I suggest placing a order over the phone because the wait time was out of this world. And I was only told it would be a 45 to 1hr wait after I placed my order and paid... Which my suggestion would be letting ppl know this before they place their order. Because although I wasn't in no rush someone might be and it's just good business. I ended up ordering the jerk lamb chops because what can I say I'm a sucker for the chops. Now the menu says they are 45 dollars but the receipt actually says 46.80. which I'm confused on how the price is different from the menu already, being that it's a new establishment. But anyways the meal came with 5 lamb chops and two sides. I got the garlic mash and broccoli. I really loved the sauce on the lamb chops, 2 of the 5 were overcooked though. Ordered on DoorDash. I love the taste of the Alfredo pasta however I do think it could use a touch more seasoning such as salt in the pasta water but it's perfect on its own. This food was SO good. We got it today and it was really worth the hype. My husband had the teriyaki salmon tacos. He really enjoyed them. I had the shrimp pasta. My 2 year old was pulling my hand to get more of the pasta, and he's in the toddler stage where he only likes rice and crackers. The flavor of the sauce was awesome. There was a girl taking orders and she was so sweet! The inside is really cool, especially for a take out spot. I also may be biased, because they were playing soca and dancehall. My only complaints are that the food took longer than they said it would, and the price is really high. $26 for a shrimp pasta at a take out spot in Lauderhill seems a bit excessive. We lived in Seattle less than a year ago and had a very similar place where we would order food and their shrimp pasta was $21... in Seattle. But once inside, past the heavy impact weighted doors, the beautiful polished floor with a large orange accent swirl design, large wall-mounted orange bordered menus and the bright orange padded bench in the wait area, all pop against the mostly black walls and interior. After stepping up to the counter, the cashier Krystal smiled, greeted me and answered questions about the menu. After taking my order but no payment, she let me know I'd get a text when my order was ready. Fast forward almost an hour later, someone stepped from the back, asked my name and said my order was ready. As my order was placed in a large Wild Fork paper bag, the person who'd appeared from the back, graciously introduced himself as the owner and chef. He apologized for the wait, explained the new business hiccups (ac repair, etc.) they were having and thanked me for my patience and patronage. The prices are not cheap but neither is quality of what you receive. As noted by the first Yelp reviewer, the amount charged is more than the price listed on the printed and posted menus. But when I opened my bag, I immediately sensed the careful thought and passion that went into preparing my shrimp pasta. From the placement of the beautiful purple flower, to the nine jumbo glistening grilled shrimp atop a mountain of piping hot, creamy pasta. This is a new black owned business by Chef Bigggz and he's doing an amazing job so far. The food is extremely flavorful. As soon as you walk in you'll notice the black and orange decor. It's a to go restaurant but the the inside is still aesthetically pleasing. I got three meals to try for the first time and two drinks. I got the jerk chicken wings, it comes with fries. The wings are so good, they don't need a dipping sauce. Fries had a decent crunch to them too. I also got Lamb Chops along with mash potatoes and corn. He gives you a whole corn cut in two sections topped with a garlic butter that is delicious. Ten out of ten, strongly recommended. Also tried the garlic butter chicken with coconut rice and broccoli. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. I'm definitely gonna come back to try the rest of the menu because he's doing a great job so far. read more

Okay so i wanted to initially put 2.5 stars: Reasons are as follow 1. The wait time. After my order was placed i was told 40 min. It took 2 hours! (Red flag 1) 2. My order was NOT piping HOT, for it to take 2 hours I expected my food to burn my leg once i got in the car. It did not. Luke warm!! (Red flag 2) 3. The shrimp pasta has way to much Heavy cream(Red flag 3), i could feel the cholesterol as I swallowed. Also, Can i get a piece of bread on the side for $25 or am i asking to much? 4. The lamb has a nice flavor; i like my sauce stuck to the protein not juicy at the bottom of the plate. If im not mistaken that oven broil is making them tender but not giving that jerk bbq look i was expecting; they gave me more of a baked jerk lamb pop vibe. Some people will like this me in particular i was not a huge fan of the way it was prepared. Next (red flag 4) the damn mash potatoes have zero seasoning; stop playing cuh; put some damn seasoning on them taters! The corn was cool, still was some mid. :/(mid= not that good ; mid grade) Pretty flower tho. 3/10 the flavor of the lamb saved it. 5. The wings need to be cooked longer; you are black where do we eat wet ass chicken! Especially if them wings are going to stay as big as the size you are serving; please cook those down to hard. I had to throw them in the air fryer for 30 min! Good sauce tho!! And thanx for the fries after waiting 2 hours it was a nice surprise to see, I didn't expect such a gift. I ordered a single pasta dish through a delivery app. After over an hour after I ordered, I saw the driver already waited 20 minutes and then they informed me they told them it would be another 20 minute wait. The first time I visited the Flava Zone, April 2023, the food was delicious. My recent visit I was disappointed and we came a long way. They had to change something in the macaroni, not sure if you changed cheeses or what. There was way to much red oil settled at the bottom of the container and the taste was off, I couldn't eat it. The jerk wings were just ok not what I was expecting. Chicken salad was ok. I typically would not leave a negative review for a black owned business but I think accountability and improvement is important to be sustainable. I think their prices ($95.00 for 2 meals and a drink) are ridiculous for regular tasting food. I have no problem paying whatever price a restaurant charges but not when the salmon is over cooked and the max and cheese has no taste. To literally wait 35 minutes for food and get it warm. If it's cooked to order and I'm sitting outside how does that happen. I tasted the food before I left the parking lot.
