Where to begin about how wonderful this local print shop is. The memorial for my dad was on a Saturday. While I should have gotten my designs uploaded at least a few days in advance, the grieving process and efficiency don't really go together. I procrastinated until the last minute. It was less than 30 minutes until closing when I finally submitted my quote request for the memorial booklet. I followed up with a call and that is where I first met Dominique, who told me he would review my job and get back to me within a few minutes. I knew it was very late at this point, but I thought it was worth trying to go with a local business rather than kinkos, fedex etc. While I waited to hear back from The Copy Spot, I uploaded my quote request to the nearby fedex printshop. My email landed in their spam folder and I didn't hear back until a few hours before the memorial on Saturday. In the meantime, Dominique at The Copy Spot called me back. He said he saw that because my print job was for a memorial, he would stay late and finish it for me. The shop was supposed to close for night, at this point. He told me he would have to charge a rush fee of $100, which was extremely reasonable. I was more than happy to pay it given that he gave up his evening plans and kept the shop open for me. Naturally, my file had some issues. I wanted a double-sided booklet but I had no idea how to re-order the pages so that the PDF would print out in the correct order. The owner of The Copy Spot, who had long since left the office and was finally seated for dinner, wizarded my file into shape. Dominque asked me to return in an hour. I came back to two tidy boxes, of beautiful, folded and stapled booklets for my dad. The programs were essential to our event. They were elegant, produced in no time at all and for such a reasonable price. For anyone who has ever thrown an event or been in charge of something that needs to be printed, you know how many things can go wrong and how vital it is to have a printing partner who will make sure you always come out looking good. Moreover, during the loss of a loved one, any bit of kindness from a stranger means so much. My experience with The Copy Spot was both of these, and I am truly grateful. Not even close to 1 star. Printing: good quality Employee: bad customer service Tbh I went there almost at closing time. I felt sorry if he is being busy the whole day with 2 people working. Came in, got trouble with door (open/close). He is like hurry just make it quick. Didn't ask what I need, just like bring it all to me, I print. Not even answer or look into what I need when I ask him. Didn't ask if I ask to print it black or white or in color. I don't mind if the color ones charge more or store makes more money by printing in color. Never ask if I need anything else. Charged both wrong and right ones, not even telling anything. Bad service for employees there. Laughed when I'm still confused when he is like I'm not doing anything wrong, you were wrong. Had good experience from Gorilla store, but not this store. Very helpful neighborhood friendly service! They can print posters as well as smaller items, booklets and special projects. I just needed a 30"x20" print made for a stained glass pattern and the price was so good! These guys are the best! I'm a comedian so I constantly need posters and materials for shows. So I found Gorilla on Yelp after getting completely fed up with Kinkos' crap (mysterious charges on my credit card, crap service from idiots, terrible copy machines, lousy quality of copies and way over-priced. Booooo FedEx/Kinkos! Booooo!) So I decided to give Gorilla a swing. What a great company! I walked in and immediately a gentleman named David helped me out and treated me great! He helped walk me through printing out my poster, even gave me an extra 20 copies (which is awesome!) and was just an absolute pleasure to deal with. We also discussed his business and I absolutely love their approach and how they treat customers. Also, this place is very economical. Color copies here are a good .15 cents cheaper than Kinkos and the quality is much better. This is a great small business that I plan to bring all my future printing business to. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I rarely leave a Yelp review unless I'm blown away with a business but these guys are the best. If you have any printing to be done, I highly recommend these guys. Please support this small business and keep it local. =) P.S. Just as great and easy as everyone else said; I had a 99-page document with all different kinds of forms in it that I needed to copy; when document-feed on the self-serve copier in the front was acting up, the nice guy working there (didn't catch his name) let me use the higher-end copier in the back.
