The service was just as memorable. Everyone welcomed us in so warmly, it honestly felt like we were regulars. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and the white wine recommendation paired perfectly with our meal. The ambiance was lively and energetic, but we never felt rushed, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. Such a thoughtful touch to leave with freshly baked bread to enjoy at home. We were there early; before 8AM, so there was plenty of seating and no wait to order. We ordered a large black coffee and a large breakfast pizza. The breakfast pizza comes with eggs your way (poached, scrambled, over easy, medium or hard), choice of cheese (cheddar, swiss, smoked provolone or mozzarella) and a meat or a veg. We opted for over medium, smoked provolone and mushrooms. The pizza took a while to be ready and it was worth the wait! Deliciously crispy and smoky, enhanced by their real wood fired oven! It was a true delight! The coffee was fantastic as well. We had it black, the true test of coffee greatness, and Alaska's house roast passed the test with flying colors! Add in a pleasant dining room and friendly service, and this is a true 5-star experience!

While the service was super friendly and the coffeehouse/pizza shop vibe was pleasant ( loved the jazz music), the dish itself was a 4 out of 5. The Hollandaise was watery and lacking in the flavor department. The ham was just OK. For a premium price, a bit disappointing That all being said, it just might not be their best dish. The avocado toast looked amazing. I'll try this place again, if only to explore the amazing looking items in the bakery case.

Quite unusual, but also very authentic in its own way. The wood fire brings exactly what you expect... that beautiful smoky character that only proper grilling can deliver. We decided to try the skirt steak, and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor, exactly how it should be. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt casual, comfortable, almost homey... the kind of place where you can simply relax and enjoy the moment. They mentioned that the outdoor wood grill is only available on weekends, while during the week they grill inside the kitchen without wood. That alone gives me a reason to come back and experience it fully. We were just passing by this time... but it is definitely a place I look forward to visiting again.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

The menu has a good variety of croissants, egg dishes, toasts, coffees, and juices. One of my favorites is the breakfast croissant with egg, ham, and melted cheese. The cheese inside is so good and really makes the whole sandwich. We also tried the scrambled eggs. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the whole wheat toast, which felt a little dry, but everything else was good. If you're coming hungry, get the pancake platter. The portion is huge and perfect for sharing. It comes with eggs, bacon, and three large pancakes. They also have no problem bringing extra syrup, which is always appreciated. For drinks, we've had iced cappuccino, lattes, and the detox juice. The detox juice was actually really good, especially for a green juice. Service is always quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. It's the kind of place where people grab breakfast, work on their laptops, or stay a while and enjoy their coffee. Nothing overly fancy, just a solid brunch spot with fair prices and consistently good food. We'll definitely keep coming back.
