I could barely walk and they wanted doctor notes and x-ray results. It was pretty awful. A few months later they started bothering me again telling me I either had to return to the gym or cancel my membership. I asked if they would charge me to cancel the membership and they told me they would. I stated to them, if they cannot accommodate me and are forcing me to cancel my membership to clear their system I will not be paying one months membership when I cannot participate in the workouts. I went through a bunch more doctor notes to them and head office to prove my case. No, I would not recommend this gym.

For context, I have worn the same backpack at this gym for over a year with no prior issues. Because I did not feel safe, I escalated the situation directly to management. The way it was handled left me feeling like I was treated as the problem for reporting it, rather than having the concern reviewed and addressed. My membership was revoked verbally. I was told it would be temporary and that the gym would follow up, but I have not heard from management since, and the revocation did not appear to be temporary. I'm sharing this as my firsthand experience so others can make an informed decision. Based on how this was handled, I would not recommend this gym to anyone who expects a respectful, professional, and safety-focused environment.

From access to a wide assortment of equipment for every need and fitness level, classes (which I'm a bit shy to try, but look great and engaging), to over washed towels, this is a great option for any one at any age range. Nautilus type machines are replaced and upgraded every so often, with countless free weights and items. You can also sign up for personal training sessions, which I am sure is also good value. I have been a member for a number of years, and appreciate the value, cost and no hassle of doing what you want. Some of the feedback I would graciously forward is the benches and the air. Personally, it would be great to either have a few treadmills with a blowing air option or stand up fans as with limited air circulation it can get stuffy very quickly (could be just me). My biggest gripe, which I may have suggested before, is adding an extra bench or two to the change rooms. It is a race to get changed, and the last thing we want is a ding dong and other miscellaneous items clogging the periphery. I regularly attend the spin classes which have excellent instructors. The timing of the classes is such that there is a time to fit anyone's schedule. There are also rowing, strength and cardio classes which provide the opportunity to vary one's workout. Yoga classes are offered as well. Coach J's Fitness Studio has increased my fitness level considerably and I would highly recommend classes at this studio.
