinted water bottle and delay with the shirt. And also they are understaffed. BEWARE of shopping here. I purchased $150 in clothing, brought them in to be embroidered plus 4 t-shirts purchased there. Paid $40 for logo set up fee & $16-18 per item to be embroidered. Picked up today & embroidery was incorrect! Manager received a copy of artwork prior to his employees doing the embroidery & he, manager, ok'd the incorrect logo, because he was to busy to check the order. I LOVE THIS STORE! Ibad was the gentleman who helped me create a shirt for my stepdaughter that said "I love my little sister." We used it for a photo shoot to announce our pregnancy. The hard part was I ordered them on Monday and was trying to get them for Wednesday. Most places would probably laugh if you asked them that. Snap said we can do it, and I had the shirts in two days. Repro quality was great and the shirts turned out exactly as I hoped. The guys have great feedback and respond quickly via email, which is always great so you dont have to go in for your order. I was referred there by a friend and was from out of town and needed a shirt done ASAP before I headed back to my small town that doesn't have anything like Snap. Ibad was SUPER busy and doing a million things at once and I had no idea what shirt to pick out so I didn't mind waiting and when i was ready he only made me wait a few minutes. I am a Beachbody coach and wanted a sweatshirt to reflect that and on the back say my workout program and have it say I love (with a heart not the word love) Turbofire, my left breast side said my coaches name, JocelynBFit, and that i am a coach and my right sleeve said Coach all the way down. Like I said, I didn't care about font. I just wanted it to look nice. But when I picked it up he went above and beyond and used the LOGO on the back and the Beachbody font on the front!!! I had to wait little longer than discussed to pick it up but after seeing all the work he put into it I was totally ok with that. He has a super busy shop and I can see why. I did not experience anything the other people talked about. They were all friendly, just super busy! Apparently I saved this review without actually posting it...a year ago! I just found it sitting here waiting to be posted. Anyways, here goes. Have you ever had a rockstar idea, but found yourself in a bind due to the fact that you need the shirt in under a week and every online retailer can't deliver in time? That's where I found myself last Thursday. I had specific needs for this shirt design and I needed it to be done and ready for pick up by the following Tuesday. I called up a number of online retailers and due to a fulfillment timeframe and shipping time frame all of them confirmed they simply couldn't guarantee to get it done in the time I needed. Totally understandable, I had procrastinated. I made my bed and now I was going to have to lay in it. Or was I? ;) Enter Sarah and Kim from SNAP! Custom Clothing in Northgate. You know the stories of great customer service that people are always raving about. Well this isn't one of those, this is MUCH better. Sarah and Kim handled my call like we had been best friends and they were totally ready help make my shirt happen. They confirmed what I needed was totally possible, they could take my order via email no problem, I could pay over the phone and the shirt would be done and ready to pick up in less than 24 hours. Mind you, this was obviously no life saving shirt I needed made, but I simply couldn't meet up with my buddy in Mexico without this hilarious shirt. I was looking for a custom T-shirt printing shop that did not need a bulk order. I went here first because of all the good reviews I had read on google and Yelp about the quality of the results people were getting. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I showed the gentleman working the picture I had of what I needed on my phone and asked if he could do it. He said it was no problem and would only take 10 minutes to have completed and ready! The results were true to the reviews! Great quality in the finished product and the print is on straight and exactly the size I wanted! I received great service and was really impressed by everything. I will definitely come here again! I wish I could remember the employees name because he gave great representation. I must have gone there on an off day because the reviews here are a lot more positive than what I experienced. I was in a bit of a poor planning induced rush, so the one great thing is that once everything was figured out my custom tshirt was finished quickly. It's also pretty reasonably priced. I called ahead to make sure that my quick time frame would work and also that I could use my own art and was told that was fine as long as it was a CS2 eps file, which is exactly what I sent. I used a shirt I had purchased because I wanted a specific color and dropped it off making sure, again, that it would be ready by 1 or 2 pm the following day and was told that it definitely wouldn't be problem. The next day when I was planning to pick up my shirt I got into the store around 2:30, even later than discussed the day before, and was told that they hadn't gotten a chance to start it. Ibad also said that my file wasn't ready, however when I'm told that all I need to do is send a CS2 eps then that's all I'm going to do. He rushed through prepping the file to print and cutting the vinyl. He made a slight mistake but I didn't have time to wait for another and also didn't have another shirt since I had purchased the one he printed on from a different store. Ibad was also bossing his employee around shoving trash at him as if he was supposed to be standing there ready to do anything he needed at any moment. He also said he had been sick all day and that his employee wasn't fully trained. I really try to be understanding, I've worked in retail and customer service for awhile and it sucks when people are rude, and I also understand that my rush probably contributed to mistakes made. But when I'm assured by the owner and an additional employee that something will be ready by a specific time, I don't need excuses I just need it to happen. It was definitely less than ideal. The shirt looked good aside from the mistake and it was definitely affordable, but I'm probably going to shop around for the rest of the printing I need for the same project. read more

