Great pizza. In town the the Appalachian festival and stopped for a pizza. Will be back next year

One of my greatest challenges when I'm traveling is being hungry and not knowing where to dine. Sometimes it all works out well, and sometimes it doesn't. Luckily, my stop at Snappy Tomato Pizza was a positive stop! Located just off Old Highway 52 and about 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, I decided to take a chance and get a meal here because I saw the restaurant from the street, and I'm glad that i did! Plenty of on-site parking, would be a great meal before a baseball or softball game at the nearby park. Kacee took my order, and she was kind and patient, explaining their menu. I ordered one of their medium sausage pizzas, and it was an outstanding meal! Cooked perfectly, served hot, and nothing but positives about the staff. The food is okay for the price. They stopped delivery in areas like Amelia. It really has gotten old, the food isn't fresh anymore, plus when you get it it usually needs to be reheated. I think they're just not trying anymore. It was once good. read more

We've ordered here several times with ok results... However here is our latest experience. After several orders with barely enough cheese to cover a large pizza, we opted to order extra cheese. We ordered two pizzas, one with regular cheese and one with extra. When they arrived we couldn't tell the difference. So, we called. Some young punk answered, who claimed to be the manager... don't believe it... He said they weigh out 7oz for a large pizza, when you order extra cheese for $1.50 you get 3oz more. When I think of ordering extra, I think I'm getting double... He said, "It's like getting 1 & 1/2 times more." "Buddy, I'm not sure where you learned to do math but 3 is less than 1/2 of 7..." They refused to do anything about it, refused to give me a managers name, refused to give me the owners name and didn't care that we could still see pizza sauce through our cheese (which you shouldn't with extra in my humble opinion). Never have delivery drivers available and when they do they are super slow, don't expect a pizza for an hour and a half

I don't know why, but I really like the Snappy Pizza. It might be because it has this awesome, really gooey cheese? maybe their sauce has that slight sweet tang to it? I'm not sure. I used to be a huge Pizza Hut fan, but this is my new favorite pizza chain. I used to order the Jr Beast (rectangular 12 slice pizza that can feed 4-6 people, $14) whenever I was in the area. I usually called ahead, and the staff always had my order ready within 20 minutes. I don't work in the area anymore, but I'm hoping to find another Snappy near Cincy, otherwise I'll have to resign to making that 40 minute drive just to get a few boxes of snappy pizza... read more

Solid pizza!! The baked potato pizza is crazy good. The owners do a great job of keeping customers happy. They do specials a deals everyday. The staff is quick and attentive. For Cincy this is about as good as pizza gets! It's takeout or delivery only which is a bit of a bummer I would love to see them expand and maybe pickup the buffet option a girl can dream! If you are anywhere near the area don't miss out on this branch of Snappy Tomato. I know some of the snappys aren't all the great but this one is something special! read more

Fast delivery, nice staff, and alright food. I wouldn't eat it every day but a few times a month is always nice.

This place is now officially tied in my opinion with the Big Boy in New Richmond right down the street in terms of foulness. This place catered a family get together of ours and brought 10 pizzas, three of which were smattered with mouse feces. When I went to take them back in to exchange them, I asked to talk to the owner or a manager. They told me to wait because the owner was on the phone in the back and I told him I would wait, and while I waited I watched a rather large woman make several pizzas. It was watching her work that made me ultimately want to leave without exchanging the three pizzas that I brought back. It was obviously hot in her work area because she began to sweat where it formed in her armpits, the sweat beads rolled down her arm and dripped off of her elbow several times into the topping containers. When the manager finally came out, I was pretty upset and told him that I was going to leave a review if nothing was done about this. He got really snippy with me and told me that he had enough friends in the area to leave good reviews in order to bury one or two bad ones. read more
