Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better.