I'm not entirely sure what the griping is about on some of the reviews of this shop--although it is Yelp, and it seems to be the place for people to vent when they are having a bad day and/or their ridiculously high expectations are not met. Patience and a friendly, kind attitude go a long way, that's all I gotta say. Back to the review: This custom apparel shop is awesome. I worked with Chris on a Friday morning and he jumped right into my project. Granted, it was rather simple (Black t-shirt with large white lettering), but I was still very impressed with the friendly, professional customer service. He put together a mock-up in less than 10 minutes while I walked around the store and had the finished product ready to go in another 10 minutes. It was perfect and reasonably priced for a custom job. I will definitely be back. Great to have a place like this right downtown. read more

Solid experience each time I get a custom T for work done here. They have a solid group of graphic designers that are incredibly talented at what they do. Downside is the changes in charging extra fees for outside clothing and some of the nickle/diming on art - keep it a service and encourage a subscription and you could go vertical. read more

We needed customized T-Shirts for our business event and looked right away to another local business to help us with our TShirt project, we found SNAP. Their website is easy to navigate and there are several price points of Tshirts to choose from. Once our design files were sent over, and approved and the order was placed we were sent a draft of what to expect on the TShirt. Looked great, couldn't wait to see it in person. Forward to the night before our event and we got a call informing us that a key piece in the printing process broke down and they could no longer get our order completed on time. So why the high rating? Because Ibad (the owner) made it right. He used another process and hand-transferred our TShirt print onto the shirts that we absolutely had to have for our event. What's more, he even did those at NO CHARGE. Yes, they goofed up (Bad things happen), but they did the best to get us what we needed when we needed it. I picked up the remaining order of TShirts this week. They look perfect and I can't wait to see our patients and clients sporting them around town! A week or so later, although I was a little apprehensive about using their website for designing, I designed and ordered two t-shirts and I'm comparatively pleased with the final output. I don't think I've ever encountered a manager/owner as awful as that of Snap Custom clothing in Alderwood. This guy seriously needs several courses in good business practices, customer service, and employee training. My order was not ready when it was supposed to be, and he made every excuse under the sun, including blaming me, for the problem. His employee stated they left me a message when my order was finally ready, but I had no call or message (clearly I can see missed calls and messages on my iPhone). He then insinuated that I was the one lying about it, not his employee. He offered no recourse for me and took no responsibility for the problem. Basically too bad for you. You may order from this shop and have no issues, but if there is an issue don't expect a decent resolution....and expect to be told it's not their fault, but yours. read more

The thing about custom clothing is that you HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. You have to allow time for the process of artwork, formatting, have the right merchandise you want to print on and know they have the materials/colors you want to print with. If you're prepared it makes the processes a lot easier but you also have to have patience . . because this type of place has a lot of walk ins, pick ups and time sucking customers. If you go in knowing these two things everything goes a lot better. I appreciated Ibad's small suggestion on my printing. Overall, I LOVE MY FINAL PRODUCT. It was an easy job. Ibad was patient with me and the other customers in the shop. $30's for a sleeper onesie is a little overpriced. .but I'd do it again. This place is amazing!!! I have been here twice and both times the staff has been extremely helpful. They are so talented! The first time I ordered several bridesmaid and a bride shirt. This was a custom order and they suggested I look for cheap shirts at old navy to fit what I wanted. I did that and brought them over and they worked perfectly. The guy helping me worked for awhile making the shirts absolutely perfect. The order was done in a couple days. The second time I went in with my fiancé's favorite Tshirt. It was several years old and needed to be replaced but the original company that made it didn't make it any more. They got the design very close to the original. My friend and I had a very similar experience to the one in Stacey's review, so I'm guessing it wasn't just an "off day." Ibad was able to get us the shirts we wanted, so for that he gets a star. But that's where I stop giving out stars. He first promised the shirts would be done at noon. Then, there was a problem and he needed it change it to 6pm... no big deal, as long as the shirts look good, right? Well then it keeps getting pushed back and we get to the store around 7:15 and he says it'll be another few minutes. Okay... so we finally get the shirts at 8pm. Even though the event started at 9 and barely got the shirts in time, it wasn't a huge deal - but I have to say, his attitude definitely was. I've never seen anyone act so dismissive and unkind to a customer - at least outside of really busy restaurants and bars. Ibad acted like we had personally offended him by coming into his shop - or maybe he just judged us (to him, we probably seemed preppy compared to his average customer) and didn't like us from the start. All I know is that I've never felt more unwelcome in a place of business. So Ibad, if you're reading this - it wouldn't hurt to smile at a customer once or twice. You did a great job with the shirts (even though you didn't mention the problems with the vinyl print... I see that missing L), but customer service is a big part of the equation! read more

I ordered a sweatshirt from them online using my own design. The online process was easy peasey. I am familiar with manipulating/creating graphics, but admit a lack of knowledge on creating scalable vector graphics. They noticed my design had rasterized text that wasn't scaling well, so they popped it into photoshop and fixed it for me. The end result is spectacular. So happy with my order!!!! I was in charge of designing t-shirts for a team relay race I was doing and had been putting it off. I had no idea how to design a t-shirt or where to do so. The staff at SNAP were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me design a logo and had the complete order done by Thursday afternoon ( I had made the final order that Tuesday) I got 11 t-shirts for only 15 dollars each.
