No, it's not--unless the insurance company misrepresents what happened by reporting that my husband simply drove his car into a deep hole. I just discovered that my new vehicle insurance is going up almost $200 because of how this incident was reported. My current insurance company told me that if it had been reported as pothole damage, my rate wouldn't be going up. But because of the way Wawanesa reported it, I'm now paying for this and will stay in my records for years. Stay away from both Wawanesa car and home insurance. I hope whoever made the decision to report it this way realizes one day how much their actions can affect people's lives. I hope she has many sleepless nights over it, because if she can sleep well knowing what she did, it only shows how evil she truly is.

I wish we could switch, because having someone to guide us into appropriate coverage rather than just selling bulk cookie cutter policies would be amazing. He's a self-described "insurance nerd" who enjoys getting into the nitty gritty for his customers' benefit. And he is quick to reply to emails and he answers the phone himself. He has since helped guide me on some home insurance claim questions that ended up being really good advice. A friend shared a cautionary tale of what happened to her as a result of a similar circumstance and I told her similar happened with us but we didn't have same fallout with our insurance because we took Nick's advice. We successfully renewed our home policy a second year, where if we had stayed with our previous broker we would have been dropped a year prior. We are so thankful we found Nick. In any case I hired a contractor to clean the roof, spent $2000 and then I sent pictures as proof. One of the pictures had some sign of the recently wet roof. Without any notice they tossed me out of insurance for this flaky reason. And then I find out from the mortgage bank that they tossed me. When I called -- and asked why they did not notify me -- they said "We have more than 100,000 customers and we can't notify every person" .. I said so what is my recourse. the Agent says -- now that the insurance has lapsed there is nothing they can do Absolute filth. I am really considering filing a lawsuit and definitely reported to BBB

I had my vehicle stolen and involved in a theft crime, the suspect damaged my vehicle. You would think liberty mutual would bad enough to make the process easy to get the vehicle towed to a body shop and fixed. This insurance has adjusters that either doesn't know what they are doing? or they are trying to get over on their members on money so they don't have to come out of pocket of much money. But it's completely ridiculous when I pay every month for my coverage. Also they hire customer service representatives that act like they give shit about your problems but don't actually do their job to get you a supervisor when you ask for one. Don't use this insurance, once my situation is fixed I am going with USAA
